  1. I've asked that question myself, especially since I think TLG still has the rights to that name.
  2. I was messing around with the CCBS parts and I came up with this creature. http://imgur.com/a/Oghvg I thought of him being a creature from another island or an ancient warrior of Okoto with the ability to run at super-sonic speeds. He'd probably act like an evil Quicksilver, I don't have much of a character fleshed out for him. I imagine him running at high-speed and disemboweling his enemies.
  3. I just finished reading through the entire topic and I still don't understand the current focus
  4. I'd write it with style! I would probably handle the story the same way the current team is doing it, but I would try to focus a bit more on the Skull Spiders. I know there's no room for this in the animations, but in the books I'd have Lewa be taken-over by a Skull Spider on his quest for his gold mask and fight the Protector of Jungle. Later, during the fight with LOSS, I'd have the Toa lured into a maze where LOSS begins picking them off one by one. Something slightly more threatening than how he is currently portrayed.
  5. These guys are terrible. I should know
  6. Very nice! I like how you did the spine.
  7. Pythor always seems like he's cooking-up some master-plan to conquer the world. He's just enjoyable to watch on the show. Master Chen is hilarious! His obsession with traps just makes him all the more loveable, but I prefer Pythor.
  8. Absorption, hands down. It;s like Mimic's power, except you need to make contact with a friend or foe. Plus, you get to keep any power you've previously copied.
  9. I should be more active here.

  10. IC: Arxtann grasped the grip of his sword tightly. So far as he could tell, he was surrounded by strangers. Albeit most were Toa, but some were Rahkshi. He'd had bad experiences with Rahkshi.
  11. Welp, back to the drawing board then. The Answer won't work here. Name: Arxtann Species: Toa of Fire Power/Weapon 1: Fire Greatsword through which he can channel his elemental power for greater effect. Power/Weapon 2: Advanced control over the element of fire. Though he is not as powerful as other Toa of the same element, he wields a level of control that few can claim to have. As such, he tends to use it in creative ways. Appearance: At this point in time, Arxtann wears a battered Calix shaped like Lhikan's Hau. His armor is trans-orange, Metru red, and Brutaka gold. He has the Metru-build. Bio: Arxtann was a Matoran of Metru-Nui (and subsquently Mata Nui) who, through an experiment, was transformed into a Toa by being exposed to elemental fire energy (just like a Silver Age superhero ). Needless to say, he had some adventures during the Reign of Shadows and ended up on Spherus Magna. Personality/Other: Arxtann has learned much in the span of a few months. He had to in order to survive Teridax's take-over and the subsequent battle of Bara Magna. Though he is young, he is wiser than most of his fire-brothers, trying his best not to give in to the hot-headed temper his kind are known for. However when angered, he becomes hard to reason with and lashes out without regard to who may be around him. But most of the time he's a nice guy. Just don't give him hard puzzles to solve unless you want to wait a few million years. Is this one better?
  12. @Anung Un Rama That works. Although, just how would you limit it? I've RPed with this character before and normally there hasn't been any problems.
  13. @Anung Un Rama I can easily tone-down the references he makes, and I can limit the adaptive factor more, but if I take it away I have to enter a new character
  14. Well, my first RPG on BZP. I hope this goes well Name: Unknown, goes by The Answer Species: One of the nameless races from the Southern Islands in the GSR. Power/Weapon 1: A staff that generates an energy that disrupts the nervous systems of most beings. However it has no effect on Makuta. Power/Weapon 2: (How to explain this) The Answer's power is his ability to adapt to any situation or battle. If he was falling off a cliff, his body would increase its durability to survive the fall. If someone threw a punch using the power of the Kakama, his body would increase its speed, allowing The Answer to dodge and counterattack. His power is being the answer to every attack (thus the name, get it? ) This adaptive factor also comes with the ability to super-heal. Stab him and falls on his back and cries (but he's actually fine), shoot him and the bullet bounces off (after which he claims he's the Man of Steel), mangle him and his limbs will return to their normal position. However there are limits to this adaptive-ability. He cannot fly, develop vision attacks, or suddenly sprout extra limbs; neither does any of his attributes he gained in a battle last more than an hour afterwards. And if his head is fatally damaged, he will not recover. Power/Weapon 3: He possesses this "answer-sense" which is used for nothing more than comic effect. Appearance: A silver bohrok-va head with dark-blue eyes, lean form covered in silver and grey armor. Bio: The Answer is a being of mysterious mysteries. His enemies say that he crawled from some forgotten scum-pond and decided to destroy the world with terrible puns, while The Answer claims that the Great Beings sent him as Mata Nui's blessing to the world. Wherever he came from, be it slime or the heavens, The Answer was inducted into the Dark Hunters for his "skills" and subsequently proceeded to make himself a thorn in the side of The Shadowed One. However, he only failed one mission and has been allowed to live so long as he does not fail another. He has managed to survive long enough to see Spherus Magna reformed, however there is no telling when his last day will be. Personality/Other: To sum it up what I'm about to type, The Answer is a jerk of the highest order. He not only fights with his fists, but also biting, sarcastic wit. His speech is filled with insults, self-praise, and jargon that he should have no idea about (he does JFK impersonations without him knowing how he can do it). He fears none but The Shadowed One, much to the chagrin of his rogues gallery, and constantly reminds his fellows of it. Along with his innate hubris, The Answer also values money above most things, his greed being his downfall on many occasions. Nevertheless, despite being a lying cheat, he has a few redeeming qualities. If you know of any, please tell me, as I would love to know So, does this work? Do I need to edit anything? Edit: I forgot to mention that his powers are natural abilities possessed by his race.
  15. I have one side pic that I'll give now. http://imgur.com/byiy8p9 I think that one works.
  16. I was messing around with some Protectors yesterday and I got this little guy out of it. http://board.ttvpodcast.com/uploads/db5640/11711/0729b04c143dd1c9.JPG So the Skull Shaman is a quirky little fellow. He was once just a normal villager of Okoto before becoming obsessed with necromancy and otherworldly things. Nowadays he lurks deep in the Region of Jungle, practicing dark magic and forbidden spells. Unfortunately most of his work turns to naught. So he kills time by acting as a healer of the sick and giver of advice. However with the advent of the Skull Spiders, the Skull Shaman has become obsessed with finding a way to control the hordes. Perhaps the fabled Golden Mask of Skull Spiders holds the key... Wadda ya' think? Edit: Image linked; please keep posted images to around 640x640 pixels in BBC. -Wind-
  17. This is really cool! Neat idea.
  18. Looks like something from, well, Karzahni. I love that Olisi. Great job.
  19. The last one I opened was this year actually. My sister got me Pahrak-Va for my birthday, in-the-box at that.
  20. I plan on getting Onua, Tahu, and Kopaka at once, but I'll stick with my tradition of opening and building the fire guy first.
  21. After days of labor, I give you my entry. Link to image gallery. http://imgur.com/a/uG9ut On the island of Okoto, tales are told of a being that stalks the twilight. The village elders name him, Nox, the thief of the night. The legends say that he comes when the mind is most vulnerable, after a great loss, or a great triumph. His presence is heralded by a chill air and a shiver in the spirit, then all light is extinguished. As a vampire feeds on blood, the creature feeds on the strong emotions given off by others, leaving his victims empty, and without purpose. In the past, hunts have been made in search of the devil, but all have been futile. However one hunter was able to come within view of the monster, describing it as a hideous amalgamtion that seemed to be ripping itself in two. He said that the right side of the body resembled the Mask Makers, but the left glowed blue with a terrible energy. He described the monster's words, how it hated itself and wished to depart in peace. With every step, it seemed to fade in and out of reality, only the right side keeping it anchored in the world. The hunter could not bring himself to end the creature, and departed shocked at what he had witnessed. But perhaps these are just fables and there is no Thief of the Night. However I am inclined to think otherwise. So yeah, spooky description
