Everything is Mata-Nui's fault
The Hip Historian Iaredios replied to Toa Chuck's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
That.. Is... AWESOME. -
I don't remember much about the rahaga personalities, just there role in the overall story. Matoran, Toa, Mature Toa, hired as Teridax's bodyguards, after Kojol's retrieval of the Shadow and Light Kanohi, Norik and crew recover the avokhii, roodaka mutates them, they become rahi ranchers to spite the visorak, Web of Shadows occurs, they sweep up cobwebs with a red elder, become a ghastly welcoming party for hobbits, continue sweeping cobwebs until they are dragged out of their janitor duties and whipped back into Toa by a magic blast that ends up with them getting high off of Teridax's magic wand, err I mean hand. Did I miss anything? I had actually forgotten about them until I saw the topic title, are they really that forgettable?

Sarabande Suite (Aeternae), by Globus. I love the piano, and how it builds up to be quite epic. -
Last Book You Read
The Hip Historian Iaredios replied to Queen of Liars's topic in Completely Off Topic
Aside from my holy text, the two books I have been reading are: The Alexiad, by Anna Komnenos; and The Thrawn Trilogy, a Star Wars graphic novel adapted from three novels by Timothy Zahn. The first is a history book about Alexios Komnenos' life from just before his ascension to power to the rest of his life as the Emperor of the Roman Empire, which is interesting as his reign covers the events before, during and after the First Crusade, all from a different account then the Papal controlled West, not to mention plenty of drama and fracking awesome large-scale medieval battles written in vivid detail. All of this is written by his first daughter, Anna, who is surprisingly well learned and non-biased for her time. Her writing, even though it dates back to the end of the 1000's AD and early 1100's AD, reads like a novel and not a fact book. I only have a couple more 'books' to read until I am finished (in a modern-day sense, 'book' would be replaced by 'chapter', as the entire thing is a single collected chronicle.) By the way, the edition I have includes maps and a glossary for Greek words that do not have a direct English translation. ===================================================== The Thrawn Trilogy is so far a good book, though I hear it gets pretty awesome with the second half, with which I am in luck because I am smack dab in in the middle of the book. The story takes place about five years after the Battle of Endor as seen in Episode VI, where Luke is a full fledged Jedi Knight and is training his sister Leia as his padawan while she is pregnant with twins. In the shadows of the last teeny tiny bit of the Galactic Empire, the last of Palpatine's warlords, Grand Admiral Thrawn, planning a series of attacks that threaten the recently created New Galactic Republic and would tatake over the Galaxy under Imperial rule once more. Even if you do not like Star Wars, one cannot help but love the titular character Thrawn, who is extremely intelligent and can spot all the tiniest of details and rip you apart from such flaws. I am curious as to how the protaginist can hope to defeat such a figure. I will continue reading. -

Sonera, by the music artist and composer Thomas Bergersen. Highly underrated, I wish more people knew of him. The song's lyrics are beautidul, but in Bulgarian. If anyone knows said tongue, could you please translate? -
Can the Toa disassemble themselves?
The Hip Historian Iaredios replied to Fry's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
So you are telling me that clucking Nuju and magician Matau, along with the rest of that mery band of secretive wise-guy liars, are plastic surgeons? I've heard of stranger things... Yes Mr. Platypus, I am, in fact, looking at you; deal with it.I would more likely believe Nokama, Whenua and Nuju remembered parts of the procedure, and the six turaga worked together to rebuild the first few, and taught the others to do so.As for them being plastic surgeons, that was what we call an analogy; taking a foreign concept and translating it with familiar concepts. Yeah.. That was just moi having fun, please do take into account my word choices and what I said Senior Roboto. Danke. -

I accidentally said yes, as am using a phone and my thumb slipped. The following is in the case of the continuity continuing unaltered and not a reboot. No, Teridax should not come back and he had a fantastic run and an even more epic death. It is time for a new darkness to rise, let the malevolence rise anew with a new mask. Same with the Makuta species; I see Miserix as an anti-hero, and Alt. Teridax is the yang to The Makuta's ying. Do something fresh, this time a being that isn't literally made out of darkness.

I am confused, it sounds like you are combining Icarax and Miserix. If not, then I am even more confused. -
How Does Becoming Nuva Work?

I thought the Golden Armor to be pretty awesome. Whenever I hear "Strength of a Thousand Men" by TSFH, I imagine him donning that armor while flashing back over the past year since he woke up on that Island. Then once he replaces his helm the music rises in power equal to the power straining through his muscles and organic armor unleashes all that raw power! -
They are; why do you ask? Is "Rock" here a typo for "Earth" from the previous discussion? (An easy typo to make; I've made it myself. ) Who is the "you" that you're referring to? I didn't see anybody saying anything like that. (Just reviewed twice.)No one said that specifically, I was just coming to conclusions. The Skrall are a seperate species from the Agori yet are called the Rock Tribe.

I would love to have that Pakari. I am a sucker for quality tribal designs (save tatoos). Is that already sold? I have some cash to spend and that is a lovely piece of art. I love the others, but that pakari and avokhii especially caught my eye.

The Toa look odd, but I presume that is just the way you drew them, so besides that this drawing is pretty good! The stretched out bodies seem they would fit someone like Takadox. Try drawing him, I am most curious.
