  1. Darnit, Takuma! Here I was, finally fully recovered from the last time my brain tried to grasp extensive awesomeness, and then you had to go and make it explode all over again! Now my brains and bits of skull are scattered everywhere and I have to pick it all up and get out the superglue again... *Walks away headless and grumbling.*

  2. I'm not a big fan of their older albums, but I love Collide, Comatose, and Awake. Music-wise, they're heavy enough to deserve headbanging without being screamy. Lyric-wise, you can always find at least one song that associates with your current mood. Love, despair, anger, depression... or feeling like a monster.

Also, they are amazing live. <3

Also-also, they are the only band I know who can make violins rock.

Really, though, I guess what it comes down to is I like them because they meet something inside me. Everyone has their own ingrained music likes, and Skillet is one of the bands that I can listen to and thoroughly enjoy.

  3. It's pretty good, but none of the ads mention the automatic aging software... after you've been playing for some time, other players observe noticeable and often unflattering changes to your avatar that you never downloaded or added. These are often difficult, if not impossible, to reset.

Furthermore, there are no save points. Should you take a risk, for example, in the "stock market" area of the game and then lose all your Money, you can't reload from a previous point. Regaining all the Money is exceedingly tedious. Nor is there currently a shortcut to buy more Money with real cash.

  4. Omega Blademan: Noze, I haven't, but I definitely should sometime. They are so cool-looking! Also, thanks for the approval. ^^

    Neelh: Yay glomps! X3

    Emo Sewa: Woooobuffet! *salute*

Jordboy: I put every single quote content block I could find back, just for you. =D

  5. It's not too hard to get used to. The only problem is when you're browsing DeviantArt or some such art site and keep coming across some artists who draw them the usual style and some who draw them manga-style, and none of them explain which they're using... I have actually read many comics backwards and not even realized it until halfway through. <=D

  6. That totally explained it. By the end of Bionicle, I felt like something was missing, but couldn't really figure it out. You totally hit the nail on the head, though. Like, with a sledgehammer.

Bionicle was so interesting because it was brimful of heroes with mysterious powers and unknown pasts, and a dark and sinister being who could cause so much damage from his little hiding place, and a big tropical island with every climate imaginable, and armies of bug-like creatures that poured from the depths of the earth.

I suppose as some things got explained or ignored (sort of like LOST XD), it partly satisfied fans, but at the same time took away a lot of what originally attracted them. Makuta lost so much of his evil, omnipresent feeling when he had a name and a race, and when him being Mata Nui's brother was brushed aside as, "Oh, he was just being figurative and delusional."

Plus, the characters we originally started with were left behind, then brought back, then left behind, until there were so many characters in so many different universes that, by 2009, (speaking only for myself here) I was having a hard time keeping track of who was evil and if they even were evil and what they looked like and whether they had appeared previously in the storyline. I never did properly learn the names of those Glatorian... sorry, Glatorian...

So the point of all this is to give you a huge wall of text explaining how you're right. XP

  7. Blink. <3

I've found that to be extremely useful when it comes to immersing total non-fans into the Doctor Who universe. It requires very little background knowledge to understand, and it's even creepier for the poor aforementioned non-fans who don't know that the bad guys are always aliens.

But it's also just an awesome episode.

I thought they also did an amazing job in bringing back the angels, yet not making them just feel re-used, like some of the aliens. They added a whole new dimension to their dangerousness besides being guaranteed winners at staring contests, and once again kept us at the edges of our seats.

  8. This argument is used particularly in science fiction films, when there are scientific flaws that just stick out like sore thumbs. Some people will notice them and it kind of takes away from the film. In my case, I'm thinking of Avatar particularly.

Avatar certainly had some. XD A friend of mine pointed out a few. For example, why is it they can't breathe the planet's atmosphere, and yet can fly in an open helicopter without breathing devices?

Also, if they know that animals are going to attack them, why do they bring such horribly useless guns?

Anyways, I totally agree with you. Sometimes I wonder if script writers should hire people to not only make sure their story follows the rules of physics, but also lines up with rules or statements they themselves made previously.
