Also, still accepting applications for the teachings. Probably up until Tuesday. Gonna start reading them pretty soon....

 

Maaan some of this stuff gets me longing for the OLD DAYS. Oh, the stories I could tell you guys...

 

Like, remember the time when I created a race of demigods whose sole purpose was to destroy worlds to power their spaceship and reproduce? Or the time I created who literally had up to seven split personalities at one point? Or the one time we destroyed Metru-Nui?

Not that I'm complaining about people taking so long. Right now is kinda a busy time after all.

And I had originally asked, but it seems none of them are involved in that firefight going on.This is one of the reasons I wanted to join the Marines: to solve the incompetence problem. Unfortunately, my timing could not have been worse. Now what should have taken a few days has taken months because of Nokama's assassination and the Daedra thing...and now the captain has been decapitated. I'm basically out of luck XD

For those who will likely ask when reading some of my non-RP posts: for me, "*shot*' = "I know that what I said was something stupid and I am acknowledging this before people think I'm serious."

"Why...me? Oh yeah, that's right. I'm weak. I'm of a minority, a minority of people with a common trait: we hear too much. And what we're supposed to hear hurts to hear. When I'm alone in a silent room, I can hear a pebble dropping from a mile away. I can hear a motor boat being started up several yards off the coast. A whisper from outside, I can hear as if they were talking right at me. An explosion in another koro, I hear as if it's just outside. Sounds useful, right?"

"Wrong."

"It's a curse, if you ask me. The same pen dropping inside this aforementioned silent room would ring in my ears. If I stood by the same motor, I'd get a headache. The same whisper would ring in my ear like two metal beams being slammed together in front of my face. The same explosion would render me deaf for years...thank the Spirit I thought of getting me something to dampen the noise, or I'd end up like the rest of my kind..."

You have also found yourself doing it at a bad time. I think most of the PCs in the Guard are currently chasing Dorian and Grokk.

 

You could try talking to Jaller but it might also take a while what with him being an NPC and all.

So... During my recent interactions with the only begging pie I've ever met...

 

I've had a blast writing these. I hope you've at least chuckled while reading them.

 

The pure improv is making it a blast for me as well. And yes, a few of Velan's reactions received a chuckle or two.

Well that's good. Now I just need to wait for Tyler to respond to the fact that a bunch of zamor spheres were shot at the Valkyre thing by a bunch of Skakdi nearby (not my fault) so I can stop hidding behind a table for cover, get out, and see what I can do with the new wave of ACTUAL player-character Marines.I've found this game features a lot of waiting...oh well, good thing I'm patient.

I think misleading happens less about what you already have in your knowledge and more about....how you explain your knowledge.

That took a long time to write. Hope you guys like it! To be honest, I'm slightly scared at what Korero (and by extension, myself :P) is capable of...

Nice! I still lack the ability to explain things while half asleep, but know that it (And the several others I missed above) were definitely eye opening.

Sorry, just self-amussing myself.I mean, serriously, Anthyn decides to MURDER squadrons of Marines almost immediately after fighting breaks out (some of whom in very gruesome fashions), and Anyanka still thinks Anthyn's the most innocent and holy angel in the universe. I don't know about you, but I'd say that's quite the devoted follower XD

Hey, the wiki's pretty out of date at this point and only a small number of people are still editing it, so I'd just like to point anyone unaware of it here and ask everyone to try and lend a hand, if we chip in perhaps it could become a useful reference again.

As founder, maybe I should try and revive interest in it...if I can ever find the time XD

 

But if anyone wants to lend a hand with getting it up-to-date, drop me a PM. I might not have time to personally write every article myself, but I could certainly come up with a list of tasks that need doing and delegate them to any volunteer helpers ^^

I would like to point out to the Xa-koro remnants hunters that Kale got the ship moving some time ago. The plan was for the to head to Ga-koro first so if anyone would like to move them to that warzone, feel free.
