Definitely looks terrifying by taking movie teridax design, improving on it and giving his namesake a run for his money.

Where'd These Masks Come From?
Toa of Ice - 1987 replied to TheSkeletonMan939's topic in Bionicle Discussion
It does have part of the mouth on the prototype. But that in my opinion that was probably a prototype that was scrapped and reimagined for turaga whenua's noble ruru mask. -
/THE/ Piraka (BBC73)
Toa of Ice - 1987 replied to Rahkshi Lalonde's topic in Bionicle-Based Creations
Dont want to sound blunt its a ok moc but it looks like a small combiner with added bits seeing as the brown is clashing against red when it is used in uneqal parts brown to red. The red is simply too dominant for the brown to work to its best potential. -
Why do the Kanohi Nuva exist?
Toa of Ice - 1987 replied to Toa Azarius's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
there is a simple reason in my opinion. After Artakha learned about the toa evolving, he was probbly quick to theorize that the toa nuva would not have their goledn masks any more, so he ordered the spare nuva masks to be created the as a emergency supply masks if any of the nuva would need to go a solo mission alone or ever got separated. -
For me it's a draw between Tahu and Ikir and Kopaka and Melum

Transformers Optimus Primal (Transmetal)
Toa of Ice - 1987 replied to Toa of Ice - 1987's topic in Bionicle-Based Creations
Thanks. But Unfortunately Gorzan's head isn't available in the program and if could find i might have tried it out. Wish i could buy it since his legs he is a major pain to transform inside the program -
This is one of my best creations, i manage to create a transformer with CCBS pieces with lego digital designer. unfortunately he has one major flaw, the ammounts of ccbs bones required to let the blue gorilla feet reach down doesnt give the best results in the visual department, but he has all 3 modes the original toy had (gorilla, transport mode, and robot). The only solution i had for his "face was to use a kanohi hau because its the closest to a gorilla and the robot face which is a HF visor connects as a butt plate in gorilla mode" Gorilla Form Flight Mode Robot Mode He is based on this

Strawpoll - What are your thoughts on G2 Bionicle?
Toa of Ice - 1987 replied to Logan McOwen's topic in Bionicle Discussion
Mine was option number 5 -
You've done it again "Another Logan McOwen original" This thing is literally filled to the brim with detail and charm, yet brilliantly intimidating as well. and the 2 gear functions are amazing, but is he back-heavy in any way?

BBC 73 : Regal Guard - Riot Division

Nice creation but let me guess, asidefrom the riotfleas concept, is it inspired by the fact that Tufy Pyufi likes Puffin birds ? -
Unresolved Plot Threads
Toa of Ice - 1987 replied to Disciple's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
Agreed i read it last night and the storyline is a lot like how the bionicle books were. And it's very intensely thought out in detail. I know he's gone dark but i wonder if Greg Farshtey would be willing to approve it as a official continuation to the G1 story so the cliffhangers become officially resolved -
I've been checking stores here in Iceland stores with a close friend of mine over the last 3 months Hagkaup, a Lego Store and a local Toys'R'Us and they all have the same ammount of the 2016 sets except for uxar and ketar, heck it's even similar how much each store has of the sets. It seems like those 2 creatures are somehow cursed since they aren't in the store warehouse registries despite several attempts, they don't have any known delivery schedules and they haven't even offered to give us any updates if the sets are arriving. I'm getting worried if stores here are trying to refuse receiving more lego sets including bionicle sets.

No need, we already have our seventh Toa in the form of Ekimu.I was about to say that as well. Ekimu, while by title is the "Mask Maker" seems to be our Toa of Light, even if he isn't explicitly called that. What color scheme would the Toa of Light have that would differ from Ekimu? Edit: And I adored Takanuva as a kid, so it's not like I have anything against the character. I'd actually love for him to return but Ekimu hits that spot well. Translucent yellow of course, same colors as Lego City sets use for car headlights. Add in white and a splash of white armor along with occasional black ccbs bones and presto a recipe for a G2 Takanuva.

Thats what marketing startegist often do, use visual effects to make it look impressive to fool those who cant spot the difference from photoshop alteration compared to press release pictures months earlier. But i think lego has gotten over such silly tactics with the gold stuff. But they tend do overdo it with how strong the glow in dark bricks can be compared to out of the box.(On Ninjago sets for example from last year)

Wairuha: Great Uniter of Wisdom
Toa of Ice - 1987 replied to Lyichir's topic in Bionicle-Based Creations
Huh. I actually didn't directly base either weapon off of Wairuha Nuva's weapons, but it is a close match, isn't it? If I'd realized that sooner I might have actually swapped the green and blue sides of this model to match. Here is why the green crystal blades reminded me of those air katana positions. But in hindsight now i also remembered Wairuha Nuva was one of the least impressive toa combiners or just cumbersome and very odd to look at -
Wairuha: Great Uniter of Wisdom
Toa of Ice - 1987 replied to Lyichir's topic in Bionicle-Based Creations
Both models seem to be absolutely brilliant. For hid left arm weapons(green blades did you use wairuha nuva's weapon configuration that the air katana were in?) . Also a size comparizon with G1 Wairuha Mata and G1 Wairuha Nuva would be fun, assuming you have some spare time and the supplies to build them? -
Oh dear, looks like this thing that could have been a big contender has been disqualified by Tufi Pyufi. But it does have a overall really good build..The are no gaps to speak of as you filled most of them with the classic "bohrok eyes fit anywhere trick". and The Chrome Hau really fits into the theme and design since its color made it a a unique mask back in 2001.

Is it just me or did this review seem rather short for a titan set? -

Restoring old 2002 Bionicle site WIP
Toa of Ice - 1987 replied to Quantum Melody's topic in Bionicle Discussion
It's not much but i remember it in detail. Most of them walk casually until you interact with them. Most of them can be clicked and picked up/dragged and will react as if scared and trying to escape Tahnok will do a flamethrower animation if clicked on once. Most of them can be clicked and picked up/dragged and will react as if scared and trying to escape and if you let go above the start menu he will use his weapons as jet to slow down his fall (most of the others roll up into ball form) Lehvak will spray acid when clicked on and it looks like it show damaged circuits on the screen. It will be startled if you pick him up. Nuhvok uses a moving animation as in digging when clicked, you can drag him but if you let go of him he will inmediately launch itself at a nearby edge, uses its tool to tunnel into it and and behaves like a mole reappearing on the start menu bottom and walk again. Pahrak will show off sonic attack waves when clicked. Also this is the only one that can not be "click and dragged", this one will quickly use it's powers to break your hold on it and land on the ground. Kohrak will shoot ice from its weapon when clicked and if you grab it will encase itself in ice wherever you drag him until you let go. Gahlok will just swim around anywhere across your screen and do a forward breast stroke animation when clicked and if you drag it, it will curl up and spin around continously. -
Bionicle characters as "gods"
Toa of Ice - 1987 replied to Lenny7092's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
I just checked the Biosector 01 (The most reliable Bionicle Wiki) the Piraka monster Irnakk fits in as well. also shouldn't this topic be in storyline and theories forum? -
Set Review: 71314 Storm Beast
Toa of Ice - 1987 replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
I wonder why lego didnt fill in the ball holes in his arms. All it would take on each arm would be a black ball joint-sphere and either the lightning pieces from hero factory set dragonbolt or a translucent blue/fluorescent green version of that new small flame piece we've seen on many bionicle g2 sets. Using these suggestions would give the impression that storm beast had arms that are crackling with powerful lightning energy. -
most of the major retailers in iceland store have had all of the uniter winter wave sets since late march but they havent received uxar and ketar for months (never arrived and never been sold out)
