ALVIS Posted July 28, 2014 Share Posted July 28, 2014 Huh. Mimic is strangely popular. It's a shame he never appeared in actual story. I actually like Ravager a lot. The way he's described as a coldhearted psychopath, who just wants everything destroyed and everyone dead, makes him a very alarming and dangerous character, and his amnesia makes him even more intriguing. I have an idea brewing for a fanfic about him, which I haven't gotten around to writing yet, but maybe I'll start work on it. The Lorax Posted July 30, 2014 Share Posted July 30, 2014 (edited) Devastator. First, how much more awesome could a model ever look? Second, he has an ego the size of Metru Nui, and big personalities are great in fictional characters. Third, his powers. He can turn himself into a cloud of sand, allowing him to do all the same creepy-cool stuff with his body that we some love to see Zaktan do with his protodites. He's also an amazingly powerful telekinetic, which I think is just a great power anyway, but for him it gets turned up to 11. He often uses this ability to rain down boulders on a target before attacking. Before attacking! For most beings, throwing boulders around would count as a pretty cool attack, but for Devastator, no, that's just the warm-up. What is there not to love about this amazingly cool Dark Hunter? Other than that, I do have to say that Darkness, Shadow Stealer and Mimic have a lot of story potential. He used to be lording it up as leader of the DH, then Makuta took over the universe, and he lost control of everything. Now he's gone completely off the rails and is building up a massive army in the deserts of Bara Magna. He doesn't work for the highest bidder anymore, he only works for himself, in the furtherance of his own aims. If the story hadn't ended when it did, I reckon he would have been one of the major villains for the series. (He might have also formed an alliance with the Barraki at the end, my memory is a little fuzzy on that). Katuko Posted August 17, 2014 Share Posted August 17, 2014 Lariska, because she's a proactive knife-thrower who doesn't afraid of anything. Devastator is definitely on the list now that Lorax has reminded me of how awesome he is. Vengeance is a real treat mbacues he changes gear without even blinking. Lhikan defeats him, so he swears revenge on Lhikan. Then Teridax kills Lhikan before Vengeance has a chance to, so he vows to kill Teridax instead. It's like he doesn't even care that this is the leader of the Brotherhood of Makuta that we're talking about, or that it was really just a coincidence that Lhikan died fighting him. Now Teridax is dead too, so who knows if he'll swear revenge upon Aqua Magna or something. Also, Zaktan, for his entire personality (and later, his protodite body is awesome). I also really liked Shadow Stealer and wish we'd seen more of him, he's just pretty awesome in concept. Darkness is that guy who is out to get the Shadowed One if and whenever he fails, just like a person who follows you around to see if you fail. O.o2. I just feel bad for Phantom, regarding his backstory that is, and I feel that he should be given a spotlight.
