TuragaNuva
I was just talking to a friend recently about how Pohatu's greatest enemy seems to be scorpions: the Nui-Jaga, the Skull Spider in his set being a scorpion, and now Skull Scorpio. I'm happy to see that it's now canon that he hates them

Votuko
It's what we've all been waiting for: That time of the week when some guy over-enthusiastically posts the hidden letter from the animation and tries to make words out of it! This week is brought to you by the letter "U", bringing our total to "YIU--".(From current patterns, we can probably expect two more letters.)Personally I have no idea what this could be. "YIU" is possibly the most unpronounceable syllable they could have made with three letters, so I'm unsure how likely the "future character name" theory is now. My suggestion would be that the word will be "YIUGH", the sound Kulta makes when he inevitably is defeated in the animations. Or could it be an acronym - "Yellow Is Unlikely... Toa Colour?"

Someone already suggested that it might be 'UNITY' to potentially hint at the theme of next year's sets.Called it! This episode has another letter in the background. That's an I, correct?Nah, it's an H. YH?The letter on the building is, in fact, an "i". This is the best episode yet. Am I the only one who thought Onua's broad shoulders prevented the pistons from crushing him? (Before we saw Kopaka)I did too.Add me to the party. This episode has another letter in the background. That's an I, correct?Nah, it's an H. YH?Isn't that a Nuva symbol? While the Okoto alphabet ("y" and "x" are reversed) resembles the Nuva symbols, they are not the same. There are some obvious parallels (like the "t" character almost being Tahu's Nuva symbol upside-down), but no symbol is identical. EDIT: Kapura'd. EDIT 2: I'm calling it: the word is going to be a scrambled-up "unItY". We will probably have nine episodes, and if we get a letter at the current pattern of every other episode, we have five letters. Also, considering the theme of the Toa next year (if you saw Amazon), then the word isn't that surprising. 4 Quote "The Kingslayer"Complete Okoto Alphabet + Okotoan Symbols | Infrared's Okoto Font | SDCC Semi-Live Coverage —————————BZPGOT S1 KILLS—————————
The 1st Shadow
"Beware their tails?" Beware their tails? Surely, that can't be a reference to "Beware my stinger tail?" On a side note, I see Kopaka is still shielding his best friend from danger, a whole generation later. 6 Quote ~Your friendly, neighborhood Shadow ~Credit for Avatar and Banner goes to NickonAquaMagna~

Votuko
Huh. People still discuss things in the Official 2015 Topic? I guess "UNITY" makes sense, too.I'm a bit disappointed though that the hidden word isn't some sort of reveal, maybe related to all those Vahis...And what if they spend the rest of the three years' Easter Eggs telling us "Duty" and "Destiny"? What's with all these non-canon masks, man?It is strange that it's occurring just now, but I'm completely fine with it. Sometimes there are just too many masks for the story to handle, I guess. Also, woot-woot for more symbols. I like how they've hidden them. They're not too hard to spot, but easy to miss.

What's with all these non-canon masks, man?Skull Scorpio hasn't put the mask on his face yet. That's what drained Lewa's mask. Your un-called for passive aggressive sarcasm. I suppose my response was a bit unnecessarily caustic. I apologize. I just don't get all this clamor about "non-canon masks". Why is it such a big deal that some of the set masks don't actually pop up in the story? The story doesn't exactly have time for all of them (and I don't even know how the scorpions are supposed to put on a mask to drain it) and they can't just leave the drained masks out of the sets for the sake of adhering to canon when that will hurt sales. It just seems like much ado about nothing.

The book doesn't go into much details about the Scorpios outside of their battle with the Toa. It just says Potahu and Onua encountered him while they were going through their respective regions. But just based on how it is worded in the book, it's reads like Pohatu had seen them as their real life sets look. So I think that the Scorpios are the same all over Okoto. But that would just be my guess. Edited September 5, 2015 by Toa Smoke Monster Quote Everyone is one choice away from being the bad guy in another person's story. But that would just be my guess. Seeing as the narrative describes them as "Skull Scorpios" and Pohatu only refers to them as simply "Scorpios," I personally took that to meaning Onua and Pohatu had encountered non-skeletonized versions of the creatures that naturally roam Okoto in their travels. Pohatu simply recognized them from their shape. There really isn't enough information given to prove it either way, though. For what it's worth, if the "Month of Stone" poster is remotely canon in any capacity, there are clearly non-skeletal scorpio(n)s that exist on the island. Perhaps in multiple shapes and sizes. So there's that, too.
Lenny7092
Man, Pohatu really hates scorpions! They always find him wherever he goes! No wonder how they are his archenemies! They always bug him (Get it? LOL!) Man, Skull Scorpios are tough! They single-handed-ly defeated every single Toa except Lewa... yet. Poor Lewa, again! Gali made a funny face when Lewa pointed out Ekimu's tomb. Her unibrow is perfectly to look funny. Anyway, Gali isn't bright lately for some reason. Nice G1 reference on the title! Reminds me of Vorox in 2009. Since we notice that there is the Okoto letter U, I originally thought it is going to be "YIELD," but the U is making things different. I wonder what really is that word, unless you rearrange them to spell "UNITY". Hmm... I wonder when will Kopaka's mask be stolen and Pohatu's being drained. Could they be non-canon? It's strange that this happens, and the Skull Creatures that we already saw in the webisodes just appeared and then disappeared when they are defeated, never to reappear. I had no idea why. Hmm... Well, it would be cool if they would come back. I hope that can happen. Quote I like Lego, Bionicle, and Hero Factory!

Nidhiki of the Shadows
Ha! That G1 reference. xD It's so obscure and I love it! Episode was pretty cool, had some good moments of comedy and even a throwback with Pohatu's hate for scorpions. Again, it's really fast but pacing didn't feel too much an issue here.
