Not sure what to think of the names. I think it would be somewhat demoralizing to have to go through life as "Bad Guy". And Good Guy would feel too pressured to live up to her name and it wouldn't end well.

Although I think that this is a trope joke, but the above logic just doesn't leave my brain...

I heart quoting them, but my family gets miffed if I do it, so I've learned to tone it down. Some favorites:

"You can no longer hide in shadow." *flips light switch*

"I am shadow. The shadow that guards the gate."

"Takanuva, now so bold. But at heart, you are still, just, Takua."

Yeah, doing anything more than mentioning them would not be a good idea.

I would also like to read your older works as well. I tried to read Dawn of the New Century, and while I felt the tale was quite respectable, I was more than a bit confused due to not having read your earlier works.

I have my eye on the new HF and the Lego Movie. I want to see the actual movie, though, before I decide on which of the latter to pick up, if any.

But drawing is harder in that respect, because you kinda have to start with a picture in your head, and if the pictures aren't coming, you have more trouble. (I am speaking from limited drawing experience, but from what I know...)

I actually think this one might make a good movie, unlike the first.

I don't know if it would be accepted - Lego doesn't normally do new molds through Cuusoo.

It's just a "genre-busting" piece. Genre is just "patterns of stuff" in a fictional work anyway. You are building new "patterns of stuff" that doesn't fall into the established patterns of stuff.

And forcing oneself to write does not cure writer's block. It produces bad writing because you have to fill up the page with words, but those words need not be of any value. It's like writing a school essay.

The person who says "Christians don't get depression" is just plain flat wrong. I have an aunt who is a Christian and depressed. I went through a major bout of depression myself, and I'm a Christian. Christians are people too, and have problems like everybody else.

I don't know if this will help or not, but when I was depressed I found it helpful to make a list of the people and things that were hurting me, and then slowly go down the list, forgiving the people and the things - acknowledging that those people and things were causing me pain, but that I could chose to carry that pain or forgive the stuff and let it go.

I'm sorry if the above paragraph is being insensitive. I have no idea what you're going through right now, and I freely acknowledge that. I agree with you that the world could use a facelift. But you can't force people to like you or to appreciate you. In fact, I'm confident enough to say that there are people in your life who really do appreciate you for who you are. If not, that's a shame. I've seen enough to know that you're an excellent writer - on this blog, and you write excellent nerd comedy - and you have the guts to ride your bike over an incredible distance that I couldn't ride. You do have intrinsic value as a human being. You can accomplish great things and meet great people.

And if people don't appreciate that, walk away. You don't have time to waste on those people. Focus on the people who do.
