What's this "Store" tab that has appeared at the top of the forum? When I access it, a blank error message appears, so methinks it's not even supposed to be there.
Despite all the drama that has gone past and all the threats that disappeared, my teenage friend, who I mentioned I was taming in past entries, has not entirely come out of the woods. A month or so ago, my friend's school was holding a family day. My friend's parents were killed by a serial killer ten years before, so the constant reminders of his parents being dead were like daggers to his heart. That night he went to the local cemetery where his parents were buried. Another friend of his was
This is my long-awaited (albeit very rushed) Machop Christmas special. At last I have a pic of Machop showing off its strength like a Machop is supposed to. Too bad that humongous sack was surprisingly hard to draw...
I'm beginning to get tempted to change my avatar to a pic of Vezon to reflect my new low in sanity. But Machop is so cute! I can't find it in my heart to get rid of such an adorable avvie!
I finally got my Commander Keen 5 level editor working so I can create my own custom maps! So far all I've done is change the original so nearly all enemies are replaced with Shikadi and Shikadi Mines, and I added a Shikadi Master to every level.
Ever since my first year of TAFE, I've become prejudiced against gamers. Many gamers I've seen, both at TAFE and on online chat, are arrogant, pompous, ignorant and rude. Since I'm not as privileged as most gamers, I therefore struggle to get along with them. I am a peasant at best in the eyes of gamers. And to think I'm doing a game development course at TAFE next year! :/
So, I had business at two TAFE campuses, which kept me busy all day today. First, I had to go to a campus at Cranbourne, where I enrolled for the Games course I applied for. It looks like I'll be guaranteed to get in once I pay next year! As an added bonus, a friend from a past course also enrolled! :D Second, I had to visit the Dandenong campus because I think I failed this year's course. I have to return there next month to discuss it with my instructor, as the incident that caused this
You've got to eat your vegetables! Do you hear me? You've got to eat your vegetables! Tell him, daddy. You've got to eat your vegetables! NOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!!!!! You've got to eat your vegetables! Na na na na naa naa! Anyone who knows where I got this from gets a cookie, and the cookies I have here are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
I have a very bad habit of exaggerating. When I can't do something, regardless of reason, and I don't like it, I claim that I'm completely banned from doing it. I know I'm not really banned in most cases, and contrary to popular belief I do know what the word "banned" means, but that's just what I'm like, taking things way too far out of context. That's me being me. That is why I often say Bionicle is banned, just because I can't have it and I feel I did something wrong and got punished. I onc
Unlike the majority of BZPers, I'm actually beginning to grow tired of the My Little Pony meme. I believe this meme has gotten so out of hand that everyone is favouring it over Bionicle, and I'm concerned. If this keeps up, I fear it will seal Bionicle's fate as a dead toyline, and it will never come back because no-one else is interested in it anymore.
I've had a big week as of late. Visiting my nan on Thursday, taking the train to Sandringham on Friday, visiting my nan for a Christmas party on Saturday and going to a meetup with some online friends on Sunday. Now I'm so exhausted that I can barely think!
I'm growing tempted to return to B/S/T, so I can finish Project: Rahkshi and Project: Matoran. However, I've yet to do any Christmas shopping, and I haven't sorted out my finances. It's hard.
Everyone says that the 2006+ sets are brittle and break at the shortest notice. Well, I have a story that proves that wrong: I have all my Skrall sets, including Tuma and Stronius, lined up on the floor in one corner of my room because I have an imagination. Last night, don't ask me how, but I lost my balance and fell on them, my hand knocking Stronius down. Panicked, I looked Stronius over twice to see if he was cracked, but found nothing! Furthermore, I later found a cut on my wrist which mu
...you go on a wiki to look for something, get distracted by something on the main page, and then completely forget why you went on the wiki in the first place!
So, today I went down the Sandringham line for my nostalgia trip. The first thing I did was stop at Elsternwick and watch the Puss In Boots movie. The movie's story was great, however it had no ties whatsoever with the Shrek series it spawned from. Afterwards I went next door to have lunch, but it was closed! No longer is it the Sinatras that I used to love as a kid; it appears to have become a night club! It wasn't even going to open until 3:30pm! I then went to nearby Elwood and paid my
Okay, I give up. A friend of mine made this proposal on LEGO CUUSOO, and I thought you guys might be interested in it: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/5560
Apparently Rayman Origins is only for the Wii, XBox and PS3. I have a Wii, but I seldom get the chance to play it because it's in the family room, and getting in the way of my father is a sin punishable by death. If it was for the PC like its predecessors, I'd be able to get it. But it's not, and that alone is an epic fail.
You may have noticed that my activity has dropped in the blogs lately. That's because I've run out of stories to discuss! There will definitely be more in the future, rest assured of that. I just wish I could still post as often as I used to.
Last night I went to an information session at TAFE, at the campus I'll be doing my next course. I was the only student who attended! :/ I guess that's what happens when you only get 6 hours notice... The session went anyway, revealing that my course is now a dual award: Cert IV in Digital Interactive Games, and Cert IV in Digital Media Technologies! This means I can get 2 qualifications at the same price if I want to. Plus, the dual award course has a lot in common with the Websites course
Well, I had the honour of taking the regional diesel out of the Metro Area at last, taking it to Warragul! The trip was definitely exciting in its own right, but surprisingly it wasn't as exciting as going on the diesel rail-car. I'd say it's because these trains were run very similar to the electric Metro trains I'm so used to. I didn't do much at Warragul: just had a big lunch, did a lot of aimless walking around, that's about it. The trip itself, however, was quite long. For the first
Well, I finally finished and handed in my last assignment for TAFE. I'd show the site here, but BZPower would never allow it because of a few links and many videos on it. Now that I am FREE, I will celebrate tomorrow by taking a diesel trip to Warragul!
I've decided on my next train trip. Tomorrow week, I will travel down the Sandringham line, which was the nearest line to where my late grandmother used to live. Then I will come back to Elsternwick and watch the Puss in Boots movie at the theatre there, where I always watched movies with my grandmother back in the day. Finally, I will walk down to her old home and pay my respects to her and her town.
