    I'm pretty sure Hulu also has the Unlimited Blade Works movie. Disregard that entirely.

     

    Start with Zero. It's a prequel series to the original and the series UBW was made by the same studio as more or less a direct sequel. It has a lot of throwbacks and will make more sense with the Zero context.

     

    So then you'd want to move on to the UBW series. It is indeed much better than the original Fate/Stay Night show.

     

    HOWEVER, and for whatever reason I've found this isn't a popular opinion, I absolutely recommend you still watch that original series afterwards. The thing about Fate/Stay Night is that it has a branching story - three in total, with the last being made into a movie soon. UBW is an alternate story and not the "true" story of the game/series. The 2006 anime follows the true story more closely. Both are still adaptations though and not entirely accurate I believe. No, it's admittedly not the greatest show. But if you've already gone through the other two, why not? I totally get the backlog complaint, so put this one wayyyy down on the list then.

    I've been meaning to finish this game, but grad school is what it is. I agree, though, that it's a beautiful and fun title - coming from someone who's played a fair number of "heavy-hitting" RPGs. I think the music's what hooked me first, personally.

    Unfortunately it's been too long since I played it to remember much of the music. :/

     

    I hope you get to finish it soon though. :)

    Ugh, Dark Pit... You didn't even sell out for a while after you were released! Why must you go for so much now?!

     

    With how many times they've rereleased Link (I think there's another one coming up even??), it really does surprise me that they haven't done either Pit again.

     

    She's about 5.5 inches tall, so a little short, but combined with her really thin limbs does make her seem rather tiny I'd say.

    I was also able to grab Dark Pit and Palutena. But since I already imported Palutena the Amazon one is for a friend.

     

    As soon as he gets a hold of one of the ones I want.

    I imported both Dark Pit and Palutena and I'm glad I did, because I've either been too sick or too busy working whenever they put them online.

     

    Stupid kids, always needing my attention. :(

    The figuarts Avengers are looking pretty sweet. There's some stuff I don't particularly like about them (some of the joints just look odd) but they look pretty great overall. Also unlike max factory they're kind of releasing them in a timely fashion. They barely showed the painted figma Hulk this wonfes...I don't think I'll get any (so many riders to buy) but they look great.

     

    Speaking of riders, Marika looks pretty neat. Unfortunately I won't be getting mine til like september since I had her in an order with an august twe release...Didn't really feel like it was worth paying shipping from n-y twice just for one figure. On the other hand, maybe by september I'll have actually watched Gaim...Still, she looks great! Her design is among my favorites from that series. Love the metallic pink and the 'soda' parts, and having more female Riders is always nice. Looking forward to getting her.

    The Avengers guys are kind of scratching a long, long, loooong held itch. I believe as a kid I only ever owned one Marvel toy. Some random Cyclops with a disk shooter. Yet I've always liked Marvel and its properties. Hasbro's 6" scale has tempted me to cherry pick for a few years now, but I held back. Since Figuarts are something I've already been collecting... They fit in better. And they're far fewer in number. I'm really liking them.

     

    Solid thinking on that shipping though. I have a few orders with them in the coming months that I combined just for that. My fault for preordering as soon as things are listed heh.

     

    And you better have watched it by then. :P

    No it really was at least partially the fault of Hasbro's polls. They held all four limb polls simultaneously with the exact same choices... So people who might have liked one helicopter very likely did vote just once... In different polls. Leading to two winning.

     

    Didn't help that the choices were so limited to begin with because a good number of the limb molds weren't in it, but it's not just the "fans" at fault in this case. Nevermind trying to say that just because it won a poll doesn't mean it's what all fans would like and we should suck it up and accept it.

    Gaim SHFs as a whole will never overtake the ridiculousness that is Gai and Genocider's prices uuugh...

     

    I just picked up Raia a few weeks ago when Amazon had him on sale for $7! My first Ryuki Figuart. Omg you started with a great line. They're heralded as the best and even with someone like Raia I can tell it's pretty spot on. Abyss in particular I've wanted for quite a while but never pulled the trigger on.

     

    Pretty nice watching order. I still haven't bothered finishing Blade or Kuuga myself... And since I just got that new Kuuga SHF you mentioned, I really feel like I should heh. But yeah, W's a great starting point as is Fourze. With Gaim so early I'd just say to keep in mind it's very, very unlike other Riders.

     

    Drive's been a lot more fun than I was expecting it to. I hated the return to the monster of the fortnight formula, and at about the point you're at it felt like things reeeeally started to grind to a halt. They've picked up pace tremendously since, but it's all been for the better. And having SHFs of Drive, Mach and Mashin Chaser (because Rider Chaser's UGLY [and no SHF of him is revealed but shhh]) lined up on the shelf is a lovely site.

    I was really frustrated this entire episode and that it didn't end with a "people are allowed to like different things and we should try and understand them instead of demanding they be identical to us" lesson ruined it.

    Congrats on the completed amiibo collection!

     

    I had to import Greninja as well; couldn't get to Toys R Us on time here in Canada, and they really screwed the pooch with how they handled it online. 

     

    I didn't think I'd be able to get my hands on Robin or Lucina, so I imported them... and then managed to get my hands on one of each from Wal-Mart as well. I was extraordinarily lucky with Wal-Mart this wave.

    I got ridiculously lucky for the 30 seconds Lucina was up on Amazon. How quickly she went was just insane.

    Link's been reissued too many darn times. Right after he was first released, he was around what you'll see the Pits for now by resellers.

     

    Not that it's a bad thing at all. Mostly. I genuinely don't understand why he just got yet another rerun announced when current stock isn't all moving though.

     

    Would much rather have Dark Pit get one so I can grab him this time..

    Oh, and ZSS Samus has been nothing more than a drawing on a card. It's their way of saying "hey we might," but don't always go anywhere.

    I'm quite glad Lucina isn't coming out until June. If she had come out last month like originally planned... Well, the bill for my April order was already very hefty, but an additional 5200 yen wouldn't have helped heh.

     

    Still haven't tracked down the Amiibo, though. My preorder on Amazon.co.uk got delayed..

     

    But yay, 'grats on getting one soon!

    Alphamon's super legit, I love mine. Although I am REALLY looking forward to Imperialdramon Paladin Mode.

    Ehhhh I still have not convinced myself to preorder him. A shocking amount of restraint, really lol. While a part of me wants him just because of the importance in lore as the founder of the Royal Knights, its only actual appearance was short and the same Imperialdramon I already have. Who is a solid figure. But not one I want a second of all that badly.
