Some neat stuff! I'm interested to see in what direction you'll take the dragon head. The added teeth are nice too.

Personally, I think Hahli could use some lime, as it was one of her colors after all. The insectoid wings look good, though. I'm reminded of ToM's version, which I really liked.

Btw, are you on Flickr? Your photos appear to be from Brickshelf, but Flickr has a great Lego community (and of course lets you keep up to date on what people are posting much more easily).

Are you familiar with the webcomic Girl Genius? As you may expect from the name, it has a strong female protagonist, and a bunch of other strong female main characters in many various roles, which is one of the many reasons why it's so enjoyable to read.

If you get it you should expect AWESOMENESS. Because Monster Hunter is a very cool series, and there are a lot of new features in MH4U.

Just be aware that it's not a series that works too well with demos, given that you kind of need to build up an understanding of how the various items and weapons especially function from playing the game from the begining, and the demos just kind of dump a ton of things in your face in a way that isn't too representative of the game.

You have my sympathies. I'm terrible with needles, and while I've never had to give blood I've almost passed out from just having my finger pricked. I imagine I would completely pass out if I actually were to have to give blood.

"bonkles" was a term coined by BZP member Dokuma (not sure on the specifics of that) and then a few years back, some friends and I started using it on a LEGO blog we run.

that's the history of the term as I understand it, anyway.

I have mainly seen it used around BZP, so that makes sense. The folks on Flickr seem to use barnacles a lot more.
