  1. I'm glad things are going better! Anxiety really sucks.

Thanks, and yeah, it really does :<

Good to hear that things are improving for you ^^

    thanks! me too ^^'

Anxiety sucks hardcore, so it's good to hear things are better!

    true. thank you!

Yeah, Anxiety really sucks. Unfortunately for me, I find it's about the only motivator I have that will get me to stop procrastinating about something above all else... Glad to hear your handling things pretty well, Taka.  :)

I've never watched buffy, but my mom watched all the seasons a little while back and she seemed to like the entire thing, so hopefully that means the rest of the episodes will be good for you too :P

Sadly in my case it sometimes surpasses "motivating" and becomes utterly paralyzing instead... but yeah, currently things are going a bit better again. And thank you.

    I hope so too xD

  2. Hello there! I'd also love to make a request, if it's okay.

I'd really love to see what my character would look like drawn in your style. (reference image for the current design: body ref/face ref, colour scheme is still gold/black, with red as accent colour.)

You don't have to stick to the ref too closely, though. ^^ Background's up to your choosing as well.

  3. Happy to hear things are looking better.

Hopefully this means you'll post some more art sometime soon? :3

    - :burnmad:

    me too ^^

And hopefully, indeed! One thing is already up as of now, maybe I can sorta keep it up this time...

    DRAW ALL THE THINGS!

    -five seconds later-

    THIS WAS A MISTAKE!

always. :< unless it is one of those blessed days where "the flow" finds me and I still like the results a few days later, which normally happens... twice a year? xD

I hope you'll get at least some needed rest ^^

    thanks :3

  4.

Sorry to hear that happened to you. Did the professor ask it in a particularly snotty way, or was it just something that you were completely unprepared for, causing you to panic?

Either way, that really sucks, hope it goes better next time.

(Also, I must confess: I'm interested to know what, exactly, the question was?)

More of the latter, I presume. Telling the whole story would probably take too long, but it was more the problem that to illustrate my point, I used a word that is actually tied to some very specific concept already, and I could not make it clear that I meant something completely different. (on an 'it would be funny if it weren't so sad' side-note: the word was 'balloon'. Really.)

Anyway, frustration about not getting my point across turned to panic somehow.

And thank you for the kind words and internet hug. :3

I'm sorry to hear that. Giving presentations tends to suck in general and they are worse when you aren't prepared for advanced questions. It's not your fault that the subject of ypur presentation wasn't directly in your field though, and it isn't anything you should beat yourself up over.

But try not to worry too much. Trust me, one day you'll look back at this and laugh it off (or roll your eyes sarcastically and slightly cringe) and it will all be okay.

But in the meantime, Internet hugs. ♡♡♡

thanks. yeah that certainly did not help with me feeling secure about what I was going to talk about. :/

Hopefully, yes. Or it will suddenly pop up when I am trying to fall asleep ("Remember that time you had to halt the presentation because you had to start crying? Wasn't that EMBARASSING?") ._.

    +1 internet hug

As someone who has taken Option A previously I know situations like this are a very unique brand of horror that are hard to see beyond.  I found going back to be much smoother than I thought it would be, so I’ll echo Tekulo and say don’t worry too much.  Overthinking it is just going to make it seem way worse than it actually was!

"a unique brand of horror" indeed. :/

    And you're right.

*tries to be considerate and give internet hug*

*ends up crushing computer monitor and cnat' tlel wath eh's slpeling(

    cute. thanks.

     :>

I understand, having done my time in academia. I understand the devastation, but hope you can find compassion and understanding from yourself others. I'm not quite sure how to put it, but, I've been there. [offers a hug]

    Thank you *hugs*

  5. I normally take care of buying gifts during August. I was late this year and did that this past November.

Yeah but I rarely ever buy gifts, normally everything is hand-made (after all, most if all of my gifts go to family members, anyway...) plus, I hate getting things in advance - who knows if they might buy it for themselves in the meantime? D:

Nice. I've still got to revise a paper and take two finals this semester before I'll be done.

Say, Taka, I don't know if I've asked before, but: What are you studying at uni? Also, what year are you in?

    - :burnmad:

Best of luck with your finals, and that paper! :3

Physics! Master's progamme at this point. Overall that's the 9th semester, but the 2nd in the Master programme. :3 You?

  6. You got this. :D Just look past the crowd when talking to them and change head directions every now and then. It helps a little. You are not alone in this, I don't like crowds either.

    thanks :3

Do you wanna build a snowman? Or ride a bike down the hall?

anyway, best of luck for tomorrow :)

the latter. then again, I haven't built a snowman in ages... o.o

    (thanks!)

What's the fastest part of a snail?

the nervous system, I guess? o.o

What is the location of a 2x2 LEGO brick that goes by the name Samantha?

Well, the last time I checked she was not in my basement. So there's that :)

What is your favorite Kanohi Mask?

    The Avohkii, if that counts

do farm animals come to you in your sleep and whisper "I want to take high-resolution pictures of tuna" into your sock drawer

only if I leave the window open :<
