Are there any groups accepting members?
There is the Shadow Hapaka in Ko-Wahi, if you're evil.
I have an evil character doing nothing. How and where do you join?
Well, the leader of the group is run by the character Sideways (AuRon the champion) in Ko-Wahi, currently looting a village. PM him for details. Edited by Toa Of Virtues

There are so many variables in a situation like that, it's not even funny. Besides. Not everyone travels alone.
Three weapons masters against twelve spear men? My money's still on the spear men. Any more weapons masters then that and anyone competent will send more spear men. And some archers.
As I said, there are many variables. Maybe there aren't twelve opponents. Maybe the weapons masters are a large group of twelve. Maybe the guy sending them isn't competent. Stuff happens.
Did you even read my post? I said for the most part. In the situation that we are discussing they are. In Koro's and other area's like them I think it can safely be said that the NPC's hold a distinct advantage in numbers and, because they're fighting on their home turf and to defend their homes, no one, even during the chaos caused by an attack, will find much easy prey. During the Ko-Koro attack, much NPC blood was spilled with very few mentions of anyone fighting back.
Considering I made a response coherent to your original post, I think we can assume that I did indeed read your post. Unless of course you simply being sarcastic and attempting to annoy me, in which case, what the heck?We (or atleast, I) were not talking about any specific case. I was talking about NPCs in general, as you were in the first part of your post. I didn't see twelve spearmen in the case you've allegedly been talking about.

"It comes with the job," Halfimus explained, "I'm not paid enough to give anything outside quick flavour descriptions."

So pay me more AuRon.

On an island under attack from a cosmic evil with an army of Rahi at it's command? I don't think the incompetent would have survived long enough to garner any real power. At all.

You could have skimmed it. I do that myself sometimes, particularly when everyone starts posting at once. Point taken regarding the second part. But I think taking away any advantages the NPC's do have, well, the PC's victory tends to be a given. There's no reason to make it easy.

I believe you find life such a problem because you think there are the good people and the bad people. You are wrong, of course. There are, always and only, the bad people, but some of them are on opposite sides.

Since this argument has pretty much boiled down to just you two - unless Eyru ninjas me with a post, which'd be embarrassing - I'm gonna have to ask you to take it to PM, gents.-Teezy

Ah, but I'm a part of it. :PThe reason so much blood was spilled in the beginning, with little resistance, is because they were sports fans. Literally, the people being killed were the ones trying to flee the stadium. And really, the stupid people always find a way to persist in their species' existence.

On this eve, the thirtieth anniversary of that first colony, many are left to wonder; is the world fast approaching a breaking point?

Sports fans living in a world where a Nui Rama could swoop down out of nowhere and start butchering people. Again, common sense dictates they'd be competent enough to at least consider such a thing. This is a world under siege from a massive army of Rahi. Siege mentality tends to result in an armed and paranoid society.

Okay, guys, I'm back! I'm afraid the lazy bug has bitten me and I don't want to flip through the thousand-something posts, so if you need me to respond to anything or if I need to know what's going on in the RPG I would really appreciate a PM. Thanks! Also, has anything exciting/crazy happened in my abscense?-Mef
