Maybe, but I'm not insane. Though if I'm stuck in this place for long I probably will go insane. I think to myself as I sit in the 'recreation area'. Hah. I hadn't been in this place long, in fact I had only just arrived. But I could already tell this was not a place you were meant to leave. The other 'patients' were either really crazy, or they were like me and trying their hardest not to be. I held onto my doll tightly, the only thing I'd been allowed to take with me. It's sentimental. I sat there quietly at a table, not looking at anyone, or anything. I didn't want to associate with these people. I didn't do anything to deserve being dragged in here, they threw me in here just cause of what they feared I might do. I wasn't one of them. If I left them alone, hopefully they would leave me alone. If I was good, and didn't do anything rash or crazy...maybe they'd let me leave. Instead of scribbling away in her notebooks as she normally did, she found herself pulling out her old lighter and clicking it on and off, staring into the tiny flame, remembering what those flames had felt like scorching her skin.... licking her flesh and burning it black.... stealing away her voice and her sanity.... So transfixed was she that she ran into the wall without even seeing it, falling back onto the ground. She snatched up the lighter and stuffed it in her pocket, before pulling out her notebook once more. She had to forget the past.... and forget last night's killing. Speaking of the good doctor, she produced the note from earlier. GM IC: The warden smiled. He slipped a note he had on him into the cell. "Report tomorrow at nine hundred hours." He walked away to analyze his study, and the note that fell to the floor read: You have been chosen to take on a position of greater authority, one with power and trust. The position shall be offered to you tomorrow at precisely :9:00 A.M.: What with all that was going on, she wasn't sure what to do with it now. So... that note, eh? You gonna take up that offer? It may be a good idea. I might find out more of what's going on if I do... but the other patients might become suspicious. Tough choice. But I'd say knowledge is power. Then I suppose we know what I'm doing. Idly, Gida glanced over and noticed a Toa of Stone who hadn't been there before. Looks like the Asylum was still taking in more patients every day. OOC: Is this thingy still on? I had almost forgotten about it. What do? I thought about helping her, I wanted to keep my distance from people but I wasn't heartless. But then she had pulled out a notebook like it had never happened, plus another Toa seemed to have approached her, I wasn't needed. I looked away, staring back at the table. I didn't want people to see me looking around, could draw attention to myself. I didn't need that. These people are all crazy it's better if you don't interact Lana. I told myself. The bigger Toa wasn't being quite as 'helpful' as he first appeared to be. From his tone and how she was trying to get out of his grip it seemed like she might need help... Walking up and standing beside the Ice Toa, Kotak, Gida glared at the huge Stone Toa. "Is there a problem here?" She ran a sharpened fingertip over her gauntlets. Keeping the peace was necessary. After all, if they were going to be trapped in a facility with a monster on the loose, they should at least protect their own. Then they'd have a chance. "You stupid little witch! I oughta-" And then what seemed like the entire population of the rec-room converged on him. Pathetic maggots, he should just crush 'em in their sleep.And then Velaz happened. His trip took him towards Korboa but found that Kotak had put himself in the way. The two collided in a tangle of limbs, leaving Korboa free...and standing right in front of them. It was the exact same tactic he'd used last time and it hadn't worked then...but that time Korboa hadn't also had Scriva lunging at him. His would-be victim through him off-balance enough that the kick actually managed to destabilise him. Though despite these wishes I found myself frozen to my seat, I just kept watching. I was too scared to do anything about it and too scared to leave. I want to go home. Nyhe rushed down to the Recreation area, only to see a large amount of patients fighting amongst each other. Some patient she hadn't remembered got thrown from the crowd and slid towards Nyhe. She realized this would have to stop. Stun guns wouldn't work... Aha! "Guards! Are any of you Toa of Air?" One guard, who was rather tall and lanky, stepped forward. "I am a Toa of Air." "Good. Could you try and summon a large gust of wind to stop them? "I could try." And just like that, the Toa summoned all his strength and put forth a massive gust of wind that knocked a good chunk of the Toa off their feet. The fall would hurt a little, but nothing a few bandages wouldn't fix. "Get a couple of medics in here. I need to find my informant."
