IC: NovaMorningClothing store, Ko-KoroAmalod had moved back into the store to speak with Esao and another, female Toa. Unsure whether to sigh in relief or frustration, Nova opted instead to hold his breath as he stepped outside into the chill air of Ko-Koro with his cloak on and hood drawn. The cloak did a good job of keeping him warm. Nova nodded in satisfaction, wrapping the cloak a little tighter about him, leaning against the wall outside, and waiting for the others. An added bonus to the cloak was that he could hide within its folds and thick fabric -- perhaps for anonymity, perhaps for extra warmth.

IC: Madrihk (Near Place of Shadows)"You could punch her in the shoulder," Madrihk commented, his deadpan form of humor not really shining through at all. "However, I might have something for you to do, Plagia," he continued. "Your mask is perfect for preventing an ambush. No, wait, that's exactly what it's not. What I mean to say is: we expect an attack sooner or later, so having you with us when we go to meet Mister Ransom-taker would be good. Ah, screw it, let's just hear what he wants."The Toa of Ice gestured for the sound to be increased again, then he cupped his mouth with his hands and spoke in the direction of where the illusionary display had been."All right, then, I can see we're not getting anywhere, so why don't you say how you want this exchange to go? Our ransom for your hostages, trade happens at the same time so no one feels like stabbing the other in the back. Nice and simple, right?"

IC:When Quoribay heard madrihk's response, he was pleased. lets just get this over with, nice and simple, He thought. He would prefer not to Kill the hostages, but these "ILS" People probably want to stab us in the backs. He kept his dirks in hand incase the toa they captured tried to escape, and he waited for orders.

IC: Esao (Clothing Shop, Ko-Koro)"Ladies and mentelgen, boys and girls!" Esao's voice rang out from the changing room, sounding like an MC at a boxing match "Introducing the one and only, the Brooding Bowmaster, the Affable Archer, the Sexy as Karz Swordsmaster coming to you liiiiiiive from Ko-Koro, Esao Mandala featuring THE BEANIEEEEEEEE!"He came bounding out of the room with his leather armor packed in a bag: he wore a nondescript pair of black slim jeans, a white t-shirt with thick black stripes, and, of course, the beanie."How do I look? Guys? Honest opinions?" he asked, adjusting his kukri's sheath so it lay strapped against his right thigh.-Teezy

IC(Amalod [Talking to Esao: Ko-Koro, Clothing Store])

"Ooh," Amalod says in an approving tone. She smiles while walking in a circle around Esao. He seemed to favor a simple t-shirt and pants, but it still looked great on the Toa of fire. And the beanie was a nice touch."It looks great...but don't you think it's a bit cold to wear something like that?" she asks, curiously.-Mef Man

OOC: Naara and Hau from Le-Wahi. Assume that via BZPRPG Time, they were in and out of the inn before they came into contact with Sucogu.IC: "If I could start againA million miles awayI would keep myselfI would find a way..."He smirked slightly as the final notes faded into the air. A protosteel finger reached out and poked her abdomen playfully."You've been practicing. Hau think you're going soft?""The kid's too busy trying to turn electricity into something resembling art to care."Another smirk. "I guess it's time for another piece, then." A tablet filled with his scrawl fell into her hands. It was pocketed in seconds."Now, let's work on that stance..."Naara woke with a start. Her eyes flitted about the room warily. Something had touched the water slicks she set up; something had disturbed her defenses. And in doing so it wakened her from sleep. She found it soon enough. A curious rodent had ventured in and was slurping up drops of the liquid. No sapient being had stolen into the room.Naara just sighed and let the rat go. It was almost time for her to get up anyway, right before dawn. Her only displeasure was with the interruption of a dream visit to the casino and a certain Fe-Toa inside it.But that was part of her daily traveling routine. She got up, trained with the kid, breakfast, planned, moved halfway to next destination, lunch, moved to next destination, dinner, guitar practice, remembering Dorian, thinking about Dorian, and then dreaming about Dorian. The Ga-Toa had just rinsed and repeated for the past few days of trekking through the wahis. No matter how much Naara felt leaving him to be a mistake, she couldn't let the loss of her only chance at seeing him get to her.Yet today was different. Today the routine would be broken. Today they'd actually stay in one place. Maybe her situation would seriously change and she could finally dump the kid, maybe even go back to Kumu. That last thought still echoing in her head, she got up and stretched languidly in preparation for her coming exercise. The toa dressed briefly. Then Naara unlocked her door and headed for Hau's room.Much training and a quiet breakfast later, the two toa stepped out of the Ice Howl Inn and into Ko-Koro's ravaged streets. They walked almost next to each other. Hau was slightly behind and with confident grin as he looked for his 'master'; Naara was in front and with bored smirk. They started their search without a word.

IC(Amalod [Talking to Esao: Ko-Koro, Clothing Store])

"Get one that looks good, but isn't too flashy," Amalod suggests. "Something simple that will go good with your beanie," she adds. The Toa of water wasn't an expert in fashion by any means, but she thought that maybe this would be a good match for the Toa of fire. Why can't Nova talk to me like Esao or Krayzikk does?-Mef Man

IC:Ankt

The snow flew right into Ankt's eyes, blinding him. Reactions raced through Ankt's brain in a split second, and the Toa picked out the most logical one. Vielah had been targeting his head the most. The head was also his biggest weak point at the moment. All data pointed to the fact that Vielah would attack his head. The only data he didn't have was where she would attack from. So he did the most logical thing a person could do in said circumstances, he dropped to the ground, landing right on top of Verak's outstretched foot. Now, depending on how far Verak's foot was extended, this could either break his leg, or it could knock him off balance. "You're getting predictable Dark Knight." Ankt muttered, blinking the snow out of his eyes.

"I'll do it... If that is the choice of Stein's Gate!

I am the mad scientist, Hououin Kyouma!

Fooling the world is nothing to me!"

IC: NovaMorningOutside clothing store, Ko-KoroA gentle breeze sent snowflakes cascading through the air. Nova, hidden within his cloak, didn't notice.Thoughts chased themselves in his head. Well, one thought, at least: Amalod.Thinking of a girl was an alien action to Nova, one that felt faintly wrong. He shivered, but his shivering wasn't due to the cold. To quell his unease, he began walking in circles; his thoughts obstinately tagged along like pet Rahi and made him feel even worse.

IC: [Plagia Simul](Hostage Situation, ILS Group, Place of Shadows)I rolled my eyes. Just my luck to get stuck with the three people on this entire island who won't punch me."No offense or anything, sir," I began absent-mindedly brushing some snow off of my armour, "But right now, that's seeming like a really dull job."-Void

IC: "Yo, blue-armor bro! Wassup?"The Ta-Toa stopped and directed his gaze to the source of the sound. His eyes happened upon that very source in seconds."SWAG," Hau said with an easy grin and appreciative nod towards the cloak as he strode through the crowd to before the store. Naara slithered alongside the martial artist with a slight smirk. "But really, whatcha been up to? Karz, what's your name?," He continued. The Lightning toa suddenly swung forth a fist.It hung before the swordsman's own hands to be bumped. The speaker looked at Nova with another grin, sporting his teeth."I'm Hau. You?"

IC: MadrihkWith the sound back to normal levels again, and waiting for the reply from the hostage takers, Madrihk allowed himself a wry grin in Plagia's direction."I only said that we would not stab them in the back. I did not say anything about punching them in the face. They kidnapped Matoran from a ruined town - my hometown - and once the hostages are safe we're gonna show them why they shouldn't do that."He cleared his throat as if to make a point."But no repeat of what happened at Lake Pala recently, please. That was just messy."

IC - Sucogu - MountainsSucogu stood, hands at his hips, overlooking a cliff. A blizzard whipped at his face. He'd heard a Toa had fallen from this cliff. He couldn't say the prospect wasn't a bit inviting. He'd lost Kriigata. He'd lost Hau. All he had left was a group he had pulled together from ashes. How could he keep them together? He hardly even had their trust. Esao probably resented him for something by now. Krayzikk had been led from pain to even more pain in Sucogu's name. All the rest had been under similar circumstances. Sucogu would have to gain their trust or die trying to get it.Either way, it was time for things to begin. He headed back for the inn, brushing frost from his mask. Greeting the warmth of the building, he purchased an apple and sat down, picking up a news tablet.

IC: "Yep," Hau cut in before Naara could say anything. He grinned."Speaking of which, though I'd love to stay and chat, we're kinda looking for a former teacher there named Sucogu. Tall, red, more weapons than the Sanctum Guard," The toa said with yet another grin. "Ya seen him?

IC: Reordin (Ko-Koro)He was cold. Not in any physical sense; years ago, Reordin had, through a homecooked blend of continued Sanctum Guard training and natural Ko-Matoran resistance, steeled himself away from the soft gnawing of winter against his bones. No, this was that special, bitter kind of chill that gives your heart and your soul and your rational thinking such a freezer-burn that you could toss them all into a volcano and watch them stew, bubbling and frothing and steaming for hours on end, only to stare, fruitlessly and despondently, as they melted away and were consumed by the volcano. His home - his reason for existence - had been violated, taken at her moment of greatest weakness and crushed like an anthill by a Matoran's wayward food in the midst of a picnic. And what a picnic it was: the Nui-Rama hive had been obliterated, the Le-Wahi marsh finally removed from the black, oppressive, buzzing grip of Makuta's swarms, and their people - the Sanctum Guard - had played a role in it, leading a heroic, if fatal, charge into the farthest recesses of enemy territory. And at the helm had been their daring, maverick commander, a handsome, daring, young, ballsy, stupid lieutenant named Reordin.Entering the Wahi, Reordin knew he had twenty four deaths on his head: the lives of all his men, taken away from him by nature or nascent Rama during the final, doomed charge towards the Hive. Now, due to his own inactivity, his "administrative leave," he had the lives of how many Ko-Korans on his head? Dozens? Hundreds? Too many, as far as he was concerned. And what had he been told? Wait. Wait for the Wanderer. You can purge yourself of all the black that has drenched your soul like rainfall, letting the dawn of atonement pivot on its heel and dry all of your sins in its bask. Yeah, that sounded like a smashing idea.Reordin, however, voiced none of these thoughts out loud, made no real motions besides a steady patrol through Ko-Koro. And, since he had nothing better to do, he waited. But not for much longer.-Teezy

ICVerak's foot overshot it's mark as Ankt fell to the snowy, ground, and only his mask of fate allowed him to pull back his foot and prevent his lower leg from getting snapped in two. Sadly, there was a limit to the speed of his foot, and Ankt's metal body landing on it was fairly painful. The toa of stone growled. "Now that wasn't too kind, brother. I was just tryin' to speed up this fight, y'know?"

IC: ZZ walked through the snowy plains, unaware of his location...he didn't know who he was, what he was, or what this place was called. "Hello?" he called out to the barren frozen land, unaware the snow trapped his voice, preventing anyone from hearing, of they were near him, "Is there someone who can help?"

IC: ZZ kept walking, his body temperate dropping...he was getting colder and colder. "Someone?!" he cried louder. He could feel himself loosing strength.Keeping his pace, he eventually made it to Ko-Koro and walked towards it...hopefully there was a warm place there.

IC: Sahrea (Ko-Wahi, Ko-Koro)I held back a sigh, and tried to prevent myself from getting my point across with a point. Karz it was hard. Really hard, especially when the Matoran up for stabbing was my only way out of here. Well, not the only way, but still, I thought to myself, once again suppressing the urge to harm. I prefered not to draw attention to myself... Or have more then one person know I was here. Hence the fact that I was stuck with white-armored being infront of me.He said his name was Terop, Ko-Matoran hunter/tracker and guide. As well as having an ego the size of the mountain we were standing on. And unfortunately, I was stuck with him for the forseeable future. My name is Sahrea, and unfortunately, that's all I know. Amnesia, as Terop had called it, really sucks. The little bugger had found me unconscious in the middle of a snowbank, atleast, that what he claimed. I didn't wake up until some time later. Of course, after the Ko-Matoran had taken me to a hospital and all that good stuff. For some reason, it wasn't good. See, I've had this... urge, so to say, to keep out of sight and lay low. Why? Beats the heck outta me, but its distracting and makes sense for some reason.I shook myself out of these thoughts as I repeated what I had seemingly said a million times: "No, I do not want to see your "awards" or go into the drifts hunting or visit the Sanctum. I want to get out of here.""Are you suuuuure?" a voice that I was really getting tired of answered."Yes..." I replied to Terop, saying it slower so that he might understand me this time. There may had been something else in my voice, as the Ko-Matoran stopped asking and agreed to take me to Ta-Koro. Whatever the Karz that was. He said he had some things to attend to, and left me in the middle of the square to wait for him.OOC: Sehrea open for interaction.Bold is bolded.
