She supposedly learned her lesson about some friends wanting to be left alone, but is still shown harassing Cranky and Matilda at the end.It would have been interesting to see a moral that said that not everyone will want to be your friend, and that you don't have to be liked by literally everyone. I think that was done to make Cranky stand out and show a bit of his character. Plus I don't think Cranky looked ugly, he looked good in the flashback. That's just me though. I'm also a little bothered by the whole "smile!" thing, just because when I was younger I had plenty of people telling me I should smile more often (heh, now when I hear those words I immediately think of the Joker). It wasn't like I was grimacing or angry, I just wasn't smiling constantly. It's an idea that's got its heart in the right place but is way too easy to abuse.But hey, I didn't love this episode for the moral. I loved this episode for Pinkie. Party of One aired on April 29th, while Pinkie said that her birthday was in 75 days (April 3rd) during this episode. I can't tell if you're being serious or not.Honestly, I was so sleep-deprived when I wrote that that even I'm not sure whether or not I was being serious... On the subject of the moral, I think that children already have a tendency to label unfriendly people as antisocial ogres, so showing them that even genuinely nice people might not like attention could be a nice change of pace. But I agree that Pinkie gets away with way too much in this episode, similar to Rarity in "Sweet and Elite."
