Hey just curious, is the Hirapaki(did I spell that right?) supposed to be a legendary mask?

Hiripaki*.

I'm not sure if it's "Legendary," per say, but it's certainly character-specific, considering it was (one of) Stannis's Toa Maru-transformation reward.

Pretty much every mask that isn't in the approved masks list is only meant for that specific character that has it.

Yeah but like legendary in the since that the staff will never give out another one and bad things will happen if its destroyed. (Like say maybe releasing Makuta?)

not to mention how bloody easy it would be to catch the Vortixx's lies even without Leah's mask

He speaks the truth. I was the one who caught him in the first place, so I can agree tenfold to this statement. Just saying. Edited by Voutok S'Tythe (Ray)

Behind this sucky post count, a writer and hardcore RPer lies in wait of a reason to post...

For those who will likely ask when reading some of my non-RP posts: for me, "*shot*' = "I know that what I said was something stupid and I am acknowledging this before people think I'm serious."

Oh yeah, and my current BZPRPG character bio can be found here.

"Why...me? Oh yeah, that's right. I'm weak. I'm of a minority, a minority of people with a common trait: we hear too much. And what we're supposed to hear hurts to hear. When I'm alone in a silent room, I can hear a pebble dropping from a mile away. I can hear a motor boat being started up several yards off the coast. A whisper from outside, I can hear as if they were talking right at me. An explosion in another koro, I hear as if it's just outside. Sounds useful, right?"

"Wrong."

"It's a curse, if you ask me. The same pen dropping inside this aforementioned silent room would ring in my ears. If I stood by the same motor, I'd get a headache. The same whisper would ring in my ear like two metal beams being slammed together in front of my face. The same explosion would render me deaf for years...thank the Spirit I thought of getting me something to dampen the noise, or I'd end up like the rest of my kind..."

No, not really. I doubt the staff will give out a mask with the exact same powers, but it's possible I suppose. Destroying it would do nothing to the fabric of the universe- it's just a powerful mask. It certainly wouldn't release Makuta because he got sucked into a story where he was destroyed. :)

How much does the average citizen know about the Maru's Quest, such as the death of Aurax or Lepridan leaving?

I was gonna go with Lekua learning about what happened to Aurax and Lepidran from Stannis.

You only know about all that because I told you, Draezeth.

Shaddap, I could have thought of it!

But couldn't Makuta be pulled out of the story if the mask was stolen and used by a Makutite? (Yes, I just made that up.)

Nope, not unless someone used Stannis' own mask to undo it.

That is what I have been thinking about as well. Good luck getting Lekua to Po-Koro. Luckily your character has a Gukko :P

Hey just curious, is the Hirapaki(did I spell that right?) supposed to be a legendary mask?

Yes, yes it is. The Mask of Stories is, as a matter of fact, on the same tier as the Masks of Time, Life and Creation, making it legendary not only in-game but in-universe.

Yeah but like legendary in the since that the staff will never give out another one and bad things will happen if its destroyed. (Like say maybe releasing Makuta?)

If the Hiripaki were destroyed bad things would happen. The Makuta wouldn't be brought back and reality wouldn't be reverted but it's very possible that stories would become wonky, like maybe any story told by anyone would be brought to reality or legends would be regarded as gibberish. I haven't decided what the actual consequences would be but they would be bad.

Of course, it's not like the mask is made of plastic or aluminum. I would think it would take an incredibly brutal and devastating force to break it.Like, Death Star level force.

Um, the Vahi was damaged by water. I don't think it takes a death star to destroy a legendary mask. But, it probably would take a rather powerful attack.

Edit: I wasn't around back then, but from what I've heard, I definitely don't want to know and you probably don't want to.

All I was trying to say was "Don't expect to screw up reality just by smacking Stannis in the face with a hammer and stepping on his mask."

Exactly. In other news: I'm getting eager every day for Nuju or Tuck to do something with the Dasanka. I'm really perplexed as to what they're like and what they're going to do.

Eh, we're probably going to have to wait a month or two before anything happens with them.

Locus Abeo was where the Great Beings dumped the inhabitants of the last BZPRPG after the entire story got so crazy that the Universe needed repairs afterwards.

It was also the point where everybody make their own little faction and ran around trying to get enough players to join to allow them to get infinite NPCs. It resulted in several massive battles that apparently did enough damage to their small Universe that the Great Beings ended up sending everybody to a third Universe.

On a slightly more on topic note, I would like to see something from the Dasanka soon, although I get the feeling that the island will erupt into chaos shortly after.

If the Hiripaki is destroyed, the next arc will prematurely come into effect.

Due to the mask's effect

it will be us reliving all of locus abeo

Deep down inside of me I know this to be true. Locus Abeo, while good on paper, was a GM's worst nightmare come true. I should know. I was the GM.

Should that mask be destroyed I am all in favor of that being the consequence. Would serve this game due punishment for that idiocy.

Though, because I can, I'm pinning the blame for that year fiasco on Sera :P Weavers. Blah.

That will come when it comes. I am all in favor to see how the inter-Koro politics work out before that comes into play.

I would call breaking a mask that is on the same level as the Vahi or Mask of Life to be a rather dull move.

First of all, it would bring back the days of week long deaths which, while really fun and interesting for all us players, would drive our character's crazy if they could revive an opponent that had been trying to kill them for months just because they had told somebody about him.

May I ask our fine community a question?

Should I keep Tarotrix as a joke character? Or else kill him?

I occasionally return to BZP for a nostalgic trip back. Hit me up on discord if you need anything.

I can tell you right now. Do not read past this point unless you want spoilers!----------We all sit and watch each other waiting for someone else to make the first move. Someone does something stupid, and everyone else dogpiles on them.

Of course, this was also the arc that Akaern died. I think that, to this date, she's the only PC who's died and not come back even once. It was a near thing, though.

Ahhh, Lloyd, always the realist :D Indeed, there is much truth in that statement. I'm sure though if everyone is too careful and nothing happens either myself or Nuju will MAKE something happen. I'm quite positive.

They shall suffer. And I'm currently working out a plan that very well may be a pebble on the path towards inter-Koro relations crumbling down. They shall suffer.

Unity shall be fragmented. It should be up and moving within the next... I'm not sure, a short period of time, a week if all goes well. Unity shall be fragmented.

Death is coming. But if it goes at least somewhat close to how I have it planned, there might be at least a sense of distrust that starts spreading. Death is coming.
