bioniclepluslotr
By themes I mean like how Barraki/Mahri was underwater, Phantoka was in the sky.By style, I mean characters' and sets' appearance, like how Visorak are bugs and Pirakas used the rubber spine thing, which is pretty unique. I'd like to see some more Rahi sets. We really didn't get very many past the original Nui Jagas and others from the really early series. It would be a nice change in design style to get a four legged creature besides all the humanoid characters we have. I had thought it would be cool to have a canister wave if being just different sorts of Rahi though those are usually reserved for major characters. Pohatu: Uniter of Stone
I would enjoy seeing a theme for the six main elements. A cave theme, a volcanic theme, another desert theme, an icy them, and of course, another underwater and another sky theme. For style, I don't care that much, as long as the sets fit the theme. Ragnar Lothbrok
On Faber's blog, he showed a concept of Metru Nui being an underground city, as if it was in a cave. That would be cool. More Rahi sets would be nice, too. And I don't mean Hydruka minifigs. Or Rahi titans that become 'enlarged' versions of their species like every Rahi titan past 2006 (original Greg is original). Canister-sized Rahi would be very interesting. Quote Twitter: @enkindle_this
dotcom
I'd like to see some more animal-inspired monstrosities like the Barraki. Just that sort of creepy eeriness would be nice. Whether it be actual Rahi or characters, I just want more weird stuff like that.
John Smith
As far as style goes, I'd like a return to more detailed pieces. There can still be sets with the more streamlined Hero Factory style, but I've always thought the highly-detailed pieces really made Bionicle stand out. It makes sets look more...well, not "realistic," but believable in the context of their universe. This line of thought comes from something I read about the models used in the original Star Wars movies: the more minute details the designers added to them, the more convincing they looked on camera. Banana Gunz
Bionicles... IN SPACE. In terms of designs I'm less sure. There are a lot of designs I think would be interesting to see, but I'll keep those to myself for now. bioniclepluslotr
HF actually had a lot of animal/alien-like villain sets, but all the protagonists were humanoid. What if Bionicle introduced something like a Rahi companion for each Toa, and that was its own canister series for a season? Or would that be cliche? Voltex
I'd love to see Bionicle tackle a space adventure theme for a year, or a medieval sort of theme. Otherwise, I don't care too much. Quote JOIN AETHERGARDE
jakest123
Knight-Based sets. That way we could get ordinary Toa sets with them wielding different weapons such as Maces, Swords, Bows and other things, and if this was the Toa Nuva we could have a titan set with Takanuva on a rahi mount or something which would be amazing. Archon~
I'm not sure how a knight-based theme would work tbh. I would like to see Bota Magna explored and some Mayna influences there. Maybe a prisonbreak side-story?What else what else...Oh oh oh maybe a theme in the core of SM where the EP originated from? I'md imagine to see some gnarly monsters down there. EDIT: why is the opposite of heaven still filtered.. Rahkshi Lalonde
IEDIT: why is the opposite of heaven still filtered.. because it still be cursin' like a sailor is why. :b anyway, I'd like to see some more animal-inspired monstrosities like the Barraki. Just that sort of creepy eeriness would be nice. Whether it be actual Rahi or characters, I just want more weird stuff like that. Yes, all for this. The Barraki and Makuta were my favorites theme-wise. because who's gonna walk down a toy aisle and not immediately run for the one that glows and is shaped like a crustacean? Pomegranate
Pistons! Pistons in every mold! And as for themes, I think something involving a desert would be cool. I don't think we've ever seen that (well we had Bara Magna but like, the sets weren't really built around that theme, were they?). Quote .
Jam Pot Studios
I'd like it to be Incan themed, stylistically. The Mask of Creation kind of looks that way anyway, so maybe I'm an oracle this has already been integrated into the 2015 plans. Quote Blog|YouTube|Flickr Making brickfilms since 2007. Toa of Gallifrey
I've been craving space since finding out Adaptive Armor has a setting for it (and Lewa's was activated for it).
bioniclepluslotr
For box sets, I hope they make more large characters opposed to just vehicles. The last few Bionicle series had a lot more vehicles, which is alright, but they aren't as poseable and are usually not as much fun to build, cause I feel like it's just beams and beams. Akavakaku
A flying city theme would be amazing. Maybe a lost world theme, with deadly Rahi and forgotten civilizations, or an extradimensional theme. As for designs, I hope they bring back sets with the squishy organic-ness of the Barraki. Nidhiki of the Shadows
Space would be kind of cool. I don't know, I don't really like the story being confined to one space unfortunately. Rooster Nui
A space theme involving the Toa Nuva in their space-adaptive armor forms would be pretty sweat. I also wouldn't mind a year of a mystical theme.
bioniclepluslotr
I would actually like to see a plant theme, like where the characters are plant hybrids, and you can make use of a lot of the vine pieces. Also, rubber parts. I really like the Piraka's spines cause it was different.
