This heirloom has been passed down the #0579 family for GENERATIONS!

The series started as a light novel, which is basically just a fancy term for a serialized novel with a few pieces of art here and there. There are translations of some of them online, and an official English release just started. I haven't read them, so I can't compare. It looks like there are some manga adaptations as well, but again, I haven't read them so I can't compare.

I'd also like to recommend the Kingdom Key and Honedge. They're pretty neat.

I believe the light novel did have a chapter where Kirito (in his SAO avatar) fought Silver Crow, but there was no winner, if I recall correctly. I haven't heard anything about them doing an episode out of it--if they do, I hope they would expand it a bit, because I'm not so sure that one thing is enough to make an entire episode.

*sobs endlessly over Clannad
and then rages about the terrible last episode*Well, you may be interested in Accel World also--same author as SAO, so it has some of the same issues, but I find that it's less disjointed than Aincrad, and I find the concept a lot more interesting. MMO software that lets a person alter their perception of time in the real world and then play as a fighting robot with powers determined by their mental trauma hooked me before I had a chance to resist.

Oddly enough, I actually liked Alfheim (in part) better than the Aincrad arc: I felt like Aincrad kept jumping too much, and the whole thing felt so disjointed that the continuous nature of Alfheim felt like a relief. Though parts of it are definitely messed up. So, so messed up...
I like the show more for its concept than its actual execution--I don't entirely understand how it's as popular as it is, but...eh. It's something to watch.

Book 2 was pretty much a let-down, so I'm hoping Book 3 will be better. What we've seen thus far doesn't really tell us anything about the plot, so as interesting and actiony as it may look, I think I'm going to hold off on deciding how optimistic I'm going to be going into it.
But, like...what's with all the new airbenders?

Sorry about that--I meant to by having Light say that Riniyon's attack was in her previous lifetime, but maybe I should make it clearer. He definitely looks a lot older at this point in time, so hopefully seeing him interact with Light again will clear up any confusion.

What do you mean? The prologue happened many years before this. Unless you mean the example of Light's powers makes the reader feel like the same thing is going to happen again? I can see that--I tried to lessen it a bit by saying that Riniyon has escaped multiple times in the past, but maybe it's inevitable. Still, what I'm planning might come as a surprise...

It's pretty cool, but I already trained the event Torchic in Y, so I want to try out something else. I know I've trained a Mudkip before , but my memories of those days are very hazy...

So what you're saying is...you can see the future?

This really is a brilliant expansion of Smash's concept--the whole point is to bring in tons of characters from different series, and now you can bring in practically any character from any series. Sure, their powers and such will be a little different than the source, but it still throws wide open the door to crossover brain food.
I should probably pre-order this before it sells out.

She's a character from the series Steins;Gate. Technically, her name isn't actually Christina, but it's fun to call her that.

It was Colossal Con in Sandusky, Ohio.

It's totally awesome! This is the first Figma I've purchased, so I don't know how to compare it to others, but she has a lot of articulation and is very well-made. I have been having a few frustrations, but that might just be my inexperience with Figma.
Update: she can't fit into the Exo-Toa with the lab coat. The regular version might be a perfect fit, though.

Yes, Warzone will be in its own topic.
-
Steins;Gate is my current favorite, and I'm just starting Attack on Titan, which seems interesting so far.

I haven't watched Brotherhood, but I did read the FMA manga, and I really enjoyed it. I have seen a lot of Hetalia, though--definitely bizarre, but eh. I might look into these others, thanks for the recommendations!

Eh, long doesn't really bother me unless it means "drawn out". I think I may be able to handle One Piece. I read the first few arcs and am getting back into the anime thanks to Toonami, so I think I'm going to skim my way through until I'm caught up. Not the way I'd prefer to do it, but I don't really have the time to do it the right way.

Yes, each fighter gets a bonus point.
-
You will have one week to reclaim your fighters when Warzone opens. You'll also be given an extra stat point for starting customization.

Barbaracle is pretty nice actually. It's a little fragile as a Binacle, but if you stick with it, it'll get pretty solid and pretty strong once it evolves. It might be a while before you get a move you like for it, though, and I don't know how diverse its movepool is since I just stuck with the same handful for most of the game. I think it has some lacking special stats, but Nocturn still hits darn hard with Surf. There's also Razor Shell. Razor Shell is nice.

Mmm..."unquestionably" good sounds a bit much. She does come across as immature at times, and I don't want to hold her up as having absolute moral authority or anything. That'd be too idealized and boring.
I think I'll leave her as is--maybe a little different, since she'll be in a different body for most of the story, but if this is the impression her basic essence leaves, then I'm cool with that.

Like dotcom said, the Figma comes with interchangeable faces: in this case, the scowl, the smile, and a concerned expression I haven't photographed yet.
And yeah, Christina might not be the maddest scientist, but...she has her moments.
