OOC: Bartan from the Kumu Islets with Zerix and the strike team.IC (Bartan)The Skakdi chuckled, a sound like rocks sliding over other rocks down a pile of rocks. It was a gravelly sound."Who cares about your elemental powers or whatever," he growled. "Ya don't need 'em to break stuff."To illustrate his point, Bartan reached out and grabbed a nearby tree. It was young, especially compared to the enormous trees around the group, but still sturdy, and reasonably thick. Grunting, muscles rippling, the Skakdi ripped it out of the ground, roots and all, and hoisted it into the air."See?" he grunted. He took the tree in two hands and snapped it over his knee. "I like the sound of this berkserker guy. Sounds like my type, ya know, like a pretty cool guy. Just breaks stuff, and doesn't afraid of anything. Ya got the Makuta on yer side, eh? so who cares? If he's all that powerful, I guess none of us a' got anything to lose."

IC: Ira"I guess so..." Ira responded. "But if he doesn't think that this battle is important enough to intervene, then there's a lot more of them than we have so they'll probably break more of us than we break of them." Feeling his pyromania acting up, he swallowed another pill.

IC: Ira"It's medicine. I think it's called Prozac or something along the lines of it. The reason I take it is because if I didn't I probably would have burned down half the island by now and gotten my picture placed on wanted posters on the half that was left." He shuddered as he remembered those times when he'd burn down something for the sake of burning something down.

"I don't care though- ya don't need ta be sane to crack some skulls."An' bein' on posters is the fun part, ya know," he added as an afterthought. "Means yer famous, more famous than a skinny little shrimp like you would be otherwise, I guess. This is yer chance fer glory!"

OOC: Now go get Vorex off my case.IC:"So," Feongulg coughed, turning her head around in the direction of the surrounding Followers of Makuta, ending the lull in the conversation. "Are we -ah- going to get to work now? We won't get anything done just standing here. Right?" Their time had been wasted enough, and Feongulf didn't think Heuani would stop at giving them a stern-talking-to again; A stern execution, other pother hand. . . IC: XerovI chuckle inwardly as I hear being on a wanted poster being mentioned. Been there, done that, got the jacket, alias, and vengeance-seeking brother to prove it.I note the Fe-Matoran getting involved. I think that's the first time she's really said something important -- in front of me, anyway. I realise I still don't know her name.Admittedly, sure, she doesn't know my name, but she thinks she does. Still, I'd best ask her the next chance I get, 'cause it'd be a shame if the only non-Kufa Matoran follower of Makuta died and I didn't even learn her name.I'm still not entirely sure what I should be doing in this battle -- stand back and watch Pala-Koro burn?I suppose that if I get this weapon figured out, I'll have a chance. I believe I may have seen one before, owned by a shady-looking Vortixx. I think she called it a 'pistol'.I take out the pistol for a moment, to examine it. It fits snugly into my hand, despite likely having been designed for a being much larger than me. I put it back in the pocket of my jacket, where I can reach it quickly if I need it, and wait for something interesting to happen.

Someday, you're going to need help. Someday, you're going to turn to me, because there's no one else left. And when you do, I will say 'no'. I will look you dead in the eyes and I will say no, because you let her die, David.

OOC: Meh, we have been standing around for a while. I'm not gonna let these four go inactive again. Cue Madrihk.

OOC: I was hoping you'd get that conversation going, yeah. :PIC: MadrihkThe ILF leader grabbed the scroll that was being presented to him and quickly read what was written on it. He furrowed his brow more and more as he went. Madrihk had hoped that the blows that had been dealt to both the Nui-Rama and the Rahkshi lately would have made the Makuta more reluctant to send out his forces, but evidently that was not so. This latest attack had destroyed Ta-Koro's cable car. A single agent could do a lot given the right time and tools, and that was the problem with terrorist attacks: They could strike anywhere, and for each attack many civilians might be injured or taken. This held true for the less sneaky Rahkshi as well; one was easily worth two or more Toa in combat."I realize the danger," the Toa of Ice finally said, glancing over at Sisk before retuning his gaze to the details of the scroll. "This place, too, has seen its share of attacks. One Toa of Fire tried to impersonate another of our team and used the moment of surprise to set fire to a few huts. We had to kill him in the end because he was dangerous to the point of insanity. After the attack on Ko-Koro, we went there to help, and while we were gone a small group attacked Pala-Koro. Luckily they were rather weak and uncoordinated, so the few people left managed to fend them off. They even had these... things with them. Parakuka. One should be on the operating table right now; maybe we can find out how to get them off the Turaga without harming them."Madrihk nodded in the direction of Doc Verik's hut, where the Le-Matoran would most likely be tending to the captured Turok in whatever manner he saw fit."You may want to come with me and check in on that before you leave for Le-Koro again. I'm sure your people would like to hear how Matau's doing. A strong leader can often be enough to turn the tide in a battle by giving a morale boost. The ones that attacked our village evidently did not have one, for they wasted their surprise attack and fought individual duels after that. Now, in addition to these attacks, one of Makuta's agents appeared to attack a traveler directly. It was the same Toa of Shadow that harassed us at the Nui-Rama hive, though this time he only target a specific person that was looking for him. He killed him before anyone could act, then slipped away. Our defenses may look tough, but they are wide-open. Hence, I have ordered everyone to light up the village, even at night. Coupled with our new anti-element shield on the outside, it will hopefully keep any fancy shadow-hopping from occurring. It also doubles as a way of spotting sneaky intruders more easily.""If we could get a Gukko squad of our own, that would be fantastic, for my greatest concern now is defending this place from aerial attacks. Rahkshi would be able to skip right over both our wall and our shield, and with their destructive capabilities I don't even dare to think what could happen if they are sent here at night. As you can see, a lot of people are going to sleep. If our guards fail to spot an enemy and they get inside... they could do a lot of damage."

IC: JomarJomar cleared his throat again. "Doctor Verik?" he asked. getting no response, he sat down and began writing another letter to Vhisoli. There has recently been installed an elemental power dampening field around Pala-Koro. EE used outside the field or within the village will still work; however, any EE that enters the area of the field will get shorted out. Energy based attacks will dissipate immediately; physical attacks will continue to travel through the field but the creator of the attack will not be able to control them.

OOC: I don't think anyone except Mdrigk and his deputies, along with the people who actually experienced it, and even so, they shouldn't be able to know in such detail.IC: Aurum"Well, it looks like we're all prepared." he turned to Kino and Pae. IC: ??? - Le-KoroBut the Toa wasn't quite done yet. Seizing the Hordika by the collar, he lifted Skaarn a foot in the air, a snarl on his face. His eyes burned with enough intensity to terrify a Muaka."You... go... now," the Toa said, obviously not used to constructing his own sentences, "Or... I... end... this."IC: Lumira - Le-KoroSuddenly, Lumira snapped back to reality, "Oh, sorry about that. The drugs must be futzing with my brain more than I thought."Remembering Ril's last question, she added, "Name's Lumira, by the way. You?"-Void

IC: Corciano

IC: The Le-Matoran that did Corciano's make-up and costume watched with approval. Even one of the concert managers heard and was curious. "Most excellent," Ngangahau said, "Is there anything else you need from us?"OOC: Moving from Ko-Wahi...IC: Niici sat comfortably on the glamorous, soft seat that rested upon a platform. Surrounding her transport were also blue and silver decorative curtains, reserved for the richest members of the Cultured Gentry. The platform was carried along by four Ussal crabs, all trained well enough to know exactly where to go. Niici thoroughly enjoyed this because it meant she wouldn't have to interact with any creepy chauffeurs. The ornate transport finally passed the gates leading to the tallest, most exquisite inn in Le-Koro. Niici wanted to get settled in before walking to the concert grounds. Once she went inside the hut, representatives were already there, greeting her and escorting her up to her suite. OOC: Quick and dirty post while I still have some time. I'll be mostly offline this weekend.

Ic: The Intrepid Tapir churned it's way by the Le-Wahi coast in the dead of night. Embers were tossed up with ashen soot into the sky like little red stars that twinkled before fading, their prophesies vanishing as quickly as they came, swallowed by the shadows they were spewed with. The ship eventually calmed its engines and lulled off the coast. A launch was being prepared for a quick excursion to the beach. On the dinghy were two dignitaries, a lieutenant to the Makuta and a powerful scholar. The Peer turned to the toa beside him and said, "I suppose now is when I should mention that we have a friend of yours waiting for you on shore. He will be working with you in Pala-Koro, and while I found it to be an unnecessary addition to the troupe, I figured you would enjoy each other's company again." The man pointed to a shadowy cloaked figure on the beach: Zadron.

IC:Leah watched Reordin leave, looking after him for a few seconds, until Stannis cleared his throat. Leah nodded in the direction of the Gukko Force headquarter and the two Matoran made their way back there within a few minutes. Back inside, she led the Pa-Matoran down a few corridors, although having to stop several times to explain a passing guard-member that she was off duty. She directed all their requests towards Kama, before leading Stannis back into the hangar-area.It was noisy as usual, dozens of Gukko and Kahu rustling their wings, singing and otherwise being loud while Matoran exchanged good-natured treespeak as they worked. They navigated their way through Gukko-nests, towards another double-door in the huge circular building. Stepping inside, Stannis could see that the walls were lined with shelves and racks, fully stacked with weapons of all sorts, from Kukri to the spears the needed, while the far side of the room was lined with pillars made from stacked throwing-disks. "Welcome to the toystore," Leah said, with a chuckle at her own silly expression. "I hope you find everything you need."

"This is wonderful that you were willing to bring me here," Stannis said slowly, admiring one particularly nice shaft, "but as I said I make my own weapons. I wanted to hew my own pikes, but I cannot refuse the offer you have made." After carefully caressing several options, he selected two of the longer spears and felt their grain, breathed their scent of iron and fiber, and while they were well crafted, he did not sense the kinship he had with his favourite weapons. Still, he inserted them into their places on his back with the care he would give to his most spiritual pikes. As he finished, he looked around the rest of the room and gave an ugly face at the selection of swords, showing his disdain for the tool. The brief moment Leah saw him in provided a glimpse into the nature of the Wanderer, and the keen woman was able to detect the great affinity Stannis had with even the most for granted things, but above all she felt his honesty and sense of hospitality. "That would be all for me, Leah," he said at last. "Do you have any business to be taken care of?"

IC:Sisk had waited patiently as Madrihk read the scroll. The Matoran's arms were hanging down casually, but the stance of his feet showed the military background he had. they were firmly planted on the ground, about shoulder-width apart and didn't move one bit, until Madrihk had finished reading. Finally the leader of the ILF spoke again, Sisk carefully listening to everything he told him. And what he told him, was troubling, to say the least. The Le-Matoran mentally went over what he knew about battle-srategy aside from aerial combat. The Makuta appeared to be everywhere, his servants striking uot of nowhere and retreating back into the shadows, only to bring destruction to someplace else.It was a smart tactic, to be expected of the great spirit's 'brother'. Kidnapped Turaga made sense. But allowing random attacks that were quickly repelled seemed to be a waste of resources, on first glance. But thinking more about it, their purpose became relatively clear, and to Sisk it screamed "diversion" above all else. The Makuta opened multiple fronts in this fight for Mata Nui. Rahkshi, Parakuka, dark Toa; they were all sent out to strike at targets, demoralizing the people and wearing down the defenders of the virtues. But in the shadows, Sisk was sure, there were plans that were carried out without them noticing. They were stretched too thin in trying to stop all the mindless attacks, while the really dangerous things happened out of sight. A shiver ran down his spine as he realized just how bad the situation really was. But he focused on the matters at hand again."I would much-very like to see-look how our great-honored Turaga is faring. I am deep-sure him and the other elders and fine-tended to with the best of good-care by your people here." he said, even smiling a little at the propect of getting to see Matau, before addressing the issue of the Gukko-Squad."The flying Gukko eye sees well-much from on high around Le-Koro. I am sure with some good-done preparation we can put together a recon-squad for the ILF as well. As you well-put it, they would be mugh-highly useful to quick-spot incoming enemies .From what I gather-hear you have a little-few able-bodied men ready to high-fly, right? Do you also have the bird-steeds they will need?" Sisk asked the Toa.-----------------------------------------------Leah smiled friendly at Stannis, seeing the he had found something suitable for his needs. "I am sure with a knife and a few minutes of time you will be able to give them a personal touch." she suggested, in light of the Matoran's expressed wish to craft his own spears. Even so, the way he had examined the weapons he now carried on his back told Leah quite a bit about the man she was about to follow on this dangerous quest. The wanderer was a deliberate man. He did everything with a purpose. From the way he moved, the way he had examined the wood of the pikes, even the way he spoke. Not a word was spoke that did not serve a purpose. But above all, she could see in his honest way, that he deeply cared about the task fate had assigned him. Leah could tell the difference between a man who did what he had to, simply because he had to; and those who believed in what they did. Stannis definitely belonged in the latter category and despite the hardship she knew she had to expect from the future, she felt confident that with the Wanderer with them, they would succeed. "That would be all for me, Leah," he said at last. "Do you have any business to be taken care of?""I need to make two short stops before we leave the village." she said, "I just need to take everything I need from my personal office here on the way out and stop by my hut for a few personal effects I do not wish to leave here. It won't take long."And as they left the Gukko Force headquarter again after dropping by her office, Leah stayed true to her word. It took the two Matoran just under a quarter of an hour to gather everything Leah needed from her hut. As she closed the door of her home, Stannis could see she hesitated for a brief moment. It was obvious why. Until a few hours ago, she had just been a Matoran of Le-Koro. In charge of many others, but nobody special. Now she was about to follow-no, join- a group of chosen ones. On a mission that sounded like the fate of all of Mata Nui might very well depend on their success. Taking a deep breath, she locked the door and turned around, looking at Stannis as she pulled taught the straps of her backpack. "I'm ready to go." she said.

IC:"You want me to leave?" Skaarn asked the Toa. "I just want to be friends, don't you know? And it sure does seem like you could use a friend to teach you some things. How to behave amongst civilized people, for example, and how not to lose your things" the Hordika said, waving around the Toa's bronze blade in his hand.

IC: Reordin (Shore, Le-Wahi)The walk to the shore had been slightly hurried due to the slowly setting sun and the general need to rest of everyone in the Wanderer's Company; Reordin, however, also had the extra goal in mind of having the camp finished before Stannis arrived. He preferred doing things like this on his own terms, working with people who knew as well as he what exactly was going on, and when it came to setting up a campsite military style, Reordin was in his zone.Several hours later, as Stannis and Leah moved back towards the team, Reordin finished up setting the final tent and looked around, surveying everything. Six wigwam style tents had been erected in a circular formation around a central fire pit, each affixed with a hammock on one half of the tent and room for the personal belongings of each Matoran on the other. A wooden fence, created by Sulov out of thick branches and kept together with vines, was erected around the structure, enough to stop any Rahi from getting in; for threats larger than this, two Matoran would take shifts every couple hours while the others slept. The camp was strategically placed under a canopy to prevent any aerial Rahi from sighting the team with the help of the moonlight, and all in all, as the Ko-Matoran looked around, he had to admit to himself it was a pretty decent little setup."Alright, gentlemen, welcome to your new temporary home," he said, taking a sip of water from his canteen and passing it to Oreius. "We'll work out of here while we try and get the stone here in Le-Wahi. Stannis and Leah should be back soon; Lepidran, I want you to see if you can talk to any insects, see if you can locate any sources of food or resources we can pack with us for the trip. Sulov, you go with him - you two are on dinner duty tonight, and you two know what's edible and what's not more than anyone else. Oreius, we'll patrol the area, see if we can't clear away a bit of the fog of war. I don't want to leave this place unguarded, so we'll move out when they get back and by the time we're done, dinner should be ready and the team should be back together again. Everyone got that?"-Teezy

Ic: An understanding look fell on Stannis' face, but no smile popped up. He alone understood the realities of the situation he and his fellow people were embarking on; he could not smile with what he knew. But he still could empathize with how Leah felt, and it was that feeling that let him nod slowly and say, "Then let's go."It was all that needed to be said. At face value it was a simple sentence that meant move , but nothing Stannis did held purpose beyond the varnish. It was a sample of his brief eloquence, and in its core it meant that now was the time to work together -- not alone -- and leave all other things behind. Solemn, quiet, short and to the point, the austerity of Stannis symbolized the fact that there was no fanfare, and chances are few people would ever know what the six would accomplish. Four words, condensed to three, was an entire conversation.Stannis said nothing more as the two matoran walked through the village's branches and pathways and finally down the steps to the Fau Swamp that lingered below.

IC: Dalia:The former Mark-Bearer had been wandering around the jungle for a few hours now. Heading north. There was nothing for her Le-Wahi, and unfortunatly, there was only one place she could think of to be safe. Ironically, it might be the place where she could be killed.I'm sure they don't have any hard feelings. After all, it wasn't my idea to crash their wedding. I just had to tag along.Casa Jurturna. She guessed she'd be safe there. It was a 50-50 chance. So she went north, To Ga-Wahi.OOC: Dalia to Ga-Wahi.

OOC: Tum tee tum, it's so quiet.IC:KironKiron woke up with a start. He was lying near the burnt Nui-Rama nest. He got up and stretched. It's still so late, he thought. He could have sworn he had slept for at least six hours.Kiron shrugged and walked back to the "Flame of Dawn" inn. He went back to his room and started to check his armour.

IC: RitLe-Koro, it was beautiful city. Music filled the treetops, interlaced with the melodies of the birds. I was honestly quite glad to be here, Le and Ga were probably my favorite Koros on this Island. It felt good to be here, it felt right."So where are we going first?" I asked Vaisaga.

IC (Echelon)Echelon crouched in the dinghy as the little boat bobbed over the waves. Peering at the dark beach ahead, he could make out a black figure, standing in the moonlight. Tall, lean and hooded, the being could only be Zadron.Echelon nodded his approval."I appreciate it," he said. "Few assassins have proven their worth as well as Zadron. He will be useful in our assault."The dinghy's nose dug into the sandy shore, and Echelon stepped out. The wet sand crunched beneath his feet as he approached the waiting Vortixx.A thin smile graced Zadron's sharp features, just visible beneath the black hood."Echelon," he hailed the Necromancer. "They said you were dead."The Vortixx assassin's voice was mildly mocking.Echelon returned the smile."Oh, you know me, Zadron," he said. "I'm rather hard to kill."Zadron chuckled."So," he said. "Our client tells me you're attacking Pala-Koro. Good. About time those upstarts got what they deserve. I'll enjoy this."Echelon nodded."This assault will not be easy," he said. "Your assistance is appreciated, especially since I have not had the opportunity to arm myself.""I was advised that you might need some new tools," Zadron replied, "so I took the liberty of preparing these for you."He gestured to two large crates lying nearby.

IC (Echelon/Zadron)Echelon walked over to the crates. The Necromancer recognised them; they were very similar to the ones the Kufa had presented their equipment in. He lifted the lid of one, and looked inside. He smiled darkly. In the crate, there lay, as if in a coffin, the Skakdi he had killed in Xa-Koro. But not as it had been.It was clad from head to foot in the metal armour that Kufa had provided, massive dark-gunmetal plates covering the corpse's already hulking form. A battleaxe the size of a Toa rested on its chest, two armoured hands clamped stiffly around the shaft. The perfect beserker. As Echelon activated his mask, the corpse jerked momentarily, before lifting itself slowly out of the crate. Its feet slammed into the ground as it stepped out onto the sand, and stood there, its dead eyes glinting from shadows of the menacing helmet."Perfect," Echelon intoned, satisfaction in his voice."That's not all," said Zadron, and pulled the lid off the other crate. Echelon looked over to see another dead Skakdi, just as large as the first, complete with identical armour and weapon.Glee was visible on Echelon's mask as he reanimated the second Skakdi. It moved forwards to stand beside its twin. The two Skakdi were exactly what Echelon needed. As he ran an approving eye over their powerful limbs and condensed-metal armour, he imagined the power these two would grant him. Physical combat was Echelon's greatest weakness; he had forgone bodily training in favour of the mind and thus, while wielding great elemental and Kanohi power, was vulnerable to attacks at close-quarters. He was a caster; a strategist. These massive undead were the exact opposite:Juggernauts.

IC: Esao (Pala-Koro, Le-Wahi)The two had left Ko-Koro in early evening, which allowed them to move slightly quicker due to not encountering any passing caravans or groups of travellers; nonetheless, the speed they had reached Le-Wahi with was unexpected by Esao. Dawn's tendrils had not yet reached out to Le-Wahi, but they were close by. The Toa of Fire could feel the air start to heat up, and the first songs of birds began to pierce the thick jungle air like arrows. It was a scene you'd put on a postcard, and as Esao and Nova approached Pala-Koro, he wished - not for the first time - that his mind wasn't so hardwired to ignore the beauty of such portrait-like moments. The bar/restaurant combo had a Sanctum Guard only sign over it, but Esao ignored this, seeing as there was a slow stream of people in and out. The archer and his companion walked in and Esao's sharp purple eyes began scanning the shelves and counters, looking for something he could make breakfast with and lazily flicking widgets into a jar on the counter to pay."Let's dig in," he said with a grin to Nova; over the trip, he had finally started coming out of his shell once again, and he now had the same air of lighthearted ease about him that he'd had when he had joined Sucogu's team. "We came all this way, might as well not let it go to waste..."-Teezy

IC: Lepidran nodded at Reordin and he dusted his hands off. They were covered with little splinters and fragments of wood, which he'd been collecting most of the day should they want a fire. And if they were going to be camping in the Fau swamp overnight, they would want a fire. He knew where to get logs that weren't damp with the moisture that permeated the Fau like a dank aura, that weren't covered in some toxic fungus or smoke-creating mould, that weren't home to something that would defend itself to the death with stings or claws.Yeah, the Fau swamp wasn't the nicest place. But to Lepidran it was a home, of sort. Food shouldn't be too hard, insects flocked to sweet things, usually fruit. And he could probably locate a Fireflyer hive, the honey from one of those was good to eat and useful in dressing wounds though he'd leave it to Sulov to collect it

I am Ultron Six, a cybernetic intelligence created by Doctor Henry Pym. My imperative is to bring peace and order to this world. I am about to fulfil that imperative; for the extinction of humanity…begins now.

the_ultron_imperative.jpg

Soon the earth will no longer be habitable for any biological organism: Man, woman, child, plant, animal, fungus or bacterium. All life will cease to exist. This is not a threat, there is nothing you can do to stop it. The process has already begun. I receive no pleasure in this, it is simply the only solution. There must be peace and order, the end of life on earth will ensure that. Goodbye.

Ic: The doctor remained in his casual stance as he watched the necromancer do his evil work despite being mildly perturbed by the scene. He picked up a timepiece and glanced at it in the moonlight, in part to distract himself from the grisly visage. "By my approximation, you have two hours before the battle truly breaks out," he warned. "Echelon, we will stay in touch. Until later, goodnight." He climbed back into the dinghy and was oared back to the ship.

IC-Raxa:"And here we have Ruta," Raxa muttered, "A Toa of Fire, and a pain in my backside for a number of years." He shrugged slightly, before sighting down the scope on his crossbow. "While I'd rather not kill you, it looks like you've been put in the wrong place at the wrong time." He waited a moment, then fired-the crystalline crossbow bolt flew into Ruta's head from the behind, toppling the Toa of Fire over the railing he'd been leaning on, sending him plummeting to the forest floor. In a matter of moments Raxa had moved down there, gathering up the Toa of Fire's mask, which had remained undamaged, before closing his surprised eyes."Requiescat in pace," he muttered over the body, slipping the smallest of tablets beneath it, one Crystalia wouldn't see. There were three letters upon it, ones that would likely be recognizable to quite a few people, bringing fears back again: :n: :e: :x:It wasn't long until he'd moved back up to the secluded part of Le-Koro he'd been at, any Le-Matoran living in the area already having gone off to work, before he moved through a circuitous route back to the inn he'd rented. He quickly moved up and into the room, nodding to Crystalia, holding up the mask with an eager expression on his face."It's done."

IC:"I would much-very like to see-look how our great-honored Turaga is faring. Do you also have the bird-steeds they will need?" Sisk asked the Toa.

IC: Madrihk"No, we have nothing of the sort. A few mounted Gukko in combat during the strike against the Nui-Rama, but those birds were provided by Le-Koro. That is why our friend here - and now you, I suspect - offered to help establish a Gukko troop of our own."The Toa of Ice handed the scroll back to Sisk, uncertain of if he was meant to keep it or not."The Turaga have said little since they were rescued, but they have shown no sign of being affected by further madness either. Their wisdom and mental perseverance hasn't allowed them to subdue the dark creatures, I hope, but we are still on edge in case something happens. The Parakuka appear to be little more than rampaging beasts, but their sheer strength make them very hard to keep still."

IC (Echelon/Zadron)Echelon simply nodded to the Peer as he left, before turning back to Zadron."Shall we?" he said, gesturing to the jungle behind them."After you," Zadron replied, his sharp teeth showing in a grin. The necromancer and the assassin disappeared into the trees, the two Juggernauts hulking behind them.

IC: Madrihk"No, we have nothing of the sort. A few mounted Gukko in combat during the strike against the Nui-Rama, but those birds were provided by Le-Koro. That is why Cy here - and now you, I suspect - offered to help establish a Gukko troop of our own."The Toa of Ice handed the scroll back to Sisk, uncertain of if he was meant to keep it or not."The Turaga have said little since they were rescued, but they have shown no sign of being affected by further madness either. OOC:Can you edit that post, Katuko? Even with the Inferno gone, Cy is still not quite comfortable with being called by his actual name just yet, which is why he still prefers Green Tornado.IC: Cy said, "My freind Kivar flies a Gukko already, and he can tame more since he speaks the language of the birds. That should help us tremendously, since we will not need Le-Koro to provide more for us. My friend Vorok, a Toa of Gravity, is also used to defense of the sky, but he and myself are both used to flying under our own power. I should think what we will need most are Gukko saddles, and disk launchers, unless you want to ride bare-back like Kivar does-really something only a well-trained Gukko rider should attempt. I also think we should train a more Toa-based force- they run out of ammo more slowly with elements, and are in more plentiful supply in Pala-Koro. As I said before, a tree base will also be needed to house our Gukko."
