  1. Kopaka Mata wields a shield. Master Kopaka is a shield.
  2. I'm not particularly inclined believed they're supposed to.
  3. ...geez, yeah, I did get a bit carried away there, didn't I? o_o
  4. Needs more gaslighting and tricking people into personally killing their loved ones in the most agonizing way possible. And videotaping the whole thing to show to their buddies.
  5. IC: Kuur- Canus entrance Kuur huddled by the entrance to the village, away from the Matoran that had been attacked in the wastes. He was somewhat more certain of what was actually happening now- someone important was going to give a speech- but still rather confused. He didn't dare speak up. Speaking meant attention, and there was a crowd nearby, and Kuur did not like attention from crowds. OOC: Just reflecting the move from the Wastes. I guess Kuur's still open for interaction? Not that anyone's really going to talk to a stranger while Maru's giving a speech.
  6. Simple yet distinctive design. Hands could use some work, but overall I think it's pretty neat!
  7. IC: Kuur Amidst the Matoran scrambling up the edge of the plateau or helping the stragglers up, Kuur appeared. He'd heard the commotion from where he'd been dragging his arm through the sand, and, curious and distracted, wandered over to see what had happened. Now that he was there, though, he wasn't entirely sure what to do. There was a lot of bustle and noise, enough to make him want to stay in the background, and he'd completely forgotten what it was he was doing before. Probably something important? It'd come to him eventually. Maybe. OOC: Kuur open for interaction.
  8. Well, "gone" is a tad ambiguous, but I'm inclined to believe that, for all intents and purposes, the sandworm got bored and is staying underground for the time being.
  9. Reaction upon reading the topic name: "Tahtorak? Hm. This is going to look weird and stuff, isn't it?" Reaction the instant I saw the picture: "oh wow yeah that's a friggin' Tahtorak holy crud o_o" I agree with the sentiment that the Mata brain-eye-thingies don't quite fit, but other than that, well done!
  10. "But hey, looking good wasn't really the point." Heh. When you put it like that... (That's not sarcasm, for the record.) Improvements... well, to be honest, everything I would say would just be related to making it more aesthetically pleasing, which, as stated, doesn't really matter. As far as the contest and intent goes, I think Rampage is pretty good as it is, and judging by all the votes you got, a decent chunk of BZP thinks so as well!
  11. That is a very interesting build you've got going there. I like the use of fire elements on the back- they make me think of flame-spewing exhaust pipes on the most ridiculous of heavy-duty vehicles. Those feet are definitely not a build I've seen before, and I'm not quite sure what I think of them yet. I notice a lot of system studs stuck in weird places- some of them work, but most of them just feel like they make the design more cluttered- and to be honest, Eyrain seems pretty cluttered to begin with. I can't access Flickr from my computer right now, so I can't judge the rest of the MoC just yet, but I'm definitely intrigued by what I see so far.
  12. Forty bucks... That's a lot of money. I don't think it's in my price range.
  13. Oh man, we get to see Skull Grinder's POV. This is fantastic.
  14. This does an impressive job of rendering good-looking backgrounds out of unusual usage of normal pieces, and while the Water Vako seemed kinda iffy at first glance, after closer inspection I started noticing things like the tread and classic-inspired frame, and it does a really good job of making me think of the 2001 Rahi sets. If I had to pick an overall winner for the contest, I'd go with this one. It might not be my favorite entry, but in my opinion it's almost certainly the best.
  15. Those wings, those legs, the waist pistons! This is fantastic! Mess with the fingers and replace the mask with the normal Kraahkan, and it'd be perfect!
  16. Toss-up between 6 and 8 for me. I ended up going with 6 because it was just so darn creative, even though I felt 8 fit the theme better.
  17. I love Jordrok, I really do... but darn it, I can't vote against that Manas, I just can't.
  18. I swear I've seen this design somewhere before. Not the MoC itself, but the general look of the thing. Makes me think of the mutated Takea sharks in the Pit, actually.
  19. ...is that a Toa Mata eyestalk how do you have a separate eyestalk
  20. For better or for worse, it does remind me of the sort of MoC that showed up in old Lego magazines and Bionicle sourcebooks.
