So who's the vampire-looking guy next to Vader?

I remember it! It was probably the best Lego game, although not really related to the Spybot line at all.
I remember taking forever to carefully beat the final level by using the Bit Man unit that could create/destroy new map squares to create tons of extra squares at the edge of the map, and I believe a Wizard to increase the maximum size/health of itself and my other units by a ridiculous amount until I had nigh-unkillable Stone Golems that beat up the final boss and enemies.I loved that game. Could never quite finish it, though. The last two or so levels proved insurmountable.

Already made that joke.
They'll have Mace Windu as a special guest to help out with that part.
you say that like you don't want ten Jango heads for your various Jango-themed MOC purposes. :bHoo boy. I'd join, but I know it's going to be luck of the draw getting the pieces I guarantee most people (including myself) would be joining to get: those sand blue shells. Not sure if I want to chance it.

That's actually a really tough question. Does saying "all of the Yuuzhan Vong" count?

In what sense of complexity? The Kolmogorov complexity of a fractal is pretty low due to its recursive nature.Fractals are structures that exhibit self-similarity, are determined by a simple set of rules, and have infinite complexity.

I'm kind of in the same situation with a story of my own (The Lone and Level Sands *coughshamelessplugcough*), which I began in 2011, and off-and-on wrote on until I got into a groove of consistently writing summer 2012, when I also started posting the story to BZP. Then that September I started college, and soon activity on the story died. During my breaks between quarters I'd mainly spend time with family and do other things like MOCing, and never really got back to it except for writing some more the summers of 2013 and 2014 (one such chapter I posted in 2014).
As of now I keep thinking about how I need to finish it, but I never can summon the motivation to do so when I have time. Ugh...
Anyway, you may or may not remember me gushing about The Shadow and the Sea. I loved that story, and would love to read the sequel, but unfortunately this quarter I've got some tough classes (shakes fist at Programming Languages course) and also am simultaneously doing grad school apps, so I don't think I'd be able to beta-read it like I did for Echoes. Still, I'll definitely love to read the sequel when (not if!) you finish it.

The nine limbs are a compromise between 8 and 10.

So this comment is a few days late, but hey, school picking back up and whatnot.
Sorry to hear California wasn't the place for you. I've never lived in another state, so I don't exactly have any other points of reference. (I thought people just universally drove terribly, and didn't know it's mainly a CA thing.)
You should totally make that trip to UCLA you mentioned in those two weeks before you go! Unless you already were by here and I somehow missed it.

This happened years ago, with the closing if the topic Lyichir made that post in being just a further example of it.However, when S&T becomes a place where one taste-opinion is treated as "fact" with no dissent allowed, that's the day I will leave S&T.

This definitely happened to me when I attended in 2012 (well, less being afraid of older members and a lot more from introvertedness). And, let's be honest, it's not like I talked tremendously with the younger members either. The fact that I was bothered by a leg injury I had just inflicted on myself didn't help. I sure regret not talking more to people now, since I don't know if I'll be able to attend Brickfair again for a while. At least if I go again I should be marginally more sociable. Hopefully.I'll admit that, in previous years, it was a combination of being terrified of Staff/older members and social anxiety/introvertedness that led me to gravitate towards the younger members, while I let chances to interact and be better friends with some of the older members pass by.
I really wish there were a convention in LA...

And here I was getting ready to talk about that compression program, which uses the interesting Burrows-Wheeler Transform, and...
Okay maybe I need to get outside more.

I've actually had joints just fracture slightly, and still retain enough clutch in the fractured area to still be usable on MOCs. It's nice when things aren't rendered instantly unusable by damage.
Conversely, I also had a yellow arm piece from Mata Nui break on all four sides of its cups, in the most extensive damage to one piece I've seen.

As long as you didn't challenge it to arm wrestle...

I didn't even know this was possible! I thought those huge Nuva torsos were indestructible chunks! And you were only seven?I once bought a Pohatu Nuva but I somehow managed to crack the torso in half within five minutes. I was 7.

*sees MH3U listed*
Good, good. Everything else is secondary.
Actually, though, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is an amazing platformer and really worth getting.

You should check out Monster Hunter! Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is on the Wii U and 3DS, and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is on the 3DS.
It's a completely cooperative game if you deal with groups at all, and overall it presents an extremely rewarding experience, especially if you solo your way through a game. It's also not very violent; mainly people swinging giant fantasy weapons around with only a small amount of blood effects (which can be turned off, I believe).
But yeah, overall incredibly deep yet challenging gameplay make Monster Hunter a favorite of mine. I can't recommend it enough.
(Fair warning, once you get hooked it may devour your life. )

What about "Frowned Upon by Hapori Tohu"?

It's been long enough for me that I'd forgotten Temple of Doom even was a prequel, so definitely agreed about that hardly qualifying as one.As for the prequel you're looking for, Temple of Doom is a prequel to Raiders of the Lost Ark. It's tensions are completely independent of everything that came from the previous film.
I've always found it hard to think of Temple of Doom as a functioning prequel. It could easily have been set after Raiders of the Lost Ark with little-to-no change in plot, not to mention that it doesn't really delve into the backstory of Raiders characters aside from Indy.
I mean, we know that Indy survives, but we kind of expect that of the main character.

Public ignorance of science is hardly something that we're not allowed to discuss. And the discussion here is solely about that and dinosaurs, so I don't see the relevance of that comment.
That's because it fringes on other subjects we're not allowed to discuss.Man, talking about dinosaurs on the blogs of a message board for a renewed children's toy line is serious business.

I'm pretty sure that second bullet is just about every action movie ever, so definitely a cliche after all.

Actually, my second question was going to be if you were using Lucina. She's a pretty awesome character, although admittedly I'm biased because Marth is my favorite.

Well, I hope you do enjoy it! Smash is the only fighting game I've played as well, and I had countless hours of fun in Brawl regardless (not as much of SSB4 yet because I'm away from my Wii U).
I bet Yoshi's your favorite character, huh?
