We had a highschool videogame night and there was Slender in a large dark room with a laptop and a projector so people could watch. Everyone freaked out. Even the principal. I only played it once, but it quickly became my second favorite game there, with Halo 3 being my first. Pretty much the same fear you feel in any first-person videogame when near death (For example: "OH SLAG THE HUNTER IS LIKE A FOOT IN FRONT OF ME MUST BLOW IT UP"), but still counts as fear.Anyway, back on topic, anyone up for joining two bickering pirates? But, I'm off-topic. My personal opinion on the whole Slenderman thing is that it wouldn't work in the context of the BZPRPG. If you want to do something creepy, find something that would be easy enough to make work.But my opinion on 'Hallowe'en arcs' in general is that you should just avoid them. I mean, what's the point, really? I agree that having some dude who regularly goes through Le-Wahi and is stalked by a tall Toa of Earth would be... dumb... But if embellished and altered with genuinely fresh characters, a creepy Slenderman-inspired story can be told effectively. It sort of ties into how I look at BZPTime in general. :PThere are certain points where the time is the same for several groups or characters, no matter where they are relative to each other in how much time has passed. This could be a time like that, but island wide. Even if people didn't all end at the same time, everyone would eventually just consider it having passed. Besides, anyone who didn't want to participate could just go join the Grinch in the corner. After they steal Naming Day, everyone's characters need to start singing, and then their hearts will grow three sizes. Cardiomyopathy (enlargement of the heart muscle) is a serous condition, often resulting in full-on heart failure. Sing, and the villain dies.
