Holy Run-on sentence batman, remind me not to read posts here when i have a headache, oog. x: but tbh i don't get this idea? removing Bionicle from its LEGO roots? how is that really gonna help much if at all? Bionicle exists because of the figures, which are generally conceived before most of the story complexities and are basically the only reason we know what most characters definitively look like at all! (reminder that any non-figure character got Greg's ever-ready 'descriptions' like "looked like a vortixx, but not really" or, "was blue and green, with a robot arm.", thanks,Greg.) I'm honestly not quite sure where the idea of Bionicle being deep or complex, or "deserving better" came from, it was, yeah, bigger than most Lego themes were but, to be fair the only other major story-based themes back then were Knights Kingdom II and Alpha-Team, not really much competition...
