Google Searchbar AI Overviews Of BZPers

Accidentally found out Google does this now. Was searching Google for a member for artgift reference. Anyone else creeped by the AI spying?

On the one hand, this is all public information that anyone could find and piece together. On the other hand... it's deeply creepy that there's a thing out there that can do a deep dive on any one of us in a few seconds. And that's not even accounting for anything it might get incorrect in doing this (especially given that anyone who's using Google AI summaries to learn about us is likely just going to take it all at face value and not question or confirm any of it).

Alas, some ripoff Chinese Amazon company stole my username and that's what Google thinks I am now, for better or worse.

But I had this problem in the past when I was playing Ingress, an AR game / capture the flag thing.  Other people were actively tracking my activity in the game (and locations IRL).  So basically, AI is bad but some internet creeps are always gonna creep.

Wow...New phobia unlocked.🫣Here's yours: 

I'm getting them to pop up by typing "bzpower [insert username]". If that doesn't work I try "bzpower [username] ai overview", or "bzpower member [username]". It doesn't work on 100% of members, though. Wonder how it chooses 🫣.

And interestingly, it incorrectly calls inactive/rarely spotted staff "retired" though that doesn't match their current rank.

EDIT: It works for Bohrok111, who hasn't even posted, and for my accounts on other forums.
