Glove is TPtI?

OOC: Who did you think I was? Little tip, my usernames here always have four words in them. At first it was accidental, but then someone pointed out so I've just decided to run with itIC: "My name is Kharish," she said, a little touchy about being addressed as 'Rahkshi' all the time, "Doctor Kharish." IC: "I have the power of Quick Healing," Kharish replied, warily taking a seat, "I can regenerate my own body and, with the staff, others as well. I've trained for years in the arts of medicine, so I know how best to apply the power. Its all very well just trying to heal a broken arm, but if you haven't set it properly its going to be crooked."

Garett / Camp B / IC: Garett was about to follow the expedition when Levacius came up to him. He sighed and put both his hands upon Levacius’ shoulders. “Cievasul,” he said, “I don’t think it’s being done in Mata Nui’s name. And I can’t explain it. But now we go to find answers. Follow us if you wish.” With that, the Rahkshi turned and went to catch up with the trailer and group of beings that was walking up the path south by short teleporting.GM IC: The third Rhak glanced at Laorus’ charge, which distracted him from the shots from Kahlynn’s launcher. One of the poorly aimed shots hit, and the brown colored Rhak stumbled under the impact, but his natural armor seemed to take the hit. Although it did slightly disorientate him and he didn’t make a move to dodge Laorus’ charge. The first Rhak growled in disgust. ‘You nurtured recently. You didn’t create it. Remember the rules. Remember the Creator. Do what you will with this one. Don’t kill. At this, the Rhak snorted at his overzealous sister and took off into the forest. He had heard something. But another of his brothers shouldn’t have been awake. Not yet. Something was wrong. For Ena, glowing engravings flowered out from where she touched the metal. They were beautiful and enchanting, but held no meaning. Slowly they faded away, leaving their patterns in her eyes. Suddenly deep sadness seemed to flow into Ena, urging her to cry for fallen comrades. Janx / Up the River By Camp C/ IC: Janx reached out with his power. Nothing. Just like earlier. That was unsettling. Were they even Rahi? No. Questions could wait for later. Right now they had to capture the beast. The Rahkshi held up an open palm for the other Hunters to see. They created a perimeter around the creature, but did not attack, not while there were still beings close to the beast.

IC: The world became clearer as Kahlynn's vision returned to normal. He decided that using heat vision was a bad idea against such a quick moving foe.One of his shots had struck- that was good. Someone was charging towards it, so the Skakdi waited for them to complete their attack, moving back and joining the other Hunters in the perimeter.

IC:Kane:He walked behind some kind of trailer that was chopping its way through the thick forest. He did not know what to do so he picked up a tree branch and started talking to it."Hello lovely forest you are, aren't ya. But right now we just gotta cut through it. I know, I know it is crazy. We are cutting down a forest. Who would have guessed. I thought we were here to sail a boat or unload boxes for someone. Can't remember which. Sure I'll let go home."He set the tree branch back on the ground and waved goodbye as he walked away.Illume:He watched in awe the powerful warriors fight this large wild creature. He could not help but feel like an invader to this island. Like he should not be here. But he just did not want to leave.

IC (forest clearing, somewhere between Camp B and Camp A):And cry Ena did.She would have mentally scorned someone who had done otherwise; she wasn't the sort of person who shedded tears like lies, a "delicate flower" in others' eyes. Yet here she was, on her knees, fingers slipping from the cold metal and tears slipping from underneath her half-closed eyelids.Just another event in her emotional roller-coaster ride of the past fifteen minutes that went unnoticed by her mind. After a time, she opened her eyes again. The goal was still in her mind, but its identity had disappeared (or had it been absent from the beginning?). She only knew she had to do something more.Using her magnetism power, she caught the metal in a mental grip and began to ease it out from the dirt. She had to know what this was and how it had brought her to her knees. Edited by Legolover-361

GMSecond Rhak/Speaking with the First RhakIC:

The second Rhak hissed one last time at it's brother before turning. So, she couldn't kill Thalidon? Pain, suffering, and near-death experiences were still available. She smiled and kicked his head.

Alan/Near Camp C, Fighting the Third RhakIC:

Alan was close enough to see the battle. He decided he would do introductions after the Rhak was downed. Thus, he put forth his energy, attempting to slam it - and only it - against the forest floor.

IC: Rayhoun/Tempest - Only Bay PassageRayhoun grimaced, turning to Mala, casually bringing out a data-screen, and tossing to the being, 'There, that contains every scrap of information on the Eye that is available to me. Which is quite extensive. Look over it, then give it back to me.'He turned back to Artorre, 'Well, if you don't like water, you don't like flying, and you can't teleport, we've got a bit of a problem. So, unless you can determine another way to get off this island.'Tempest finally turned back to Kharish, 'Now then Rahkshi, if you could join me, I'd like to start the interviews sooner, rather than later.'-Void

IC: Krokk and Mala, Only Bay PassageJust as the toa had promised, The tablet contained a staggering amount of information. Underneath a symbol of a hurricane and lightning bolt, the two Skakdi found information on what appeared to be a group of thugs for hire. They found names and details of agents, the location of a small island of the Southern Continent that served as a base of operation, and even details of some missions The Eye had carried out. Why she had been handed this information, Mala couldn't fathom. She could easily sell the information to The Eye's enemies, effectively doing away with all their secrecy and bringing the organisation to its knees. In the entire document, they could find no mention of the Brotherhood of Makuta, which suited them just fine. Being on the run from such a powerful organisation, they didn't want to take any chances around falling into its grasp. If this Eye held as much influence as the tablet suggested, it might be worth joining up to avoid detection."Fine" Mala said eventually. "We'll join".

GM IC: The metal slab seemed resistant to Ena’s magnetic powers, or held in place by some other force. And whether due to her use of power or the tears that hit the metal, words began to form. Perhaps it was because of her genuine feelings, or perhaps pure motives to find out what had happened on the island, but one thing was for certain, she had done it. Slowly the glowing words spread out, spreading up and down the surface until they were readable. A quick look on the other side of the metal slab would reveal even more written there. A warm feeling now emanated from the metal, and it was warm to the touch. The third Rhak was thrown down into the mud, surprised at the sudden attack. And then it sensed the new mind. It was not properly distracted and momentarily forgot about Laorus as her mount ran right into him. He went flying a few paces away and slid in the mud down the incline of the shallow dip in the landscape that he had come out of. The Hunters all around looked at Janx for his signal. The Rahkshi closed his fist, and the attacks and traps landed on the Rahi, binding it. As it struggled to get free of its sudden bindings, Janx motioned to their fallen comrades. The Steltian from earlier went over to those who had lost all strength and picked several up at once. He began to transport them back to camp along with several others. Meanwhile, everyone else would be trying to figure out how to transport the Rhak without losing it to the trees or lessening its bonds. Kioulp and the others reached a barrier of branches and bushes and vines and tall grass that hindered all movement of the trailer. Not that it mattered, the saws had already been completely worn down, and they hadn’t even cut through any trees. The Toa of Magnetism opened up the driver door and yelled to those around him, “All on foot now! We must be close. I’ll guard the trailer with a few others, the rest need to move forward!” Garett / Path South from Camp B / IC: Garett walked along now, once he saw Levacius come along with him. The Rahkshi shrugged, “We have what we have. The defenses are those left behind along with those you brought with you. But since we actually created our camp, we haven’t been attacked.” Shadouk / Camp B / IC: Shadouk hid in the shadows, discerning what he saw. Yes, Garett wasn’t there. He didn’t like that Rahkshi. And now that Sirel was taken care of, he had no problems to move forward. Striding through camp, he went along the path that went to Camp C, but there was a detour to be made. Sirel / Camp A / IC: Sirel stepped out of the trailer and immediately saw Pluunar. She smiled wickedly and said, “Assemble the troops, Mr. Second in Command. We have treasure to plunder.” Pluunar sloppily saluted and raced off on his task. The Toa of Ice went off to prepare herself. There was a fight ahead.

GMSecond Rhak/Speaking with the First RhakIC:

The Rhak relaxed against a tree, letting different herbs apply themselves to Thalidon. Once he was in relatively good condition, she would awake him again to fresh pain. It was what he deserved.

Alan/Near Camp C, Fighting the Third RhakIC:

"Er... I'm new here, so, uh, what exactly are we supposed to do now? Bring it back to your camp?" asked Alan, ready use his element again if that were the case. Moving it with disturbing any of the restraining devices might be hard, but he could probably do it.

Janx / With the Third Rhak/ IC:Janx frowned and nodded to Alan, “Basically.” Looking down the incline at the Rhak, the Rahkshi was amazed at how many different elements and devices were holding the Rhak in place. It was wrapped in iron, held in place by stone. Vines from some user were strapped everywhere, several premade bindings of protosteel were on its snout and legs. Its tail was held in place by a mound of dirt. Now they just needed someone with gravity powers.

"Well, then, as a good first impression, I think I can help," responded Alan with a nod. Turning to the Rhak, he created a cube of telekinetic energy encompassing the creature and its bindings. IC: Levacius / Walking w/Garett"That's because of the numbers," Levacius replied. "The simple fact remains that even if the Rhak seems invulnerable, based on displayed intelligence it is smart enough to figure that it can't take on a large enough, fortified group. However, those who followed me our tired and weary. We've had but an hour, maybe half of one more, since we docked. Even behind makeshift walls they won't be able to hold. We need better defenses, traps around the perimeter, anything."Looking around, he said, "If we could cut down the surrounding trees it would be much easier, but I fear that may bring the whole forest down around us. Or have it attack us, based on what the islands shown so far."-Toa Levacius Zehvor :flagusa:

Janx / Moving Back to Camp C / IC: Janx followed Alan as the being moved away. He was impressed to say the least. The Rahkshi had never heard of the power of Sky before. The rest of the Hunters followed as well, keeping their bonds on the Rahi. Turning to a random member of their group, he said, “Run ahead. Prepare the cage.”Garett / Path South from Camp B / IC: “Yes,” Garett said, taking in the surrounding tall trees with massive trunks and knotted bark, “This forest is very much against us.” Nodding to Levacius, he said, “I’ve never been one inclined to conflict, but I’ve had to deal with it nonetheless. However, you seemed trained in some way. I wouldn’t know how to defend ourselves properly, so it falls upon you to keep us safe. Secure.” Garett nodded to himself, “Yes, you are now our official defense specialist.” They had walked far enough to come to the trailer that had stopped due to the clutter of plants. Kioulp saw Garett and said, “It’s too thick. I had to send most everyone else ahead while we slowly clear the way for the trailer.” “Good, stay safe.” The Rahkshi motioned for Levacius to continue walking with him as they began to slowly make their way through very thick hanging vines. Shadouk / In between Camp B and C / IC: Shadouk looked around. No one was in sight. Before him lay one of the rivers that made the delta on this island. He was going to find its source. There was something powerful there. He could feel it.

IC: Vertak, Path South From Camp B:Vertak lead the way in the direction of the Matoran Village, keeping his emotions contained under a calm exterior. Inside however, he was scowling at having to lead. Leading was something fools did; leading was something those who wished to die early deaths did. Vertak had learned not to grab the spotlight unless absolutely safe or necessary; unfortunately, it appeared that this was necessary.Else he'd miss this opportunity. Regardless, he was satisfied to know that he'd be the first one to see the village, and possibly the first to discover any secrets it might hold. -ibrow

IC: Path South from Camp BHios walked with the others through the forest to the Matoran village. He was partially satisfied that the plants around here were unable to be cut down, and thus able to survive. It did slow their journey, though, so it wasn't completely a good thing.Trying to keep his eyes on the route ahead, on all the colors of the jungle, and on all the life around them, Hios continued on.

IC: Vertak, Path South From Camp B:Vertak readied his sword as he neared what appeared to be a massive wall of leaves. As he reached it, he noticed the leaves looked rather like scales (which, knowing the island, felt very suspicious), and left no gaps to see through."Must be what we're looking for." he decided.Water was running down the leaves in streams, leading Vertak to guess that it was some sort of dome keeping something inside dry. He pushed against them, but all that happened was he fell to the ground. Standing to his feet again, Vertak pulled them up and vanished behind the wall, not really caring whether any of the others were right behind him.He stopped when he got inside, shielding his eyes and blinking due to the light- it was far brighter in here than it was anywhere else, and closer inspection revealed that it was the leaves. In the middle was a giant tree, which was the source of the leaf barrier. Several two story stumps were scattered in a semi-circle, with lower stumps completing the circle. What Vertak found odd about the stumps was that they appeared natural; though they had no branches, it didn't look like the branches had been cut off.Next, he noticed that everything had moss on it and appeared to have been naturally grown, including the doors to the huts. There stood only one building in the clearing that didn't have the moss on it; Vertak could make out swirling patterns carved into the wood, though it appeared that the entrance was on the other side."There's nothing here." Vertak muttered to himself, noting the lack of hostility. On the trek their he'd had to slash his way through bushes and the like, nearly losing his life to a particularly nasty thornbush; as such, he began to creep around the edge of the clearing to get to the ornate building, instead of walking through the middle.-ibrow

IC (clearing, forest between Camp B and Camp A):In honor of lost friends and brothers. In honor of hard workers and fun lovers. And in honor of the best Matoran a Makuta could ask to look over.A voice. Ena turned; the words continued to spread across the metal like a waterfall. Here lies the metal of remembrance. The Mourning Slab of the Le-Matoran. This shrine is here to help those who come afterwards understand what happened just north of this spot and to keep the spirits of the Matoran lost alive.Su'un stood at the edge of the clearing, eyes wide. Ena's mouth compressed. Without speaking, she jerked her head to the metal in a gesture for Su'un to join her beside it.In a series of events that conspired out of my control and I was not alerted to in time, or perhaps which I just didnt respond to in time, the floating village of the Le-Matoran assigned to me was destroyed in a giant fireball of destruction that took away from me two of my greatest creations, a dear friend, and, to my knowledge, all of the Le-Matoran on this island. This transpiring of events was perhaps beyond my control, and brought about by many separate mistakes, but blame is not to be cast. Mistakes happen, and the Matoran of the proud floating village will not be forgotten. The spell was gone. But Ena needed no mental prodding to feel an ache in her heart at the transcription. This was a tombstone. Here was the scene of death. They brought laughter to a bleak island. They taught us all to take risks and enjoy the life we had. They taught us to make our tasks enjoyable and to better help all. They taught us to think outside the box. And they were always everyones friends. No one could dislike them. And we will miss them all.And so, in honor of the great Le-Matoran of the Floating Village, this shrine of metal here stands to endure the tests of time to bring the memories of old friends to a future world. We miss you all. Safe journeys on the path you all now tread. The glowing words faded a bit, but they still remained. Ena stood up, her fingers still touching the metal in lingering sadness. IC: Mala and Krokk, Only Bay PassageNeither Skakdi replied to Tempest's question for a time, they just stood there and looked down at the toa in fornt of them. Slowly, Mala began to transmit their thoughts into Tempest's mind. What we tell you now, we tell you in confidence, she thought-spoke. Nor will we tell you everything. You have your secrets, and we have ours, which we guard closely. If you should attempt to learn more than you should, or attempt to do anything untoward with the information we give you, I shall be forced to burn that information out of your mind. With that severe warning in place, Krokk began to tell their story. We are on the run he stated calmly, from the Brotherhood of Makuta, and have been for some time. I believe that should answer your question in general, but more specifically, we can fight, we can survive, we can hide and we can escape. I can even cook, but not terribly well.We came to this island because there were no Makuta here, none of their armies, and none of their agents. It was to be a tempoary haven. As you well know, it is not. We would leave again with The Eye, but only if there were a better place to go to. Somewhere almost as Makuta-free.

IC - Laorus/Doro - Jungle: As Doro snorted slightly in satisfaction at his successful charge, Laorus leaned forward, left forearm resting on the front of the saddle. She observed the Hunters and the newcomer as they bound and made off with the Rhak. To her annoyance, Janx seemed to be praising this new arrival for his help--without saying a single word to the hollow being for her own.Curious, considering I'm the only one who landed a successful hit on it, she noted. Straightening her back, she grabbed Doro's reins, urging him forward. The Siorun dug deeper into her own thoughts as they followed after the Hunters. Well, assuming I don't get some sort of reward for this... perhaps I ought to simply take one...

GM IC:After Ena had read the inscription, it began to fade. Soon enough, it was gone altogether. And for awhile, the forest was quiet, as if respecting what had just been read. Then a small “chunk” and a whirring could be heard. The sound of sliding stone could be heard on the other side of the small clearing. For Vertak, the inside of the building revealed a bush that was in full bloom in the center of the room. It almost seemed like a shrine. There were statues of five strange and powerful Rahi the likes of which had not been seen for thousands of years. But perhaps the most surprising aspect of the room was that it was filled to the brim with cots. Yes, beds were all cluttered around the floor. And each one held a Matoran. Matoran of Plant Life. Or as some called it, the Green.Three beds stood apart, given space to be placed around the blooming bush in the center of the room. The First Rhak raced through the woods, leaping over rivers, paying no heed to anything other than his objective. One of his brothers had been awakened, he just knew it.He and his sister had the abilities to remain uncatchable, but the same thing could not be said of the others. And they could not be captured, that would trigger something disastrous that he did not want to carry out.Janx / Up the River Near Camp C / IC:Janx paused in his march as a small twinge tickled his spine. He had a sudden urge to investigate the shallow where the Rhak had emerged. Several other Hunters not transporting the Rhak felt the same thing as well. The Rahkshi waved for them to move forward with the others.Something gave him the urge to turn back, and he was going to find out what it was. He wondered if that armor being had felt it as well, wherever she had gotten to after her confident charge.Garett / Matoran Village / IC:Garett held aside a branch to allow Levacius through when they came to the wall of “scale” leaves. The Rahkshi frowned and scratched his metal chin. “Now how do you suppose we made it past this,” he asked as he tapped on the leaves and a metallic sound rang out.Sirel / Camp A / IC:Sirel looked at all those gathered around her. Most of her Forfeiters were there. The rest would remain at the camp to protect it and somehow figure out how to make a boat large enough to carry everything they planned to take off the island.“Alright,” she yelled in a shrill voice, “Let’s move out!” Pluunar grunted under his load and came up beside Sirel. The Toa of Ice picked up her pack off of Pluunar and gave the Matoran a pat on the head. “Let’s go treasure hunting,” she said to the Matoran. And so, they were all off, headed down the path to Camp C. Shadouk / Heading Up the River / IC:Shadouk stopped in mid-flight as he saw something dark gray leap over the river he was heading up. It was so fast that he knew it could only be the Rhak. Or possibly one Rhak. Who knew, there could be dozens of them.Glad the Rahi didn’t stop to hinder him, the Toa of Shadows continued on his journey.

He quickly sketched each of the statues and noted that they were in a building with Matoran of the Green before closing the book and making his way to one of the three cots placed around the shrine-like bush."Amazing..." he breathed. GM IC:One of the three singled out Matoran suddenly twitched and rolled over. It looked like she had been crying, whereas there was no evidence of this elsewhere. Everyone else remained in a coma like that, whereas she seemed as if she were napping and near consciousness.Although all attempts to awake her at the moment would prove fruitless.Garett / Matoran Village / IC:Garett strained to listen. He nodded and said, “I can hear everyone else already inside, but how?”The Rahkshi felt the leaves that looked normal enough but felt to be protodermis. They were all facing downwards like the scales on a Rahi. Garett traced one of the leaves with his finger and gave another useless push. He tried parting them, but that didn’t work much better and he could barely get his fingers between the leaves.Janx / Up the River Close to Camp C / IC:Stopping at the top of the decline, Janx stared at where the Rhak had been…. dormant? The tugging feeling was faint and fading, but it was definitely here. It’s just that the Rahkshi didn’t spot anything out of the ordinary except for where the rock had been almost molded to camouflage the Rhak. Was the feeling coming from there?
