2015 and 2016 Tahu's Masks of Fire, 2015 and 2016 Lewa's Masks of Jungle, 2015 and 2016 Onua's Masks of Earth, Mask of Creation, Mask of Control, and Kulta's mask.

The basic Protector mask has such interesting character and design. It's one of the few gender neutral mask in appearance.

 

My second favorite is the Skull bull mask.

Again great character.

I second that, and Kulka's mask too, there's something about scary masks that are really fun. (I just had a thought that Kulka's mask could be the great version of the mask of undeath in G1! Time to start MOCing again!)

 

I also loved Tahu's mask of Fire, it was nicely similar to the original Hau, but was different enough to be cool in its own way.

The Protector Mask, Lewa's Uniter Mask, and Kopaka's Uniter Mask are all good-looking masks. Pohatu's Master Mask is also good-looking.

 

But ultimately, it just hast to be the Protector Mask. It's so simple and good-looking and comes in seven different blends.

G2 honestly had excellent masks. I'm partial to the gold uniter masks, I'm not generally the biggest fan of dual injection but they really look fantastic and the nuva symbols is a very nice touch. The Mask of Creation is also a really successful design with how ancient and regal it looks.

I like Gali's 2015 mask a lot, but Pohatu's and Lewa's 2016 masks are probably tied for my favorite.  They're all great masks though, and some of them look better on certain sets than others, but looking only at the masks, those are my favorites.

My favorite is the Mask of Water. The Unity Mask of Jungle is also pretty awesome.

The mask of creation looks exactly like what I always pictured Artakha's mask in G1 to look like, so it has great MOC value for me. The Unity mask of ice is pretty slick (no pun intended) as well. Just because of the rarity and colouration, the trans orange promo mask of fire is just that: fire.
