I had no issues upgrading to Windows 10 with what was a mid-tier PC back in 2014 (in fact, my computer has been running better with Windows 10 than it did before - significantly better).

From my personal experience, I would highly recommend upgrading.

Do you ever have people from higher up bother you about the extra hours? I've had bosses come down on me for working too much when I neared 100 on a paycheck before and it was pretty funny (although my bosses were pretty laid back all things considered)

One can hope it is a worthwhile job, that meaning it touches your soul and makes you eager to attend to it when you wake up. I despise soulless jobs...

It is indeed a job I enjoy, although that's mostly due to the team that I would get to work with/be in charge of.
