He could communicate to most people, response is on the receiver, yes. However, as I just finished discussing with the boss, it should be noted that communicating with multiple people gets much harder with each person communicated with. 

 

And the Menti would most likely pick up that things were being transmitted, at least. Whether or not they could hear the content I'd have to think about/talk it over with my colleagues, but they will most certainly know a transmission is taking place.

Would I be correct in that, while a Suletu-user could project thoughts to anyone easily enough, the difficulty communicating lies with the other party: those accustomed to mental communication know how to respond, others don't immediately know, have trouble comprehending, and outright recoil? Would his team-thought communications able to be picked up by any Menti in the vicinity? "I think our ace in the hole just turned out to be against a deck of aces."

 

Yeah, the difficulty in communication is due to how the other party responds, not how you probe. And yes, Menti would be very easily be able to sense you extending yourself into someone else's mind. It'd "look" to them like you were a Willhammer, entering another being's local nexus.

What's going to happen to the BZPRPG now that Bionicle has come back? Will it keep going until we reach a certain point where we know more about Otoko, or will it continue for as long as we can keep it going? Will there be an Otoko based BZPRPG?

This was asked only a few pages back.

The answer is "Nothing" right now. Maybe in the future, we might use the new canon for something, but as of right now it has 0 influence over the current BZPRPG.

It won't have a lot of effect on the BZPRPG in the near future, but as we enter 2015 and learn more about the new canon, I wouldn't be surprised to see an Okoto-based RPG submitted as a contest/judging game.

No, on all counts.

 

The BZPRPG has always been our own universe, loosely based on canon. Some characters carry over, some core concepts carry over, and powers are derived from canon. However, we've always run the story as the staff wished to run it. It has never lined up with canon. Which also means that, when Bionicle starts again in 2015, it still won't line up. 

 

Somewhere down the line you may see some elements borrowed from the new canon, if the staff like them and decide to use them. But that's it. The BZPRPG will just keep on chugging.

You know, I got to thinking. If the Garai allows the wearer to control the element of gravity, wouldn't it be logical to assume that a mask exists for every other element? Why don't we add masks for every other element to the RPG?

Because that would give anybody who wanted it an extra elemental power. The same reason that the Garai is on the banned mask list.

Hewkii's Garai was a special case since the Ignika mutated it, but in most cases it has to be crafted with the actual Toa Disk of a Toa of Gravity - a rule which sticks for all elementally powered masks. Toa Disks require the knowledge on actual Kanoka crafting, which isn't widespread on Mata Nui, if spread at all. Mask making also isn't a particularly common thing in this society, which means that even if you could make elemental masks out of the resources you had, you still wouldn't have the specialists for it.

 

Also, no, it would still be a pretty big issue, because there are people who aren't even working within the bounds of the rules with one element from time to time and I'd rather not give people two and double my headache along with it.

Its less of a "if everybody is super, nobody is" thing and more the fact that all Toa characters have one main power (elemental) and one secondary power (mask).

 

Even if it is just a mask, one with elemental powers is significantly more useful than any normal one.

Say 'nuclear technology' instead of 'nuclear weapons', thus covering both positive and negative usages, and you'll have a more accurate metaphor.

The way I came up with my metaphor is the fact that most countries don't have nuclear technology/weaponry as a primary sort of power, moreso secondary. Therefore, likening giving everybody nuclear weapons or tech to giving them elemental masks. Simply because secondariness.

Also yeah if somebody wants their character dead they can do it just about however they want. It's always interesting when the murder bids start up in the N&D.

It really does increase notoriety for a character yeah. Not that you need it.

 

Utu had quite a reputation back in the day, despite his never (even since the Mark Bearer plot) having killed a PC.

Also, how many kills have people cashed in?:

Pae: 1 (snapped somebody's neck during the Pala-Koro invasion)

All my other characters: Not even once

As for character kills, I've got none. I don't think one of your characters murdering another of your characters counts.

I don't remember if I've outright killed any PCs, but there's one implied (with Edubard).

 

EDIT: Also, as its cause is derived ultimately from my actions, the disemboweling of the previous incarnation of Jasik.
