  1.

Welcome to the "I feel old in my early twenties" club!

We have music played at a moderate level, but not so low you have to strain your ears to hear the music. There's chips and pop and salsa and lemonade and water: so, you know, go nuts. Also we play board games and just chat and swap funny stories.

I feel like you're being sarcastic, but you actually just described my ideal party.

Now pass me some of those chips.

... I have to agree with that as well.

  2. There and back again: a Quantum tale by Schroedinger's Visorak!

    aww. ^^

Dang. Is that every day, just Wednesday, or what?

more or less every day, but only for ~3 weeks. but it's fun! ^^

Two hour round trip to get to and from uni? Eww....

well, maybe I mis-worded that; it takes one hour for each direction, so two in total. Sorry if I was a bit unclear.

  3. It's... SO CUTE! And dangerous. But mostly the cute thing.

Yay! And yes, the Visorak are adorable. Glad this one is cute, too.

I like the black and white version in your avatar. The contrast of the shading comes out really nicely there that isn't quite the same as the green-on-tan here. I especially like its eye, personally.

Well, the contrast in the avatar was fiddled with, though. The green and tan is the original version. But thanks! And yes, IMO the eye is the best part. ^^

  4. Yaaaaaay visorak! ^^

Yay indeed. The Visorak were the most adorable little villains ever.:3

I actually snickered when I saw the name.

yay! then it served its purpose properly.

    you shoulda been a medic.

do I really have to advertise the fact that I am normally a lousy medic? :c

  5. Looks like Electromagnetism, yes? The first time I did E&M, it was not very intuitive and challenging to grasp (though I had already taken quantum mechanics, which helped with the math a bit).

"Only" Electrostatics, as far as the test was concerned, but yes.

As for it being not very intuitive, I don't know, some concepts definitely make sense (mostly stuff like mirror charges - although I actually made a few stupid mistakes regarding those, but discussing things with the lecturer afterwards definitely cleared things up. ) while others are super confusing, :/

  6. Couldn't you find an even smaller size for the terms and conditions? I had a hard time struggling to decipher them ("what do you mean, zoom in? That would not be a challenge anymore!"). :D

    Anyway, what about...

    Pulsating Non-Edible

    Cringing Pulse

    Pulsation of Doom

(I know these aren't creative. At all. =D)

  7. I see you're starting to flesh out the stickmen a bit, which is good. The second link contains some kind of gesture drawings, right? :]

Either way, I'd love to see some slightly more 'progressed' (i.e., furtherly detailed) sketches because they make it a bit easier (also for yourself!) to identify areas of progress. For example, maybe choose a gesture/pose you like and elaborate it a bit, turning it into a person, maybe even add clothes; go to the limit of your current skills - and a step further. Keep challenging yourself! =D

But it seems you're on the right track; the proportions already seem a lot better in the second link. :)

  8. That moment when you scratch that rash to the point where it starts bleeding and you need a band-aid... 'Tis a vicious cycle.

    Yeeeaaaaaah xD

though I did buy some extra-sensitive band-aids yesterday, hoping these might do the trick in the future c:

This is why I keep gauze and wrap in the house. I'm allergic to certain adhesives too

Oh dear. :| But yeah, that's probably a good idea, then.
