Alright, since I've more or less returned I think I'm supposed to like, post all of my character profiles or something right? If not please let me know. Anyways, here we go.

Taralynn Grey

Name: Taralynn Shine GrayCodename: StarShineAge: 17Gender: femaleFaction: X-MenPower(S): Taralynn inherited a small portion of the Phoenix force from her mother, giving her the ability to create and mold a blueish white phoenix fire which requires no oxygen toburn and can even be created underwater, she can choose whether or not this actually causes harm. Her preferred usage is to make things out of it like weapons or animals.Telekinesis which she usesto make herself and others levitate and fly, create energy blasts and shields and feel the texture of objects and people inthe vicinity.Telepathy which allows her to feel the emotions of those around her, read minds andtalk to intelligent animals such as dogs, dolphins and ravens, she can also use this ability toenhance the abilities of others for a very short period of time.Appearance:Tara is a very pretty girl, with fiery bright orange curlsand orangeishyellow eyes that blaze like the sunhttp://i406.photobuc... RP/Sun_Eye.png. Tara normally wears a long sleeve tube top shirt and cargo capris. When in costume she wears a white skin tight bodysuit with a black sash that covers herfrom her right hip to her left foot, black thigh high boots, black gauntlets, and a black phoenix symbol on the backof her costume. Also she has a white phoenix tattoo on her back that glows when she uses her powersWeapons: NoneSkills: Taralynn has an eidetic memory meaning she can perfectly remember anythingshe hears, sees, tastes, touch's or smells. Because of the the Phoenix force it isnearly impossible to lie to Tara as she can see through lies and deception.Taralynn is very athletic in the way that shekeeps in shape and is good at most sports, but when it comes to hand to hand combat she pretty much sucks.Taralynn also has a beautiful voice.Personality: Taralynn is very emotionally controlled, often letting her emotions guide her which gets her into troublemore often then not. She is not exactly selfish nor is particularly caring, more of a mix between the two.She is usually friendly when you first meet her, but if you wrong her or friends and family in anyway she will never forgive you.Taralynn can hold a grudge with the best of them, she holds grudges over little things like stealing her pudding cup orbumping into her. Above all Taralynn cherishes those she holds dear.Weakness: Taralynn has absolutely NO talent for hand to hand combat. As her powers are linked very closelyto her emotions she can lose her head fairly often making it difficult to control her powers. Alsoif you can make her lose control of emotions she will become a hazard to those around her. if she tries to use any ofher powers in this state they backfire, for example, her telepathy would cause herself and others mental harm; anything she tries to lift with her Telekinesis would immediately burst aflame; the phoenix fire within her would build and build until it erupted from within injuring her and burning those around her.Bio: The Phoenix had been a week pregnant when she fought Wolverine. But before he could kill her she took the embryo from within her and placed it in an container comprised of pure energy that would appear at the X-Mansion if she died and infused it with a small portion of the Phoenix force to accelerate its growth. After the battle with the Phoenix, Beast returned to the Institute to hear a baby's cries coming from within the mansion. Wary butcurious he made his way inside. There he found a newborn baby girl.Tired and sad his first thought was to drop the baby off at the orphanage, then he realized nobody would leave their baby at the institute unless the baby was a mutant, intrigued by this thought he decided test the baby's DNA for whether or not her X-gene was active. Finding a rather strong strain of the X-Gene within her, Beast chose to keep her at the institute to make sure that whatever potential she had would be directed correctly. While testing for the X-gene, Beast discovered the truth of her parentage, but chose to keep it secret to ensure that her mother's massive shadow wouldn't have any ill effects on Taralynn's psyche.

Kevin Rosado

Name: Kevin RosadoCodename: SurgeAge:16Gender: MaleFaction: X-MenPower(S) Kevin can transform into a form where he is made of pure lightning,in this form he can go above hypersonic speeds but at the cost of evaporating himself if he maintains this level of speed. He can control and generate lightning and electricity.Appearance: Kevin is about 5'9, very pretty and has electric blue eyes he has swept back black hair that stops just above his shoulders,he always wears a pair of over ear headphones, usually wears striped long sleeved t-shirts and cargo pants or shorts.Weapons: NoneSkills: Excellent gymnast, very good at Taekwondo, increased metabolism reaction time and cognitive function. Has leadership potentialPersonality: Kevin is a very optimistic and kind person, he believes everyone deserves a second chance no matter what. He loveshelping the new kids, usually very calm unless his friends or family are put in danger.Weakness: most drugs or pheromone based powers work faster in his system, doesn't like fighting women, his personality changes when he transforms.Bio: Kevin was adpoted by the Rosados a kind and loving family they taught him you have to live life to the fullest. They put him in a gymnastics class when he was 4 a taekwondo class when he was 6. They always knew Kevin was different from other children it was little things like sticking his finger in electrical sockets and not getting electrocuted, the lights in the room filckering whenever he walked in. It made no difference he did well in school and kept out of trouble. All of this changed on his tenth birthday it was then that his powers surfaced at the time he couldn'tcontrol them. He transformed and generated a electric pulse wiping out almost all life in a half block radius. The same night Beast found him sobbing amongst the wreckage and took him to the X-Manor, where he was taught how to use his powers, and trained to be a X-Man Kevin has been with the X-Men ever since.

Alison "Kelly" Drake

Name: Alison Bree Drake "Kelly"Codename: MistfallAge: 18.Gender: Female.Faction:None, Possible X-Men.Power(S):Liquid Molecule control, Alison's ability to control liquid molecules allow her to control all forms of liquid including; liquid metals, blood, water, ice, mist, etc, though she doesn't know how to control other liquids aside from, ice, water, mist and blood, very well yet.Because of her mutation Alison's body is completely comprised of liquid molecules, resulting in her being always being made of water, ice ormist, this also allows Alison to move at extreme speeds by moving through the liquid molecules in the air and body's of water. Alisoncan also heat, cool, shape, mold, and generate liquid molecules. Her ability allows her to create separate body's of liquid, frozen or otherwise, that act as clones. Alison's ability allows her to freeze the liquid in a person's body at a molecular level allowing her to stun, incapacitateand kill humans and mutants.Appearance: Alison was every teen's dream, her golden brown tresses shimmered like rays plucked from the heavens. Her smileshone like the Moon and the Stars, her blue green eyes deeper then the sea, Her flawless skin soft like the clouds, her toned bodylooked as if it was sculpted from stone, the curves of her face so beautiful that they looked as if from dreams. Beauty in every sense of the word, at least she was until she turned into liquid molecules, though less pronounced the beauty is still there. Alison wears a black tank top, black jeans, black fingerless elbow gloves and no shoes. Her eyes now glow a sort of blueish-white, she also has blueish-white glowing tattoos all over her body.Weapons: None except for those molded from her body and the liquid molecules in the air.Skills: Alison is an extremely talented gymnast, acrobat and cheerleader. Alison was the head cheerleader of her high school so she is incredibly athletic, Alison is extremely smart for her age not genius level but still impressive. She was in an advanced graduates class.Talented cook.Personality: Alison acts cold and unresponsive because of what she did in the past, Alison tries her hardest to keep people at an arms length both metaphorically and literally. As result of her time spent on Rikers island and her father guaranteeing her stay, Alison is very hostile, incredibly violent, and supremely ruthless. Alison currently hates herself more then anything in the world. If someone were able bring Alison out of her self induced sorrow they would earn her eternal loyalty, gratitude and friendship.Weakness: Alison's hate for herself and fear of bringing herself to care about someone and then hurting them makes it extremely difficult for her to trust or befriend anyone.Alison also has a hard time fighting anybody that has fire based powers. The intense heat they produce makes it difficult for Alison to keephold of her molecules. When ever Alison enters some kind of emotional distress the liquid molecules around her drop to dangerous temperatures, also her body is now often too cold to touch,Bio: Alison was adopted at an early age by Senator Jacob J Kelly and his wife doctor Miranda K Kelly. The Kellys had been looking to adopta child, they found that child in Alison. She was perfect in every way. Raised by Senator Jacob Kelly, Alison had a wonderful childhood. She had two doting parents, an older brother and a younger sister and since her father was a senator Alison got to have and do whatever she wanted. She even looked enough like them that no one ever asked whether or not she was adopted. Alison was the teen "it" girl she wasbeautiful, popular, talented, happy, rich and in an advanced graduates program and on top of all that she was the head cheerleader of her high school. At least all of this was until her sweet sixteen/graduation day. That was when the Texice incident occurred. A little before her sixteenth birth day, Alison's power started to manifest, it happened when one of Alison's friends threw a glass of water at her, they were all about to freak out when her best friend intervened and calmed everybody down mentioning the fact that this would be a great way to mess with people. She tried to do it again but no matter how hard they tried it just wouldn't happen again. The night before Alison's graduation/birthday a criminal tried to mug her, as she was in danger her powers activated again and she froze and shattered the mugger killing him. Terrified by what she had just done Alison hid the body and ran home. The morning of Alison's graduation day/ sweet sixteen, she had not been feeling well so her boyfriend dumping her just added more to her list of distress'. During the graduation all of Alison's pent up stress and emotions made her power manifest fully. As a result of her powers manifesting her body became comprised of liquid and the air grew cold and frigid around her, freezing, killing or injuring most of the students, including all of her friend, gravely injuring her brother and putting her sister in a coma. In a fit of fury and sorrow Alison's father had herarrested and imprisoned at Rikers island. Alison has been brooding and learning to control her power in her cell for the past two years.

Nathanael Skyes

Name: Nathanael Colg Deluge SkyesCodename: HeliosAge: 17 about to be 18Gender: MaleFaction: None yet might join one laterPower(S): Nathanel has a super human physiology that gives him supreme superhuman strength, stamina and durability. Nathanael has a solar healing factor which wil make him heal slowly in sunlight. Though he heals incredibly slowly, as long as he is exposed to sunlight he will heal eventually, this means if he is not in sunlight he will not heal. Nathanael he can use the sunlight stored in his body to force himself to heal outside the sunlight, though this also allows Nathanael to heal in the dark and faster than usual this also exhausts his solar energy far faster than anything else he does. Nathanael also absorbs solar energy constantly and can redirect it from his hands and body like a weapon. Nathanael can fly if he has absorbed enough solar energy and is constantly in sunlight or temporarily if he uses the solar energy stored within his body.Appearance: Nathanael has short dirty blonde hair, one bang barely covers his eyes the rest of his hair stops a little below his eyes.He has one sky blue eye and gold eye that both turn completely yellow when he uses his solar powers. Even though he is a pretty boy his time on the streets has left him looking a little rugged. Nathanael usually wears a tattered grey sleeveless hoodie with nothing underneath he always keeps the hoodie open, a silver belt, extremely baggy worn tan cargo pants and black combat boots. He also has a big blackish-gold faintly glowing scar that runs along his chest and back. He has four tattoos, a British flag on his leftshoulder blade, two small stars one on the lower right side of his back and the other on the inside of his right forearm, his last tattoo is a small red sun on the back of his left hand which you can see through the hole in his glove. He wears fingerless dark green gloves with holes through the middle of each glove. Since he isn't with a team yet he doesn't really have a costume.Weapons: Silver butterfly knives and brass knuckles.Skills: Nathanael is a great boxer and a magnificent street brawler. He has awesome eyesight and hearing and can copy most voices he hears first try he can also remember most people by their voices alone so long as he has heard them before. Nathanael is in spectacular shape even for a superhuman/mutant. Because of years on the streets he is a talented thief and a quick thinker.Personality: Nathanael is arrogant, selfish, really bratty and extremely headstrong. He has a habit rushing into things without thinking no matter what the situation. Nathanael, because of his upbringing has a nearly unmatched hate of humans, the world and many other things. Since he hasn't really interacted with any yet he's not too fond of mutants either. Areaction of him not being shown much kindness in his short life is his extreme selfish nature, as he believes no one cares about him. He thinks the only way to get back at every thing and every one is to steal, destroy and take as much as possible from them.Weakness: Thanks to his superhuman abilities Nathanael thinks he is unbeatable and will often rush headfirst into danger, no matter who/what it is or what they can do or have over him. Because he relies so heavily on his powers if he were to lose them he would become momentarily distraught. Someone skilled enough in hand to hand combat can out skill him. Though he doesn't know this cold makes it harder for Nathanael to use his solar based abilities.Bio: Born as the illegitimate son of the Prime Minister of Britain. Nathanael's father hated him and wanted to get rid of him when he was born but was convinced not to by Nathanael's mother. Though he kept the boy he barely gave him anything and abused him almost nonstop. Aside from the abuse from his father Nathanael suffered the hate, spite and abuse of his siblings aswell as his 'teacher'. When Nathanael's mother died, his father blaming him for his mother's death threw Nathanael out onto the streets to fend for himself. He tried begging but that got him nowhere, in fact it made people more hostileand they would attack him. Soon, Nathanael turned to crime to survive, fighting and stealing. Eventually he began to thrive on the streets and gained enough notoriety to join a local gang; a bunch of cutthroats, losers, etc. A little before his seventeenth birthday his powers manifested and he injured a few gang members. His gang proved to be just as bad as everyone else when they-full of fear and greed, decided to go the government so the government could take him and they could get a reward. The Prime Minister reward them by having a group of soliders follow them back to their hideout and slaughter them all. In the end everyone but Nathanael died. Full of rage Nathanael flew to the Prime Minister's house and killed everyone inside then fled the country as fast as possible.

Tora Ichiki

Name: Tora IchikiCodename: PaladinAge: 19Gender: MaleFaction: Brotherhood of Mutants, used to be X-MenPower(S): Very similar to his mother's ability, Tora can manifest a black psionic skeletal energy in and around his body that acts asa sort of armor. As long as Tora's psionic armor is active all of his physical stats are boosted to superhuman levels giving him superhuman strength, reflexes, stamina, endurance, agility, dexterity, and durability. Tora's second ability is to control, mold and shape inanimate objects. With this ability he can also combine multiple inanimate objects to create an entirely new object or objects, though if he makes more than one they areusually smaller. He mainly uses this ability to create barriers and combine objects around himself to create armor (The armor he creates looks like this http://fc02.devianta...n_by_Tyshea.jpg except the tassets and cloth on the side go all the way to the ground and the materials and color used differ depending on the objects he uses) the effect of this armor issimilar to the psionic armor except greatly diminished. Though depending on the objects used the durability will stay the same or increase.Tora's third and last ability is to create and project raw concussive force. This can be done from anywhere on his body. The longer he does not usethis ability the more lethal it becomes.Though he mostly uses this ability for flight it can also easily be used for fighting as well. Normally his concussive blasts are more or less harmless, if not charged or if used often the blasts mostly just move things. But if charged or not usedoften they can easily puncture or dent metal, shatter or crack walls and break bones. The power of Tora's concussive blasts greatly increases if either of his armors are active.Appearance: Tora has black shoulder length hair, jet black horns protruding from his forehead and a long black tail. His eyes are all blackexcept for the irises which are completely yellow. (He basically looks like this http://fc01.devianta...__by_Tyshea.jpg but his horns are black) Scars and tattoos adorn the left side of his body. Tora usually wearsblack turtlenecks, a handcrafted black sash with the words "The Tiger Lives To Serve The Flower" written across it in gold Kanji, and tight black hakama and a red jade necklace.Weapons: A handcrafted obsidian katana and a handgun.Skills: Talented swordsman, skilled martial artist, master level craftsman, artist, blacksmith, etc.Tora can create or mold pretty much anything into a work of art. He has increased reflexes. Because of his psionic ability Tora has a great amount of mental resistance. He is fluent in multiple languages, particularly Japanese.Personality: Though he can appear stoic, he's usually just being quiet because in reality heusually doesn't know what to say or has nothing to say at all. He talks more if he's around Rosalina. Tora is incredibly ruthless and fierce in the service and protection of Rosalina and Pietro. He expresses himself through his art. He thinks about his family often.Weakness: Tora is blindingly loyal to the Maximoffs especially Rosalina. Since Tora uses his concussive ability fairly often, most of the time it doesn't cause much damage. Tora has a hard time fighting those much faster then him.Bio: Raised to be the heir of the notorious Japanese crime organization, "Za Hanshou Fenikkusu" Tora was trained brutally and relentlessly. At first it was hard, but Tora grew used to it and eventually started succeeding, at least until his rite of passage ceremonyhis tenth birthday. During his rite of passage ceremony, Tora was brought before somebody, a traitor to the clan. He was told to kill them he said no, he didn't want to hurt anybody. This enraged both his father and the clan. They tried the week after but he still resisted.Yet even after all of this Tora's father was determined to have him takeover his legacy, so he convinced the clan to forgive thistransgression and continue holding Tora's rite of passage ever year. The training continued on a thousand times worse than before, yet Tora still resisted. On Tora's fourth rite of passage ceremony his X-Gene manifested. As a result of his power manifestinghis appearence changed. His irises turned completely yellow while everything else faded to the color of pure darkness. He grew long jet black horns and a long black tail. He gained black tattoos over a good portion of the left half of his body. Tora finally cracked during hisfifth rite of passage, but instead of just killing the assigned targets Tora killed every one in the room including his father and all of the clan elders. Taking no chances, Tora took to the streets. One day on his way home, Tora saw four men about to mug a woman and moved to help.Though the woman could have easily handled the thugs, she had seen the way he moved and decided to let him help. After it was over, the woman introduced herself as Rosalina Maximoff and asked him to come back to her house for tea, Rosalina realized that he was homeless and a mutant and asked if he'd liked to live with her for awhile, Never having experienced such generosity before, Tora accepted the offer. Soon 'awhile' became permanently. Tora began to respect, admire and love, Rosalina. Just like his feelings for her grewso did their relationship. Eventually he became Rosalina's bodyguard, assistant, and friend. Tora has been with her ever since.

Name: Tali ReloCodename: ShutdownAge: Early twenties (Ultimate time is confusing)Gender: FemaleFaction: Ultimate X-MenPowers: Shutdown shares her normal universe counterpart's power shut off and resistance, with the same limitations. However, she didn't develop telekinesis. Instead she can make her physical attacks pierce metal and other inorganic materials, though a human would feel it as a normal blow. The Phalanx weren't so lucky.Appearance:Shutdown looks much like Negate. She has the same wavy black hair, striking green eyes, and beautiful face. The same ample curves are there too, the athletic legs. Her face, however, was not left untouched by her phalanx infection, now a white scar stretches from right above her left eye to the bottom of her face. Nothing more than a white line, but it's noticeable. The same white lines are written across her back and stomach, drawing themselves down to her elbows. She no longer looks as happy, either, and her eyes sometimes get a haunted look. The "costume" she wears is tight, form-fitting, tough leather, protecting against small knife wounds and the like. There are weak points at the joints, necessary for her to fight properly. Her civilian garb varies, but has one thing in common: it all covers her scars.Weapons: Tali is a traditionalist, but that doesn't keep her from carrying two knives at her hips.Skills: Shutdown has lost none of her hand to hand abilities. If anything, she's better than her main universe self, particularly at fighting large, preferably metal targets. She's stronger than her appearance would suggest. Shutdown also has some of her late brother's musical skill, though she only plays the acoustic guitar.Personality: Shutdown has lost too many people to be the same, relatively happy person Negate is. She's also been through sheer agony at the hands of the phalanx, nearly ripping her apart at the seems. Nope, she's still caring, but she clamps up quickly. Sometimes it seems like she's not the most secure in her sanity, but it's always a passing thing. She's just tired of being hurt.Weaknesses: She can't affect a normal human with her powers, and the lack of a long range ability makes fighting more long distance foes hard.Bio: Shutdown had history similar to Negate up until the Phalanx invasion, when her brother was killed in the first wave, trying to defend his family with barely understood powers. After that it was one heartbreak after another, leading her to volunteer for the mission to search for Showstopper's parents. She was listed as KIA during that trip, though the reality was different, and if possible, worse. See, Tali was one of the only people taken prisoner by the Phalanx. They tried to infect her, but her resistance kept throwing the virus back. The aliens started to torture her with a machine similar to Scalpel's powers, increasing the level of the artificial pain slowly, trying to break her. When that didn't work she was injected with a newer strain of the virus, one geared toward her, and thrown into a ditch, left to convert. She fought it off, yes. But it left its mark. Scars, no more than white lines, merely markers of the underlying pain, stretch across her body, and she keeps them covered. No reason to wake old memories.

Alright. In preparation for "Da Evul plan, phase One", I'm posting this guy...

Name: Jackson HughesCodename: N/AAge: Mid-ThirtiesGender: MaleFaction: HimselfPowers: None, just a regular, 100% Purebred human.Appearance: About average hight, clean-shaven. Wears white suits with yellow ties. Long black-brown hair is pulled back into a ponytail. Hawk-shaped cold, brown, eyes.Weapons: Varying. While he commonly doesn't carry weapons on him, that's not to say there isn't a knife, some MGH, or guns nearby him.Skills: As the 10th riches man in the world, he's a shrewd economist, and a decent deal-maker. He's also a politician, and has some skills in combat.Personality: One of those free-spirited types who don't care about others and does everything for his enjoyment. Hughes has a extreme dislike of mutants, and takes pleasure in watching their suffering.Weaknesses: As a regular human, he has no natural powers, which can put him in a slight disadvantage in a fight.Bio: Hughes inherited his wealth from his parents when they both conveniently died of cancer. It was he, however, who took that wealth, and turned himself into the tenth richest man in the world. Recently, he's been publicly planning to run for congress, throwing support for a new Proposition X. In his private life, Hughes runs a variety of projects, which aren't illegal, but aren't legal either. He captures mutants, and uses them to manufacture MGH, labor for construction, mutant trafficking, assassins, bodyguards, anti-mutant division trainers, or whatever use Hughes can think up.

So, with my most recent post, I begin my latest shenanigan of the most certain evils.

I like to call it, "Operation: Make things slightly worse".

On the new character, Hughes... He's recruiting! So, if you have a mutant character that you don't know what to do with, feel free to give me a heads up, and Hughes will send some "Nice, friendly fellows" to check their applications to join the latest band of cut-throat antagonists.

Hopefully, if I'm able to get everything done fast enough, we'll be able to begin on-schedule.

Cheers!

It's almost like a bandwagon now.

woo~

Name: Jesika Snow

Codename: Subject T-042

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Faction: None

Power(S): Jesika's main power differs greatly in comparison to her prime universe counterpart. Basically, she has the ability to create and control a bio-electric field that completely surrounds her body, similar in some respects to that of an electric eel. Amped up to eleven, that is. She can use this power in a multitude of different ways, including, but not limited to, extending it some distance from her body allowing her to “sense” her surroundings through it, generating electric shocks of varying power levels, as well as creating temporary electromagnetic fields. However, she isn't a true electrokinetic, and can only generate electricity, not control it, thus leaving her both vulnerable to her own power and true electrokinetics.

As a result of the cellular vibranium “enhancements” made by the Phalanx, her body is more resilient than that of a normal human, allowing her to resist damage so some degree.

She can fly with the use of her wings, though not for any considerable distance or speed, as they also have been “enhanced”, which weighs them down somewhat.

Appearance: Jesika is about average height, with a slightly thin, but athletic build. Her hair is dark, and normally worn shoulder-length, falling down over her electric-yellow eyes that still hold the mischievous glint of her younger counterpart. Dark freckles stand out against her ghostly pale, almost metallic complexion. A pair of large, gunmetal-colored wings stretch out from her back, and can be folded quite close to her body if needed. Her features are more sharp and angular than that of her younger self, and she definitely looks older.

Weapons: None

Skills: Jesika is a moderately skilled as a hand-to-hand fighter, although she mostly focuses on improvisation rather than any sort of actual technique. She is quite stealthy when it comes to such things, her “enhancements” allowing her to move silently. Has a knack for technology and machines, which does include things like hotwiring cars.

Personality: Her personality, on the surface, doesn't actually seem that much different to that of her in the prime universe, even if it is (understandably) a bit darker. However, only on the surface. Underneath her personality is difficult to pin down, and is slightly unstable at best. At worst, she can be genuinely happy one moment, to be in complete utter rage the next. Overall, she manages to keep this toned down for the most part.

Weakness: She isn't particularly strong, and so any sort of brute force would be able to overpower her should it come to that. Her main power is weak to those with any sort of magnetic or electrical control, and is very sensitive to other electrical currents. As such, large amounts of technology can be distracting. Her enhancements slow her down somewhat, both in the air and on the ground, something that can be used against her. A strange side-effect of the experiments done on her is the fact that her body is vulnerable to technopaths, having a similar effect that psionic power do.

Bio: Jesika is probably one of the more unlucky ones in the alternate reality, though perhaps she was lucky, as she never had to witness the deaths of anyone she knew. She was caught completely unaware during the first wave of the invasion, and was captured by the Phalanx. Details after that are vague at best, but she seemed to had been for use of their virus' use against mutants. Initially, her body, due to her nature as a mutant, resisted the virus, though it didn't take long for the technorganic beings to work around this. Mostly, that is. It seemed successful at first, and she was subject to a number of additional tests. One of which modified her very cell structure, the “enhancement” intermixing it with minute portions of vibranium, mostly concentrated in her bones and skin. The metal's strange properties giving her a fair bit of resistance to physical harm, though it took multiple corrections to avoid any sort of organ damage. Sometime later, she also received the dark, feathery wings that she has now, an experience that she seems to avoid talking about. The tests somehow removed her original mutant power, and replaced it with the one she has now. She never found out what other tests they would try on her, or what they intended to do with her after they were done. As soon as the virus stopped being effective, she broke out at the first chance she got, using the Phalanx's enhancements against them in a desperate attempt to escape.

She made it, though wasn't completely untouched by the experience. Afterwards, she spent her time wandering, trying to find something to do with herself.

Heeheehee, I threatened to do this. You thought having two versions of some characters around was confusing enough? Well at least they were established characters. Mine are both new! Mwahahahahahaha! :P
Name: Alyss Bisset
Codename: Le Lapin Blanc
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Faction: Brotherhood
Power(S): Alyss has the ability to warp and bend reality itself, twisting it into knots then tearing it apart. She is the weaver and the fabric of space-time is her cloth. In less grandiose terminology: she opens portals. She can create them anywhere she can either see or knows well. And while there is, theoretically, no limit on the size of the the portals, the larger it is the less she can pass through. It seems she can only generate a certain amount of "wormhole energy" to create the portals, so a larger portal will have the same amount of power holding it open as a smaller one, but spread out over a larger area. This makes them more unstable and prone to collapsing if too much matter is pushed through them. So while she could probably create a portal the size of a battleship she couldn't pass an actual battleship through it. Something that size probably couldn't take even a person before imploding. As a result she prefers smaller ones, as they allow her to move more matter and hold more open at once.
Appearance: In a word: glamourous. She's got the perfect build, the perfect blonde hair, perfect sapphire eyes, even a perfect walk that draws eyes better than hypnosis. Even her costume looks like it would be more at home on a catwalk or in a ballet with its pouffed sleeves and short skirt over a spandex bodysuit.
Weapons: None usually, but she has a discreet locker she knows how to create a portal to which she puts the odd thing. She's been known to pull out cans of mace.
Skills: Good with thievery and pickpocketing.
Personality: Smug and arrogant, she's taken up the habit many heroes have of chattering along at people to irritate and distract them. Her powers allow her to escape most situations so she's never quite learned that her actions have consequences, and feels free to just do whatever she wants.
Weakness: Tries her best to take a backseat or support role in things. Avoids any combat as much as she can. Its cowardice masking as practicality.
Bio: Alyss' family were French-Canadians and frankly her parents were the sort to push their child into being best at sports or smarts. Lucky then, that Alyss was their second child. It was her older brother Louis who received the constant pressure leaving her somewhat neglected. or free, as she later came to realised. While Louis was railroaded down the path their parents chose she decided to do whatever would annoy them most. She started off doing a liberal arts degree just so they'd have to shell out money for something that would never come in useful. Then took up modelling, but not the sort that would ever land her in Milan. She ended up drifting about in New York with a band of con artists, living off what they could steal from others. And with her newly blossoming powers that turned out to be quite a lot. Portals are handy for quick getaways and establishing alibis.
Originally she had no care for the Brotherhood. She was going to wind up in prison whether she was a mutant or not, it didn;t seem to matter what rights she had. But the recent crackdowns...they have her scared. Not that she'll ever admit it. So she's thrown her lot in with the Brotherhood in the hopes that she could at least go down the street without worrying about being snatched off it
Name: Alyss Bisset
Codename: Planeswalker
Age: 29
Gender: Female
Faction: Brotherhood
Power(S): Alyss is a living fulcrum between the spatial pressures of individual realities. An organic key to unlock the doors between dimensions. She doesn't just create portals anymore, she is a portal capable of transporting matter and energy through her own body the same as she could through one of her tears. She is no longer limited to just the one dimension, and can fold herself through reality into any universe where a version of herself exists to use as an anchor.
Appearance: Her human form appears much as her mainstream counterpart, but with the sheen knocked off. Her hair is straggly and slightly greasy, her teeth are slightly yellowed and chipped, she's too thin and she walks with a limp. When she's using her power that changes. She turns into a glowing silhouette of dazzling ultraviolet marred only by dark spots within this glimpse of the Beyond
Weapons: None
Skills: None
Personality: She means well, and has been greatly humbled by the heaped disasters of her universe, but she can't help but be a bit pompous about it
Weakness: Her powered up form follows the same rules as her portals. If too much passes through she'll collapse under her own instability.
Bio: In the Ultimate universe Alyss Bisset was born to the same parents, with the same overt pushiness...but this time she was born first. Technically, as she would argue, the fact that she existed before the mainstream Alyss means its the mainstream Alyss thats deviating, but thats a quibble for those with five-dimensional grammar. And while originally she was pushed along by her parents, one of the innumerate global disasters her universe suffered gave her an out. By this time her brother Louis had been born, and during the chaos of Magneto's Ultimatum he ended up being crippled; paralysed from the neck down. With her parents in something of a fugue state with the loss, it was up to Alyss to take care of him. Her powers had kicked in during the event to save them all and now she learned how to perfect them, using her portals to help with her brother's needs. Her goal became to take Louis to a better universe, one where you could go five minutes without a rain of destruction from hero or villain.
Eventually she managed to crack the dimensional barriers, allowing her to transport herself into the raw stuff between dimensions...but something happened there. She believes that every version of herself that learned to walk between dimensions has fused into one being, with the combined knowledge and magnified powers of all of them. It would explain her 'portal-form' and the strange new memories in her head. She returned home, fearful of what might happen if she strayed too long, and for a time helped where she could with the Phalanx Invasion. But that combined knowledge came in useful, and a fearful fact dawned on her while all the other heroes were merrily hopping about. A fact she has come to try and avert at any cost

Well, I'm terrified of the possibilities, but not so much that I'm not coniderably more interested in seeing how both versions of Alyssa will play out. It's the grandiose wording of her abilities that cares me more than anything. :P

Approved on both counts (1)

IC HeiHei continued to sit near the tree, waiting for something to happen, whether it be Alec ordering her to do something, the sqaud emerging from the Big House, or a disturbance elsewhere.

Oh, since you missed it, I made a post where Caliban essentially hulked out and started laying the smackdown on Alec. You might want to get Hei to pitch in

CM, I'm sorry, but no.For one thing, injecting someone with Makluan DNA literally is not possible, and even if it was, it would be way above the intelligence of the Phalanx. If you look them up, you'll see that the Phalanx themselves arem't actually that intelligent. Second, having this many characters who are escaped Weapon X projects is kinda absurd.Seeing as this would make three.

Speaking of Dragon, a million years ago, I posted a five paragraph thingy to try and get approved to make a character who was a dragon sealed in a human body who can only access pieces of his powers at a time. Why did that never receive a response?

...It's Snelly's fault. jkjkjk

Uh...could you link me to it again? Since I just shot down a dragon-based character I'm pretty skeptical, but since you at least wrote the paragraphs I should probably give them another looksie anyway.

Cheers!

So... Still need people for this...

Some paragraphs... OF DOOM! Concerning why I would like to be allowed to construct a character grounded in myth.Well, I suppose the first and, unfortunately, most contestable point is that I believe I am a capable and responsible RPer. While I have had my share of OOC scuffs with some of the members of the RPG, only once was it concerning an event that occurred as a result of an arguable RPing misstep. I firmly believe that even that scuff was a stylistic clash rather than an actual failure in the realm of RPing, and that aside, I believe I have proven myself responsible in an RPing capacity, in that I RP fairly and considerately, and would continue to do so with a character of mythological background.Which brings me to the character idea itself. The idea for the character I would like to create is a dragon, mostly sealed in human form. Realizing the rather impressive arsenal of abilities that Dragons tend to possess (extreme strength and durability, elemental and magical resistances, natural access to magical capabilities, supernatural healing, transformation, divination, toxic breath, elemental manipulation dependent on the dragon myth being used), in order to curb this, the idea is that in order to keep his powers from being allowed to run free, a rather competent sorcerer cast a series of restraints on the beast that forced it into the shape of a human, robbing it of a majority of it's abilities . However, powerful as dragons tend to be, not all of it could be restrained. The character would have the ability to breath fire and have enhanced animal senses. He/She would also have a natural... I suppose "aura" of a predatory nature, one that would constantly give a feeling of unease. It's final ability would be the ability to temporarily stretch the limits of the restraints to morph portions of his/her body into the shape they once were such as changing his/her arm to a fully fledged dragon arm, or shifting his/her skin to scales, or restoring his/her wings for flight. Restraints stretched to their utmost, the character would be able to take on a humanoid variant of the form it once held, but only for short stretches of time.Regaining it's previous full dragon form would be next to impossible, and would require magical assistance from a being well versed in seals and restraint spells. Even with the restraints stretched to their most absolute, the majority of the abilities it had access to would be unavailable. It would regain strength and durability, and enhanced magical resistance, but that would likely be all, and it would only last so long as the seal is being pushed to it's limit. It is my intent that the dragon never be freed from it's restraints without sufficient plot reason (preferably one brought about by someone else, as I have no reason to use a full capacity dragon. It would be overpowered and would just be unfair.) and even after release were it ever to happen for any reason, I would like the character to be resealed, due to the restraints having a self regenerating nature. The reason I want to create such a character is... Well, quite simply, I love dragons, and with the sudden upswing of mythical creatures, I would certainly love the opportunity to play as one, even in a sincerely restrained regard. I would love to add to the variety of creatures now roaming the XMDD world and this seemed to be a solid chance to do so.If you need more, feel free to let me know, but hopefully, this will cover it.

Taken straight from the PM. Granted, my interest in creating said character has waned, especially with the sudden crash of the once growing magical community. But, all the same, here it is.

aaaaand new profile up for approval as prime-universe Luka has gone on permanent vacation!

Name: Lucas Elias

Codename: Augment

Age: 34

Gender: Male

Faction: Semi-Brotherhood, Technarchy

Powers: Lucas, due to a specialized treatment to combat the techno-organic virus that causes the Phalanx to form given to him by the Technarchy, now has a seemingly techno-organic body, looking perfectly normal by human standards outwardly, but with various modifications biochemically and physically, as evidenced by the various powers he gained from it:

Energy Drain/Taser: On the undersides of Lucas’s wrists, two small holes can be seen, with what appear to be metallic tubes leading from there to his blood vessels. The metallic tubes within actually are connected to his cardiovascular system, being merely an extra part of the newly modified tract. He can shoot metallic tubes from those holes, extending to a length of up to 1.5 meters to embed in any target, be it organic or technological. If strictly technological, Lucas can immediately drain energy from the object to replenish himself; if organic, he first injects a slight amount of his modified techno-organic virus, rapidly converting the victim outwards from the area of implantation, allowing him to begin drawing energy as soon as the first amount of it starts to change. If withdrawn, the area attacked will begin to quickly heal, as the infection only works properly when connected with Lucas. However, this power can be turned in the reverse, to act as a taser/disruptor in organic and technological targets, at the expense of a small amount of energy from Lucas.

Increased Durability:Due to Lucas’s techno-organic conversion, he has an increased bodily durability. Due to nanites formed by the virus, his bone has been changed to harder, yet equally flexible metal; his cardiovascular system entirely replaced with semi-metallic, flexible tubes, his blood with a much more efficient fluid for the use of transporting the nanites and oxygen throughout his body; his lungs modified to capture oxygen, filter out small amounts of dangerous chemicals, and expel waste gases more efficiently.

Limited Technopathy: Due to his Techno-organic nature, Lucas is able to establish a telepathic contact with any wireless devices near him, as well as connect with other devices in a similar way to how he may drain the energy from something; in such a connection, he can issue commands to the device to alter its function. This also allows him to communicate in a seemingly telepathic ability with devices, if he is able to follow the signals from one to another, and hop progressively outwards.

Appearance: Tall, and impeccably well dressed, normally in a western styled blazer, a pair of slacks, polished shoes and with a dark coloured scarf; at other times, more formal occasions being the norm, he can be found wearing an austere suit; yet other times, rather rarely, he can be found dressed in rather typical clothing, with a T-shirt, jeans, and a pair of tennis shoes.

Skin-deep he appears no different from any other human, except for his slightly muscular physique, something he does not share with his prime universe counterpart, who was much smaller than he is. His dark hair is generally left in a somewhat messy state, and he has a mustache and beard as well.

Weapons: A first generation P99 pistol, with added muzzle brake and underslung laser sight, as well as a SIG 556, with a longer match-grade barrel and telescopic sight, to serve as a marksman’s rifle.

Skills: Lucas is fairly well-trained with both of his weapons, as well as having an amount of training in Systema, similar to his prime-universe counterpart.

Personality: Lucas generally tries to present a helpful, friendly attitude to most people, all underscored by his deep caring for human life.

Despite the gentle exterior he normally shows to others, Lucas, when pressed, is a highly determined, ruthless individual, acting quickly and decisively to do what he feels must be done to preserve human and mutant life, be it the murder of a dangerous man, the destruction of a hive of the Phalanx, the abandonment of an entire city to the Phalanx or the Technarchy’s hunger, or the movement of the entire human race from one reality to another, if it need be done. This all leaves him with his depression, as he dislikes having to even harm any other being, let alone the outright destruction of human life; however, whatever he feels will aid their ultimate survival is what he shall do.

Weakness: Lucas suffers from two major weaknesses that his increased durability and healing factor cannot match up against; those being temporal attacks and electrical damage.

Temporal attacks, be they simply stasis or the rapid aging/de-aging of parts of his body rather drastically affect the technological components of his body, altering their rhythms and operations; this can lead to anything from slight anxiety and lethargy to a disastrous interference in his healing ability, the destruction of multiple nanites, medical shock, and life-threatening organ failure.

He is weak to electrical damage due to somewhat obvious reasons; electricity can rather quickly disable the nanites in his blood, and his nervous system is much more sensitive to strong electrical shock than are others.

Bio: Lucas Elias is the Ultimate Universe counterpart to Luka Ilyin. Where in the prime universe Luka was a cynical, snide, almost uncaring individual, Lucas is by far the opposite; while he retains his prime counterparts sarcastic humour, he is by trade a humanitarian. An early fighter against the Phalanx, he soon came to feel that, in the face of the unrelenting techno-organic onslaught, humanity would be nigh-unable to prevail on their own. And so he came into contact with those who caused the first, accidental creation of the Phalanx; the Technarchy.

A race of techno-organic (with great focus on the technological aspect) alien species, the Technarchy accidentally created the Phalanx with a virus that would transform anything sentient, besides them, into a member of the Phalanx species and hive mind if left unchecked. Normally, they would use this virus so that they might feed upon the energy from techno-organic creatures, there were a few cases where they forgot about their seeding of the virus, and Earth was one such place; however, some among them believe that the seeding of Earth with the virus, at first, was intentional, and Lucas believes this as well.

And so, in order to make himself better equipped to battle the Phalanx, he had the Technarchy augment him, to become a techno-organic savant of battle and tactical maneuvering, trying his best to save human life. His hope had been to convince humanity to ally with the Technarchy in return for safe passage to what would be a new homeworld; the Phalanx-overrun Earth would be abandoned in order to feed the Technarchy. Few allied with him, and so he sought to achieve this goal via his own shadow war, actively fighting the Phalanx, secretly working to convert various humans to his ideals, to aid him.

Soon after that the leading technopath in the war had been killed, and a team was sent over via the usage of trans-dimensional travel to retrieve another of this man, named Alexander, leaving Lucas with a new ideal: to transport the human race of his time fully over into another timeline, where cities had already been established, such that they would not have to start over at square one on another planet. And so his eager conversion of others to his ideals of aiding the Technarchy in battle waned, to be replaced by an even more zealous wish to bring them over into a new timeline, using the aid of the rather advanced technarchy. Once in this timeline he wished that they would integrate with the society already there, perhaps “find themselves,” though if that would not succeed, he would attempt to create a place for his people by force, if necessary, ideals gained from his short time served aiding the Brotherhood of Mutants in this timeline.

Later the fighting itself began to wane, battles coming less often; though still many others died, Lucas continued his battle to bring others to a new home where they would be safe from the Phalanx, even though that would require abandoning their true home, while others transported themselves over. Later, even, he consigned himself to transporting over, if only so that he might grab others to aid in the rebuilding.

Kiiiiiiiiiiiiinda pushing the powers there, Grochi. You've got a technical sum of four of them, and two of them are quite significant. I'm going to have to ask you to nix at least one of them. Technopathy, healing, durability, and drain in one character is really past what I can allow.

My lone issue: The viral infection. Exactly how rapidly does the techno-virus spread should Lucas manage to sink his tubes into a target? Is there any form of resistance to it? Do the tubes have to penetrate skin/surface, or can the virus spread on contact?

Of course there's resistance to it, as an enhanced immune system would be fighting off the virus as it attacked, and any others could dodge/rip the cables away quickly.

As to whether or not the cables have to penetrate the person's skin: That was why I said "embed" in any target. Not just contact.

They can penetrate thin metals, generally 1/2 inch or less for steel; other metals vary. They're also able to cut through thin kevlar vests, though the thicker they get the harder it is; if ceramic plates are involved, they can't get through.

The force, at maximum, is the same force found behind the arm of any combat-trained/hard-working man. And they're sharp enough at the tips to cut the skin and embed themselves, or cut through thin kevlar, like I mentioned; if necessary, they could be used as just a stabbing weapon.

Zyke, if your in here, go check your RPG. There is little action. On a short note, what would a power of Sonics be limited to? I don't what to make a character that I have to throw away. And by limiting, would it just be sonic blasts, and disruption of hearing? Or is disruption to powerful?

In light of the changes, Lucas approved x..... Whichever it is.

EDIT:

Alright, folks. New York City is officially a warzone. Your actions, as the players, will determine how this plays out, and whether or not the attack fails. X-Men, you're not too far from the city, and I'm sure you are bright enough to find a way there. SHIELD agents, you're even closer to the city.

Have fun.

What in the world? I leave for a month to take a break for XM:DD and NY is a warzone? can someone please give me a quick recap?

War...war never changes.

We crawl, on our knees for you,
under, a sky no longer blue,
we sweat, all day long for you.

But we sow, seeds to see us though,
cause sometimes dreams just don't come true,
we wait, to reap what we are due.
