First in line was Norik, the first non-Null to be hung. Behind him were two more Nulls, who didn't seem to be quite right. Likely, they were completely out of it with fear. As they reached the gallows, they were all given a chance to speak for themselves. Norik, of course, opened with "I told you all I was innocent!" and other such protests that had been coming from the to-be-executed for as long as anyone could remember. The Nulls tried to stammer out a few words, but they were unable. Everyone seemed kind of relieved; it was getting close to lunch, and they didn't want another lengthy speech like Norik's. The nooses were tied around their necks, and as the lever was about to be pulled, one of the Nulls seemed to snap out of his trance. "Help!" he called, "We're not Nulls, we--!" but it was too late, the lever had already been pulled, and all three dropped. Several of the Villagers rushed up to the gallows and cut the not-Nulls down. Upon closer examination, they were revealed to be none other than Baltarc and Zakaro! Norik (Matoran) lynched. Baltarc (Matoran) lynched. Zakaro (Matoran) lynched. There was a silence as the utterly bewildered Villagers tried to work out what had just happened. After a moment, Burnmad spoke up.
