Alright, so let's take a look at the actual inventory, shall we?

 

 

Here is all the available tools and materials our Matoran is carrying.

Break the chest to collect it and its contents. Make planks from the log, make a crafting table from the planks, collect the torch. Find water.

I swear to god I will shank Brickshelf. Apologies if the images are dead, Brickshelf has not been playing ball lately.

 

Alrighty then, our Matoran's inventory is still the same as before, just minus 4 wood planks from the crafting bench. And yes, he'll most likely stay nameless. Or we could just call him Steve like the stock MC skin is called. Up to you guys. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go sharpen the end of a spoon and arrange a meeting with Brickshelf.

:/ I have to do the interesting now. And extremely weirdly complex for the common 10-year-old minecraft player. Question: Is this minecraft modded?

 

Make the 2 logs into 8 planks, for a total of 10 planks(had used 4/6 planks already for the crafting table). Use 2 planks, make 4 sticks. Make a ladder out of 7 of the 8 sticks(Pattern is a capital H, obviously). Dig down 3 blocks, place the ladder on the second block, turn, place the trapdoor on the third block, but MAKE SURE THE LADDER IS DIRECTLY BENEATH IT SO YOU CAN JUMP ONTO IT WHEN YOU LEARN THAT ALL THE NIGHT-TIME ENTITIES ARE ALL DEAD-except for spiders and creepers. In which case, use the remaining 2 planks and stick to create a sword, to defend yourself from a creeper.
