Compound eyes gives you a huge advantage, though. You can see in multiple directions. I'm not sure, but that seems OP as well. One would think that the eye style of the Rahkshi limits their vision. I also think that you are wrong in how a compound eye works, although I'm not sure if I'm right myself. Also some insects have parts of their compound eye focused on a point. He really just wants to prove he's better than Fang seems to think he is. If he stoops to underhanded tactics to get rid of him, then Fang still wins. And yes. I loved that quote so much that I couldn't just let it sink into obscurity. I needed it to live on somewhere.
