I'm aware of that topic's existence and have skimmed it every now and then; I enjoy memes a lot, but it's my personal opinion that there is a difference between whatever you call the winners of a caption contest and memes.  Of course, I don't feel too strongly about it, so I'll probably post some of the winners (the ones that feel the most like memes) in that topic when I find the time.
