I just got back from Take Shelter, sort of a horror/drama about a man who's so convinced that an apocalyptic storm is coming that he obsesses over building a storm shelter. It was a very good movie. It's first and foremost a drama film, but the horror elements were well integrated into the story, providing appropriate tension and scares when necessary. And while I was initially skeptical about the ending, I now find it beautiful. The one problem is the pacing. I understand why it is the way it is, but some parts of the movie did drag a bit. It didn't bother me much (I certainly wasn't bored), but I could see an audience becoming quickly disinterested.

Fast and Furious 5 and Sucker Punch. Both great movies, although Sucker Punch felt like a sucker punch indeed.

Hocus Pocus. It was on the telly. Bette Midler was terrific, and I must say that, as beautiful as Sarah Jessica Parker is, I've never seen her quite as beautiful as she was in this movie.

the last movie i watched was real steel, and it was awesome

Life comes, and life goes, flowing like the tide.

Peace ebbs, and peace flows, often fleeting just like time.

Love can last, but only so, there isn't much before you die.

People pass, come to and fro. And eventually revenge too, doe lie.

For in the the end, it's only the vengent who lasts forever.

The Vengent Spectre.

Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon. Not bad, best fight scenes in the series I think. But the first one was still the best. Watching Lord of the Rings on the weekend though. Again :) Those are the some of the best movies ever. Along with Indiana Jones. And pirates of the Caribbean. MTL

In theaters, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. In class, weʻre watching Cinderella Man; a Boxing movie set during the Great Depression. Pretty good. - Darok

The Mask. When did Jim Carrey stop being funny and start making me want to punch things? I know it was after this movie, but how far after it?

We will remember - Skies may fade and stars may wane; we won't forget

And your light shines bright - yes so much brighter shine on

We will remember - Until the skies will fall we won't forget

We will remember

I watched V for Vendetta for the second time yesterday. It suffers just a bit from a slight excess of political correctness, but next to the its many virtues, this flaw is minor to the point of nonexistence. In short, a true masterpiece of a film.
