Cool. Also, in the future "Bionicle Racers" arc, I've decided that along with a few enemy racers, it will feature self-propelling, two/three-wheeled Mechanicles. That's right... Robotriders, given the treatment I gave that Slizer, earlier. Click Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 I wholeheartedly approve. I have fond memories of racing Turbo and Onyx around the floor, and they really don't get the love the deserve... It also occurs to me that this is my first post in the topic since the arc started. I have to say, I'm loving it so far. I think your writing has improved significantly since the very beginning, and its great to see the development these characters have undergone, even in the past days/weeks since the last arc ended. I can't wait to find out more about the origins of the Matoran. It seems like quite a few new mysteries are starting to unfold this time around. And I love the character of Susurri. It's too much to take! Arrggggh.I wanted to make more illustrations for the earlier scenes, but that wouldn't been too many for one sitting and hey, we already know what the characters look like. I used most of these illustrations to introduce new characters, such as Riwhi, who looks just like Kuori, but is only a fourth of her size.The next few chapters are where we take all these plot threads, all these "what ifs" and they start gelling back together in a way that finally starts to make... total sense.Also, Ultio is completely nude in that last scene. ....yep. Thankfully, we don't see anything.And yeah, the older Mechanicles look like Slizers, while the modern ones look like Hero Factory figures, with Bionicle characters right in the middle. Seems pretty fitting, doesn't it? Piras commands you. Sooooo anyway... yeah. This chapter was NUTS. Almost too much action to cram into a single chapter that isn't this year's finale. So much, I don't feel I was able to do the action justice. But, I was trying to keep the Toa Miro all shadowy and mysterious, since I'm not quite ready to reveal their new designs until the next chapter or so.I hope the one shot you get to see of Piras is worth it, though. Dang, he looks NOTHING like he did at the start of the story.But, it looks like this is it. After over a year and a half of waiting, all the terror, all the violence and destruction we've had to endure, the Toa Miro are back at last.That's a good thing, right?Also, Ultio shot the Toa Novus with a gun. All of them, like... not an energy blaster, an actual gun. Like, basically one of our guns.Is that okay?Eh...That's it for today. Feedback is always appreciated. Here I was anticipating they were all going to be evil when they returned... Anyway, With Ultio defeated, who's going to be the next villain of this arc? Will we find out what the Toa Miro did on their travels? Will the Toa Novus recover from their injuries? What changes will the Toa Miro bring to the Idyllic island? Will we ever find out what happened to everyone else on board their ship (I forget it's name...) ...And where the Karz is Attra? Is he still stuck below the surface? Anyway, Great chapter as usual, It's good to see things finally getting moving in terms of story. The part where the Novus found out that they were seekers was... kinda meh, as we didn't find out what the people behind the scenes were using them for. I assume we'll find out soon, right? Something does seem a bit off about the Toa Miro right off the bat, but it was cool seeing them do their stuff, and even finding out Ultio's last name was a nice bit to add. I could tell from Ultio's description of the weapon that he fired an actual gun. That's a very nice addition to this story, and actually fits quite well into Bionicle. 1 Quote
