  1. I am, but that character existing is a fundamental lack of any understanding.
  2. Alright, just in the nick of time I've finished my entry for the contest! I give you... Mighty Morphin'! Part 1Part 2 Just barely got it done, I hope you all enjoy and can help me make it all the way!
  3. In the aspect of comic entries, would PGS' be allowed to play a role in the comic if their permission is gotten? Like some friends of mine in my comics, those are okay?
  4. Katuko, I'd like to address three things you said. I'll say flat out that I agree with Var and Gerlicky, so lemme start. I agree that you should have such a program. But if you're starting out and you wanna use a certain kit, you shouldn't be forced to. A kit should be able to right off the bat be used by Windows and Mac software, no eggscuses. And as far as transparency goes - it isn't here. I personally went ahead and tried to use this "kit". I took it into photoshop, found it that the files were not transparent, and when I tried to make them so... Well, have you ever tried to use a sprite after it was in a .jpg file? Yeah, that happened. AKA these are unusable. Insert snarky comment here. I agree, it shouldn't be. It should be geared for MS Paint and whatever program the Mac has. And I'll say right now that you are, without a shadow of a doubt wrong about comics needing a higher capacity program. Look at Gerlicky's comics. Psycho Dogs and Carbonated Beverages (Before your time, I know, but look it up), and earlier comics made by Dark709 before he began using gimp. Comics are in no way hindered by MS Paint. If anything, I feel that comics are sometimes ruined by programs like photoshop and gimp. They lose their charm. And I repeat, these files have no layers, no transparency, and are not able to be used at all. Insert snarky, slightly witty comment here. I'd agree if that was what was going on here. Have you even tried using this, or are you related to the person who has made this and are trying to defend them? Lemme show you a gallery from BionicleSector01 that has relevance. Show me the difference between the "sprites" in that gallery and the ones shown here. I'd love to see 'em. What you don't seem to get is that this isn't game ripping. This is a bunch of photos put into one file. And don't tell me to look at what it can become, because from what the "creator" of this "kit" seems to suggest is that aside from what we see, he likely won't get to any game rips any time soon. Now, what Damaracx posted (the Hakann walking poses) is usable. It has no white fuzziness around the sprites, and can be turned transparent for easy use. Right now, the primary place that uses sprites and kits (Artwork 3) has a bunch of newer comic makers who are just getting into things. Like Var said, this "kit" alienates any new people. Heck, even anyone who has been around for a while and can use programs like photoshop and gimp (such as me) can't use this, because it isn't a kit. If you fully believe this to be usable, use it. Show me a proper usage of this kit. And if you can't use only what has been posted, find a way to use it and prove to me it can be used. I'll be quiet then. Insert final witty, sarcastic, snarky comment here, and the clarification I can use and have used both Photoshop Elements 10 and Gimp... 2.5, I think. I've made comics using those programs and MS Paint for 6 years, and I continue to do so now. And I don't mean to try and put down this guys spirits. I think he has an interesting idea and I'd love to actually see proper, usable game sprites. I think that'd be neat. What I am saying is that what he has posted so far isn't actually what I'd hoped it would be.
  5. The only time I've seen Bionicle parts/sets priced more unreasonably was when that guy tried to sell the Platinum Avohkii for $30,000. I'd see it if you were selling whole Toa prototypes for maybe $80 each, along with $50 per McToran. Turaga I can see being about $60 each. I'd trade, but I got nothing of that worth. =P
  6. I am very glad you liked it! It took quite a bit of work. XD Again, glad you enjoyed it! Yup, always find a way to get him in there. =P And well, as for RtC... I dunno... Wait until the end of this post. Oh, I am so glad someone caught that! XDDD Glad you liked it! Well, it is a tad late in the day, but here is the new Pink Day comic! Enjoy! Now, I have a sad announcement. Lazy Life announcement - Please read: I have sadly been unable to make as many comics as I'd like in order to entertain you guys. I really want to keep chugging ahead and make funny comics like I have been for the past 6 years of my comic making. It's been an amazing adventure. Sadly, life has just been getting all the more busy, with work in real life along with everything I now do for The Three Virtues, including videos, the podcast, BioCraft, and managing the channel with the others. Due to all of this, comic making has been slow. This along with the decline of people on BZP and in the comics forum has caused me to lose the motivation I have had for six years. And that has hurt both The Lazy Life and EtB. As a result, I feel the need to give a proper ending to my comic making. What this means is I will be soon ending working on comics as a whole. Not leaving BZP, just comics. I will finish the Alena story arc (2 more comics) along with Guest Staring Sybre and kopaka's kool kompanion in the same comic to speed things along (I am sorry for the delay and I wish I could make separate comics. I'll make it a good one to make up for it, I promise). I will also be shortening EtB by 5 comics, leaving only 5 left. And finally, I will make a 5 comic long story arc officially ending the comics. I feel that after all this, The Lazy Life needs a proper ending. I don't want to end up like many comic makers that do this for a while and never end it properly. I assure you guys it'll be a nice ending, something I think this series deserves. I'll be working on all of that up to the end. I'll do my best to get the comics out quickly. Thank you guys for reading and posting and enjoying my comics for so long.
  7. I got the chance to speak with Sayger a year or so ago, and his style was actually brought up. Turns out that Lego wanted him to draw in that certain style, as it was different, it was a new style as Lego was taking Bionicle in a new direction in 2006. So the reason it is like that is because it is grittier to fit the story better.
  8. Hm, this is very sad to hear. I really appreciate the fact that they kept both websites up this long after they cancelled Bionicle, so I have got to thank them for that.
  9. Alright guys, new comic! We're halfway through!
  10. Thank you for the OBZPC status! And everything else!

    1. Black Six

      Black Six

      You're welcome!

  11. The light blue on Kopeke is canon. The set pictures show it as being light blue, so I'd assume it would be that way.
  12. ABS? What is that? I actually have a 3D printer, so I want to know. Well, according to MNOG, Tamaru has a light blue torso and arms, which would be easier. Eljay, were you thinking of the "set" of tamaru? (The tohunga pic released in 2002.) Well, the thing with that photo is that it clarified that he was teal and lime. In MNOG, Kongu's mask and feet were light blue as well, despite them being teal in the set. When Lego released those set pictures, they made it so that Tamaru's colors were just Kongu's, only in reverse. That was later reinforced by MNOG 2, where Tamaru looked like this.
  13. An easy way to remember that Hafu has a Ruru is that he came out with that mask as a set. Another way to remember Taipu has a Pakari is that he's from Onu-Koro, which the Matoran seem to have an abundance of Pakari masks. So it's Hafu - Ruru | Taipu - Pakari. As far as Kapura, at the time of the Chronicler's Company he had a Pakari as well. And for Kopeke and Tamaru, you won't be able to make their accurate Matoran forms without painting parts, sadly enough. Kopeke would need light blue feet, and Tamaru would need a teal torso and arms like Kongu's, and lime feet. (Argh, archivist_66 beat me to it!)
  14. Thanks! And yeah, I think it was just because of the length of time before I released a new comic. It's been interesting going back and remembering what I normally do for comics. The next one I think is even better. Glad you liked it! Yeah, it's hard to figure out a working color combo for his text. I'm thinking of resorting to red and black, and just make things easier. And actually, there is! I kinda threw that in there to harken back to when I originally introduced that sword, in where I'd catch a mangosteen with the axes. I feel it went well. =P There will be another comic some what soon, more than likely next week! After that, only 10 more comics until the end!
  15. I will be free. I WILL BE FRE- Yanno, I wonder if the mangosteen striking back is happening inside the bottle, or in the movie set for The Cube. Over all, I'm actually enjoying this! I've seen random comics similar to this done before, and the results were not exactly pretty. I feel this works slightly better. The Soran joke was funny, and while I don't understand how I got in a bottle, it seems fairly well received. =P I don't quite understand the Halo 4 joke, though... Over all, really looking forward to more!
  16. Sorry about the absence, guys. After December, I've been tuckered out as far a making comics go. I just recently got inspired to continue. I only took a break, I'm not quitting. With that, here is a new comic!
  17. Too late. Time to die. So far, liking this series! Cool to see you back in the game, and I love the use of Razor. The stretching of questions over panels gets a bit jarring at times, but I still enjoy it either way!
  18. I support this in full, which is why I voted 'other'. My other would be this, easily.
  19. You are right bout that sorry Hum let me vome up with a new name... No problem! I've seen BioCraft around a lot. Of course, you only see/hear about other things named BioCraft after you've named something that. But yeah, good luck with another name. Nuicraft still an option? =P As far as this modification goes, it looks good. Most of it is Click's stuff from what I have seen, so I'm eager to see more. I'll have to try out the file when I have more time. : Those names might work! I've seen Bionicraft around a few times too, though. =P
  20. Well, I see you've credited Click for his stuff, but like Bulik said, BioCraft's name is kinda in use. =P I'd suggest Craftonicle. Haven't seen that one yet. =P And just so people know: This modification is in no way associated to the BioCraft: Chronicles film.
  21. Is one character the only option, or are a group of them allowed? If a group, I nominate either the Toa Mahri or Toa Newva. Of these options, I don't like any of them. If the image was colored and all, I'd say Teridax, but otherwise these all seem like poor choices.
  22. I am so confused right now... I have no idea what to believe anymore... Greg... If it's you... Is the cake a lie? Or is it the only truth on the internet right now? ;(
  23. Sooner than you may think. And of course you didn't see any of our videos talking about when we're gonna release, jeez.
  24. Atmospheric would be a great place to start out with. I'm sure it'll sound great either which way, so thanks! Also, just as a status update: Lewa vs. Onua CGI scene is done.
