IC:Nightingale...Kohra woke up with a start. The word that seemed to have been whispered in her ear lingered in her mind for several moments. The Vortixx blinked, slightly confused and started to sit up, holding her good hand to her temple. She hadn't heard that name in an eternity...but where? She strained her mind to access the memory, but no matter how hard she concentrated, there was a barrier she was unable to cross. She could remember as far back as her first time waking up on this island...and that was it. She wanted to ask her master about it, but the dark presence in the back of her mind was minimal at best. His attention was clearly focused elsewhere.Kohra sighed and tried to focus on the present again and to leave these random memories behind her. They were of no importance right now, if at all; and she was still a fugitive from the law, even if the law had almost no clue as to who she really was.The vortixx removed the makeshift cover of her hidden resting-place. The boat she was on was still anchored to the pier and so she quietly slipped out of the little nest she had made for the night and climbed out of the boat. In the light of day she could now see that the boat was not even ready to set sail anytime soon. It was probably just used for storing goods and not meant to carry them to the islets or other villages itself. Her cloak wrapped tightly around her once more and the thing hood pulled up ober her head, the Vortixx left the pier behind and made her way back into the busier areas of the village. She had a plan in mind already. And that plan included a good breakfast.

OOC: Moving from Onu-Wahi region…IC: Through the hills and across the great field, Lekori continued his journey from the dark Kofo-Jaga Nest that housed Wokapu, the broken Toa of Air. The Gukko Force soldier couldn’t help but smile when he finally began to see the gates of Ga-Koro before him. He had finally passed through the tall white cliffs where the famous waterfall sat. Lekori picked up the pace and scurried past the two female guards that simply nodded as he passed through.Feet trudging through the warm grains of the beach, Lekori wandered about. He had not been to Ga-Koro many times before, and he had no idea where to look for a healer. So he did what came natural – shout randomly like a true Le-Matoran!“Does anyone know where I can find a healer??” Lekori asked obnoxiously loudly.Usually, he was much more tactful than this, but other things were on his mind right now, like Wokapu’s fate, and more importantly, the lovely Wokiya’s fate. Wokapu knew better than anyone where Wokiya might try to go. Plus, Wokapu was a noble Toa, even if the Toa himself didn’t realize it. Lekori admired the former Cultured Gentry leader, and he wanted to get him the help he needed as soon as possible.“Anyone?? Healer??” Lekori asked again, most likely disturbing the peace of many sunbathing Ga-Matoran.

"hey girl: here’s an idea, but… it’s up to you:

You’re the boss of this operation."

IC: [Ashiem]When one was confronted with a question on the workings of life, the universe and everything, the pop cultural osmosis that occurs in one's childhood usually leads to most replying with a quick '42'. However, others prefer to think through on the question, and come with strange and rather apt theories on how life works, what was one's purpose in the grand universal scheme and how it all melded together. Of course, such things bored people to sleep, and so many preferred the ideas of the slightly less articulate and sophisticated beings of the world. The ideas of these beings can be best summed up as: "It's really deep dude. REALLY deep. Like, dude, it's SO DEEP."There was also a fourth group of aspiring philosophers, who pretty much went along with the flow of life, stopping once in a while to contemplate their existence and what they should do to help the world. One these philosophers became really successful and is still famous to this day, although he is frequently mistaken by many with a more plump person from the north of his nation of birth, but he is still famous nonetheless. Others who do the same may not achieve the same success, but they manage to have rather content lives with no real problems.Unfortunately for one of these aspiring philosophers, she was now having to face the greatest problem of sapient beings since the millennium long argument on whether rice was better than bread or not."Looking for job -->" was what was messily scrawled on the wooden sign stabbed into the ground next to the Toa. "Am capable of menial labours and other things. Majored in philosophy. Please do not hire if work requires lots of time spent in hot areas."It had been said by some random wise person, who may have not been perfectly sane at the time, that money was the root of all evil. Sadly, this was a rather false assumption, because the lack of money was the true root of all evil, because it lead to crime, and everybody knows that crime is evil.Which was why Ashiem was standing next to her poorly constructed curriculum vitae, hoping that some kind soul would take pity on her poverty and give her a job, because she really didn't want to resort to criminal activities to survive in the harsh capitalistic world of Mata Nui.In the young philosopher's eyes, they really should have kept the bartering system instead of switching to widgets.

IC: A large and black rahi bird, of the kind most often used to carry messages, fluttered down before Ashiem. It stared into her soul for several seconds. Then it screeched once and lifted up one of its legs.A piece of military-grade twine had been wrapped around its ankle. Held within the twine was a scroll.

IC CosiAh, Ga-Koro. What a beautiful town. Of all the koros, this was the one I felt most at home at. It had just enough of everything to be a paradise. But lately, it seemed that is was losing its "paradisity". If not for the new toa team that had arrived from nowhere, it would have become the next Xa-koro. But no matter, all was peceful for. Now. So when I stepped out into the streets, nothing caught my eye, except for a toa of magnetism holding a sign. I took a closer look; man did I need glasses. She was looking for a job? Hm, that sounded good. We needed more people in our business but hiring was slow. But it seemed that Mata Nui himself had dropped a new recruit into our hands...

IC: [Ashiem]Ashiem blinked in surprise at the sudden appearance of the bird, which seemed to have a strange obsession with staring at her. It was rather unnerving, to say the least, because it wasn't everyday when a black Rahi flew up to you to stare. Of course, she didn't notice the scroll tied to the bird's leg at first, but upon seeing it, she quickly and carefully took off the twine, and opened the scroll.

IC: Vinathli & Jilsud, Ga-KoroFor several hours, long into the night, Vinathli and Jilsud had used their newly-discovered information, questioning the owner of the nightclub among several other people. No one, apparently, had noticed the Vortixx leave, and no one had seen her take residence anywhere. This was rather understandable: Ga-Koro is a large city, and people in large cities tend to care about themselves, and only themselves. This fact did little to comfort Vinathli, who sat, emotionless, dispassionate, and silent, on a bench in the middle of the busiest district. Her Kanohi was activated, noticeable from the slight glow eminating from the gems on her Columbina mask. Suddenly, much to her surprise and delight, she noticed a hooded being attempting to move through the crowds unnoticed. The figure was doing very well, so well, in fact, that Vinathli had not noticed them for several seconds. Focusing on the figure's movements, height, and other details with super-human senses, Vinathli instantly recognized her employer. Standing up, Vinathli began to approach what she suspected to be Kohra, glancing at Jilsud, positioned on the other side of the crowd, who hadn't noticed their target yet. Drawing her hood down slightly, so her beauty would be unnoticed by the beings jostling her on all sides, Vinathli concentrated on Kohra, ignoring all others as she approached with ground-eating strides.

IC: JikalJikal's mask fought the force of the tentacle, trying not to keep himself in the air, but to slow his descent. He didn't know if there was an actual effect to it. Actually, when he hit the ground, he didn't know much of anything. Pain shot through every part of his body, accompanied by the rush of air as it left his lungs. After a few moments, the shock subsided enough for him to think. He was alive, the pain shooting through his nerves proved that. He was pretty certain he would have bruises when this was done. Experimentally, he moved each limb. Nothing seemed to be broken, but the pain that coursed through his left leg indicated that he might have bent something further than it was supposed to. He pushed to his feet, grasping the handle of his sword once more.

It was comprised of two small masks attached to each other on their left and right sides, respectively. One was a smiling face of light red, the classic insignia of a theatrical production classified as a comedy. The second was a sad mask of dark blue in the style of tragedy. Opposites faced each other with empty eyeholes and gaps between their lips.

IC: [Ashiem]Ashiem stared at the scroll in minor disbelief. How in the world did a random scroll turn up with a job offer just as she was running out of money? Was there some person spying on her and watching her every move? That'd be rather creepy, because it meant there were people whose lives revolved around following her. Of course, she now had a chance at getting a job, so it'd be better to see what was up with the company.Besides, people had told her she had a knack for rambling philosophically, and that's what people in plays did."Well, to Onu-Koro," she said brightly to herself, pulling out the sign next to her and heading for the exit of Ga-Koro.OOC: Ashiem to Onu-Wahi.

IC: Raion and Company, Ga-KoroKitsune was about to unleash an attack of her own upon Raion, when a hand of earth appeared beneath her, grabbing her in a split-second and attempting to crush her. His gravity returned, Raion spun his sword in his hand, glancing at the fist of earth, the sound of Kitsune's screams audible, before turning to Jikal, his face once again disspassionate and unemotional. "Well? Shall we duel? Neither of us are men of honor. It would be ever so ironically fitting." He asked, apparently unbothered by the moans of pain now coming from the fist of earth, moans belonging to someone he had claimed to love for decades.

IC: SahreaI frowned, and looked down the street, before saying. "You're going to have to be more specific then- oh."He was right, the bar was quite noticable. Unlike most of the buildings here, it was build from stone instead of plant material, and the roof was low and flat. Not to mention the stream of you-don't-want-to-mess-with beings going in and out fo the place. OH yes, this would be very fun. "Nevermind, then," I said, "Lets go."With that, I started walking towards the building.

IC: SahreaI didn't say anything in reply to the Vortixx, not like I could hear anything over the sound coming out of the bar, even from here. Someone get a De-Toa in there, mute all them, thought, my grin frowning slightly. Well, I ain't got no De-Toa, but an old fashion explosion should do the job. That happy thought in mind, I stepped through the door of the stone building, and survayed the room. Everyone there looked like they ate Makuta-on-a-stick for breakfast. Oooo... lovely. Teeth brushin' couldn't hurt either.Yep, we're definately going to be doing this Koro a favor.

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Streets)Tawara peeked around the corner of a domed two-story inn at the battle in the square. Kitsune screamed as a claw of earth erupted through the seaweed and seized her, crushing her ribs till violet blood dripped onto the street. Raion's voice boomed forth, as cold and emotionless as ever. Jikal's expression darkened and he spat a reply. The Matoran ducked back behind the building and dug her fingers into its slimy surface, nodded to Briani, and began to climb up the side of the wall. It didn't take long to reach the top; there were plenty of handholds in the wall, spaces where the plants were woven a little more loosely. When she finally reached the top, Tawara surveyed the battlefield. She was looking down at Raion from behind, Jikal nearly at the opposite side of the square and Kitsune between them. The Matoran lay flat on the rooftop and waited.

IC: JikalJIkal cursed under his breath. He had two options. If he attacked, Raion might kill Kitsune immediately, and that was something he couldn't allow to happen. Would not allow to happen. On the other hand, Raion might agree to let her go, and then he would be more or less free to duel the mad Toa head on. But if Raion refused, he was right back to square one.His muscles clenched, and unnoticed by Jikal, electricity sparked around his sword and body like a miniature electrical storm, reflecting the storm within. The pain from the impact had ceased to matter, all the mattered was making sue that Kitsune made it out of this not only alive, but intact. She would not be allowed to suffer any further, no matter what lengths he had to go in order to ensure it.Rage filled his heart and mind, rage unmatched by any he had felt prior. Even the sheer fury when confronted with Iris' atrocities paled before the tempest building inside him. He felt helpless. Helpless like when Iris used to force him out of the way, and use his body to commit unspeakable evils. And the feeling only added fuel to the fire of his wrath.

IC: Raion and Company, Ga-Koro"What, just like that?" Raion asked, pointing his sword at Jikal as if he was about to lazily thrust. "I suppose you aren't thinking clearly..." As Raion spoke, he traced the ground with the insanely-sharp point of his sword "Perhaps this will clear your thoughts." Stabbing the edge of the sword into the dirt, Raion controlled the earthen fist that had grabbed a now-sobbing Kitsune, using it to slam Kitsune against the ground, where the earthen hand grinded her bloodied body against the sand. The screams started anew, but the screaming Toa's brother seemed uneffected. His expression still disspassionate, Raion stared at Jikal expectantly.

IC: JikalThe choice has been made, the die has been cast."That is enough!" The Toa of Lightning roared, pushing off, and using his mask to speed forward, slashing in an attempt to separate Raion's head from his body. His sword sparked with electricity, electricity that would shoot through Raion's sword to him if he blocked. Deep inside, it was as if a safety had been switched off. As if any shred or morals or rules that had been holding Jikal back had snapped.

IC: Raion and Company, Ga-Koro"Oh, is it now?" Raion asked, his face still emotionless, lacking the manic smile most would expect. As Jikal charged, he thrusted with his hatchet several seconds before contact, causing a earthen pillar to erupt in front of him, shooting foward at a diagnoal angle, dangerously fast and powerful, almost a meter across. "I beg to differ."As Raion did this, he loosened his control over the hand holding Kitsune. While it stayed intact, the hand ceased its movement, and Kitsune's screams returned to sobs.
