If somebody is stupid enough to draw their sword on a guy who only has one hand and still get themselves killed when the one-handed guy acts in self-defense, that's their problem.

Considering that our end goal was to kill Tuma and get rid of the Skrall, I think you can see where the problem might be

You still have half a village that isn't burning and the other one has only just started burning, you can prevent it from being burned too much.
