  1. I would have to agree. The Exo-Toa is THE only Bionicle set that I still would love to get my hands on, despite my somewhat-waning interest in the theme as a whole.
  2. I had roughly the same thing happen with Onewa Hordika a few years back. Left him standing on a table, and just as I came back into the room, he fell off, landed on his feet - and even seemed to bend his knees to cushion his fall. I know it was just gravity acting on him as he landed, but it still looked like such a natural movement that it caught me by surprise at the time.
  3. For me, it would either be Onua Mata (nostalgia of being my first ever set), Muaka & Kane-Ra (one of my all-time fave sets), or else one of the 03-toran, because I've always had an inexplicable soft spot for them. Out of those three choices, though, I can't really be sure what decision I would make unless I'm faced with this - admitedly unlikely - situation in real life.
  4. Onua Mata. Ah, the nostalgia XDI remember getting my "Lego World Club" magazine with the first Bionicle comic in January '01, and then instantly persuading my mother to take me to get one of the sets. If I recall correctly, I chose Onua because I couldn't make head or tail of his design from his main picture, so I chose him to work out what he actually did look like in reality XD I must have been... nine years old ...back then? Wow, that was just over half my life ago.
  5. The last I ever bought was Tahu Star, shortly before I lost interest and sold most of my sets - him included - off on eBay.
  6. Mine is, and always will be, Karzahni. I hated that set with a passion. From a MoCist's point of view, I suppose he would have been fairly good, but as a set in himself, overall his design was just awful.
  7. I still have a certain fondness for my lime noble Komau, although I rather like my brown Hau, too. If I owned a Kaukau in any colour other than blue, though, that one would probably become my new favourite, but unfortunately, I don't.
  8. 1. Yes, undoubtedly. Although since I'd already left BZ before it went down, I've had a longer period to change over than most.2. I discovered this thing called real life, maybe some of you have heard of it? XDDDD More seriously, I guess I've just become a more mature, more 'real' person, although it's kinda hard to explain that really.3. Well, I've noticed Lewa0111's become a much more awesome comedy writer than he was before, if that counts. Other than that, however, I never really knew anyone else on BZ who's still here, so I can't really answer.I have also noticed a certain increase in ponies since I was last here. While I can't say I'm particularly surprised, given how fast I've seen the craze spreading elsewhere... I guess I never actually thought it would get as far as BZ XD4. I would respond to that with an AVPM quote, but I can't seem to think of a decent one right now.
  9. Heh, I'd forgotten how much I missed this comedy. This is just wonderful XD I just went back and compared this to the original chapter, and I can safely say that the new version is certainly superior to the first one. The characters have so much more evident personality to them, while still keeping the traits that made them so fun to read about the first time around, and as I said, I look forward to reading more. ...by the way, did I ever GS in the original version? I have a feeling I may have made a very minor appearance as 'Gurak' at one point, but I don't rightly remember. While I don't mind either way, it would be nice if you could confirm that for me, one way or the other - thanks.
  10. If this came out as anything like A Very Potter Musical... then I'm behind this idea all the way. Because AVPM is just that awesome, and something like that involving BIONICLE... ...would be utterly hilarious XD
  11. ...Forget what I said with that last comment, nostalgia brought me back :P Probably not going to be doing much writing here now, though.

I noticed that you were on my profile the other day, and thought to myself, "Wait, didn't Darth Jaller decide to leave? Could this mean...?"

      Glad to see you're back!

  12. Hugging Bionicle characters? Oh wow XD This concept amuses me greatly. Very well-written, too - I'd enjoy seeing more of this comedy ^^
  13. Hey, Lewa0111, good to see you're still around ^^ I've got to say, I found this just as enjoyable as I found the original when I first read it - you got me laughing out loud a few times throughout these chapters - and since my sense of humour has improved since then, I can safely say that marks the comedy as much better than its predecessor, too. Looking forward to seeing more of it.
  14. Oh, thanks ^^ Just out of curiosity, can animated images be used for the avatar/profile pic - providing their filesize is low enough - or does this software not permit that?
  15. I'm going to sound like a total cool dude or newb or both for asking this, but I simply cannot figure out how to set my avatar on here since the site got redecorated - the only option I have is for changing my profile pic. Are they the same thing now? And if that is the case, then I'm still confused because the profile pic upload window says that the image is recommended to be larger than 200px - but the image guidelines say that avatar limits are still 64x64 pixels. Could someone offer me some clarification on this matter, please?
  16. For me, it's currently a tie between '02 and '06 for the story. '06, well, it's long been a favourite of mine, and as for '02... well, I won't say it was the best year ever, but I loved the Bohrok Flash Animations and how some of the minor matoran characters from the year before got the focus through them. And, of course, '01, if only for the sheer nostalgia of it. As far as sets are concerned, I don't especially have a favourite anymore, since I sold of most of my collection. Probably would be '06 again, though.
  17. Started at university, did a lot of Disney-based roleplaying, got a serious crush on someone I met on one of those sites, gained an interest in the Harry Potter franchise... nothing to speak of, really ...although I'd already officially left BZ before the place went down, so it didn't really affect me anyway.
  18. Back before the forum went down, my only plan was to leave this place for good - but nostalgia during the downtime brought me back I have been planning a serious reboot for an old and awful comedy of mine for a couple of months now, too, but I dunno if I'll ever get anywhere with that or not.
  19. "I guess because it would make you money from the coutless fans who don't want to accept that it's gone for good? I don't particularly care either way; I just wear this T-shirt for the nostalgia."
  20. If I remember correctly, my first was a reply to Galigee's Makuta Island epic - fitting, since it was reading that which prompted me to join up in the first place. A very noobish reply, that horribly overused the :smile-whatever-character: emoticons >_< ...And no, I'm not going to go and find the exact quote for you
  21. Whoa, what happened to the place? I leave for a year or so, come back, and everything's all shiny and new XD
  22. Hey, guys.

    I've left BZP now. Sorry.

Full message is in my Comedy Library.

  23. Ah, Sithspawn, no normal ones left in XL. I really wanted one of those. - Darth
  24. Oh, I so really want one of those. I love the 'Classic Bionicle' feel they have. Too bad I can't get one - there's no way I'm able to come to Brickfair. Do let me know if they become available to order over the internet after Brickfair's over. - Darth
  25. Nice storyline ideas. Thanks, Greg! Although I'm actually glad this hasn't been made into a movie - if the company who'd made TLR had done this, it would have lost a lot of its awesomeness before it got to the screen, I imagine. Plus, I like the designs of the elemental lords being left to the imagination, so I'm glad we didn't get to seeing any sets of them. I would have liked to see Kiina and Ackar with the new armour, though. BTW, what happened to Click? He didn't get a mention at all. - Darth
