All locations are proportional to us looking at the Abettor. Two letters in parentheses mean I am not entirely sure what that letter is, and those is my best guesses.

I like that we are doing this. My characters history was completely erased asked by the hack, and I was inactive for a while so this will be a nice reboot. Maybe make his less of a gimp? I could replace his mask during the time skip and retcon his history.

In all such situations, there is, of course, one very effective solution: flashbacks. Lots of flashbacks.

I guess I can fulfill the plot line I planned for Athiel using flashbacks.

Hmm.. Well this will prove interesting.. Though i am curious about something.. Before the downtime Onu-koro was going through a rather big plot involving the brotherhood of Ak'rei'an, the Ussalry and to a much lesser extent the one rogue brotherhood member syvra.. I am curious how that would play out. Would we just assume the brotherhood was able to get to blackrock without any real casualties, or will it be something else? Surprisingly this is my only real concern since

So yeah three of my four characters i can roll with this new arc when it comes around.. Syvra is my only concern since his life is in constant threat by the brotherhood.. So yeah just food for thought. EDIT: Oh crud i forgot but also Congrats Tyler on the promotion? i think that is the right term

How much have I missed? New account after hack.

I am a remarkably busy man at this moment. As such, I don't have time to explain the answer to the loss of two months' posted content as thoroughly as I want to - as thoroughly as I intend to - at present. I'm going to need more time to work, and I hope you will all be patient with me, because I can't reopen the game just yet. I can, however, assuage the concerns that have been voiced above about us repeating or replaying the lost months. I can tell you guys that we won't be repeating the two months we lost, two months that were fraught with inactivity, inter-player bitterness, and general frustration among the player base as far as I could tell. To go back in time would only make those things worse, and I personally see no value in repeating what is essentially ancient history. Instead of moving backwards, we are going to move forwards. In the coming days, I am going to initiate a timeskip into the near future of the BZPRPG world. The status quo on the island will be rather different than when last we saw it, and game elements that you as players have been waiting for will finally be introduced. The timeskip will involve the creation of unseen and updated location topics, an addition to the first post of this topic, and the introduction of new character possibilities. When these elements are all prepared, I will reopen gameplay. Personally, I am very excited about our chance to begin again, one chapter forward in the great arc of this universe. I hope you will all embrace the opportunities that our misfortunes have presented us with, too, and reenter this game with the spirits of camaraderie and joy. For the interim, you may continue post in this topic to speculate and whatnot about the changes that'll be made, or post in profiles to restore/update your characters, but DO NOT POST IN THE LOCATION TOPICS. These will be closed in the near future, but before that happens, please don't make my job harder. I'll be hard at work in my free time on the things I need to write and revise; if you have any questions (that aren't seeking details about the world after the timeskip!), feel free to PM them to me, and I'll do my best to answer in a timely fashion. Since it'd be better for all of us if I'm not distracted, though, you'd probably be better off directing inquiries to either EmperorWhenua or to Tyler Durden, who was promoted to BZPRPG staff during the downtime. Thanks everyone for your patience; within the week, I hope we'll be up and running again.

That would depend on the timeskip itself. Months? Yeah. Definitely. A few days? Maybe not so.

This is interesting to see. Unfortunate that we lost data-and I was looking forward to the battles in Onu. We'll have to decide the outcome of that.

 

But this is a good opportunity to get some characters rolling again. Since the Inferno has been stagnating on a Marine ship for months, I'll get them rolling and do something that was a long time coming-split up that organization that lacked Unity in the first place.

 

Takari and Makkan will join the other Toa Phantoka at last. A Dasaka may round out that five man Toa team. Vilor and Matatu will vanish, and Ziraul and Tirax will do the same. When they return, I don't know. Depends on how long my upcoming new profile format takes me. Which is another good think about the update-I have fewer excuses, except time shortage, to avoid working on my new expanded form.

 

The Toa Phantoka, as mentioned, will be the old three man team joined by Takari, Makkan, and a Dasaka. They will not stick to the Red Star Voyage. I just couldn't stay involved with that group thanks to my schedule. They decided to help supply you guys, but have left to do other work-whatever that may be.

Anyway, we are veering away from the hallowed ground of The Topic. So, the Abettor...personally I don't find the Matoran symbols particularly interesting, though I won't discount the possibility that they might have some importance. I'm more intrigued by its little mask collection. I reckon it has the power of whichever mask is currently in its slot.

I would place myself firmly in the range of a Mad Artist in the field of writing. Such as this little piece from a character I'm thinking of bringing into the game.

 

I will say right away that this character would be completely crazy.

 

 

“I saw endless pupil-less eyes, each one forever blinking but never closing, rising out of endless mouths that rose from the inky surface of its skin. Endless limbs spread out from its enormous form, each one branching into a thousand branch-like offshoots. These offshoots each ended in another mouth, which sang out in glory of his holy and unspeakable name. I could feel the darkness in my own soul trying to rend itself from my body in his presence, his sheer majesty causing it to writhe in agony. Then amid his center, a single massive opening appeared, the inside lined with burning quills.

So, any opinions on if I should actually make this guy for when the game returns? (Mayixa, not his delusional creation Neroxidecost)

Personally, I immediately considered that the different masks portrayed personalities or emotions, although I do agree that such powers seem like something that would happen as well.

I have the posts saved from before the rollback. It was my character, Greed, who discovered the Abettor's name in-game, though it's unknown as to whether or not he's shared that information yet. We'll have to wait until the game is back up to know. But I can provide you with the quote you're looking for:

-Symbols seem not to mean anything.

My question is what are the full extent of their powers.

While everyone is having a lovely time speculating as to the nature of a plot character, I just want to point once more to the wiki. We need typists and editors to work on content for the good of all. If you need an RPG fix, it's almost as good. (If you love world-building you'll find it more fun than the game itself.)
