My expression was pained, and angry.

 

"How could you just run away like that?! Do you have any idea how worried I was?!"

 

IC Percy:

 

"I told you, I'm not giving up!"

 

Fluids oozed from his hand, but Percy pushed the pain away. His hand would be fine. For now. 

 

He lunged forward once more in an overhead slash.

Hoto backed away towards Jayar, not wanting to be caught in the way of Kat's frustration.

"I've done my part," Fang concluded. "But you...are a better leader than I could ever be. Now... I'm just the mascot."

Shield began to walk off. "Tell me when Johmak gets here, I've got stuff to do."

"Oh no you don't," I stepped into Shield's path, "Every time one of you lot wanders off on your own, something like that," I jabbed a finger towards the chunks of broken ice lying scattered around Fang, "happens."

Kat was talking with Fang now, it seemed.

 

But now Shield needed to be talked to... again. "Shield," Jayar called over to him, "where are you going? What we're all waiting for is the most important thing for us in this whole city right now, and it could arrive at any moment - and probably be rather disappointed if we aren't all here. Not to mention the danger in wandering off alone; you should be more aware of that than anyone. What 'stuff' are you possibly hoping to do that's worth taking those risks?"

 

He was trying to sound more curious and concerned than irritated, but it was a little difficult. Jayar really would have thought between nearly dying and Kamanau, Shield would have learned at least something about unity, and it was incredibly disappointing to see that he still was intent upon abandoning his comrades for (as far as Jayar could discern) less than no good reason at all. At least he should be a little more cooperative with Jayar, whose mind he had shared, than with a somewhat blunt Xara... then again, maybe not. He should have been done with this silly randomly leaving thing, too.

I almost tackled the new guy before he started laughing and hugging four arms. Note to self: Get his name.

"Friend of yours?" I asked arms.

"You could say that..." Xi grumbled as Hollow rubbed a fist into his shoulder.

"So, how long you been here, Xi? last i checked, they didn't carry lightsabers! Ahaha!!!"

 

He didn't notice Xi's utterly confused expression.

Xara's words flashed through his head once again.

 

"You've really got him wrapped around your finger, haven't you?"

 

How could he explain how those words tormented him? How, despite how they were there for each other through Omega's death and every trial that followed, being with her made him feel...

 

...weak.

 

He couldn't. And so he remained silent, wishing they would just leave him to his brooding.

I turned around.

"Very well. In case you haven't already heard, I'll pay clientele with chemical concoctions or whatever you find on the venture."

I nodded and I continued flying.

IC Pentaghast:

 

"What manner of chemical concoctions?"

IC: Alpha/Hallways

I left the infirmary and aimlessly roamed the halls.

After that shocking answer, I found myself even more doubtful of myself. And there was no one who could help me.

 

What should I do?

 

IC: Carapace/Around the Village

We exited the forest and I took a turn to go around the village ruins. I smiled to Sim.

"Sure. Sounds like a good idea. How do you think we'll find them though?"

 

IC: Helix/Gym, Talking to Pentaghast

It depends on what you like and what I have on hand. From what I can imagine I'll be able to get, I think healing salves, burning sprays, smokescreens, painkillers, and potentially an alcohol based explosive or oil based incendiary.

"I'm tired of fools like you and Shield costing us time, anguish and our potential safety. If you can't or won't do what needs to be done... Then get out of here. Now."

I winced as she tried to put a hand over my shoulder and I stepped away. After all I've been through, my trek through the ruins and the recent assignment, I wasn't really willing to let anyone touch me regardless of the context and circumstance.

 

"Aa-a-anyways. So I take it that you will follow me in exploring the mainland."

 

I put out a hand to shake on the deal.

As he slashed horizontally, Pyre parried with my scythes deflecting the attack away. Pyre then attempted to slash Percy's chest with the blade of his scythe.

Percy slipped his blade from the remaining kama, and thrust with all his might at Pyre's chest as the swung kama bit into his own.

 

IC Pentaghast: 

 

Seemingly unperterbed by her inabilty to get her arm around the Rahk in time, she clasped the hand in a satisfied manner.

 

"You got yourself a deal."

I began to move to the side, intending to once again put myself in his path, but Cao's words gave me pause. 

 

Not so long ago, I'd been saying the exact same things. I'd basically told Kat and the others to let Shield die, so we wouldn't have to worry about him running off again and compromising the mission... like he was trying to do right now...

 

"Kat?" I put myself in Shield's way again, uncertain. Kat wanted us to be unified, to work together, but this selfish moron apparently didn't want any part of that, in spite of everything that had happened, the effort the others had put into saving his sorry life. Part of me wanted nothing more than to step aside and let him walk off to his doom, but the rest of me knew Kat likely wouldn't forgive me if I didn't at least try. "Kat!"

Shield sighed. "Fine." He crossed his arms and went back to standing silently.

I started to grin. This guy's enthusiasm was infectious, it really got into me. I chuckled again. Another thing was his light saber comment. That sounded like something I had heard, but definitely not around town.

"Well, good enough for me. Wha's your name brother?"

Pyre tried to jump back, but the blow could not be avoided. He jumped backwards, but simply the length of the blade allowed it to pierce his chest (although not all the way due to his jump). He forced himself back and the blade slipped out of his chest. He felt the blood coming out of his chest, but he tried his best to hide the pain.

 

He must be gripping that blade pretty tightly if it's not slipping out of his hand. I can use that for my advantage.

IC: I did not ask for your opinion. Icarax's reply to Vinna was sharp and curt. You are not in possession of all the facts, and have no insight into my thoughts. Your opinion therefore, is close to worthless and I would thank you not to volunteer it unsought for in future.

 

Rail returned to being the object of Icarax's attention.

 

You on the other hand have earned genuine thanks. Is there some favour you would ask in return for the information and your service?

 

 

IC: The wind seemed to pick up a little in Malebranche, carrying with it the stench of sulphur from deep down in the caldera, the heat of the magma that flowed through the city's veins, soot and ash that marred everything with black and angry stains. It also brought Johmak.

When she reformed from the cloud of crystals she flew as she took the shape of a Vortixx, not the Rahkshi she had been last time, but the same snowflake patches of white adorned her eyes.

 

"I assume this means you have decided?"

Swarm crossed her arms. "Well for starters, you kept fainting and falling over, which may explain the headache," She explained. "And then you kind of transformed into... this thing. Did you forget to tell me something, Moonlight?"

To be fair, the Rahkshi's sudden attack kind of caught him off guard. as the sword hit his torso, he instantly shot up and balled his fists, ready to make another move. "Hey, if you wanted to spar, you could've just asked!" he said, a little ticked off about his foe's dirty move

It's time to fight! (Just to clear things up, was Malady intending the attack to be lethal, is Arsenal standing up and shrugging off the hit acceptable as he's mostly mechanical, or not allowed?)

(Also, If Arsenal either dies or gets horribly injured in this fight, expect Swarm to go out for Malady's blood...)

"Oh for the love of everything unholy and dark, could you please shut up and have a family reunion elsewhere?" I grumble at Hollow and Xi, slamming my book shut. The fact that I was telling someone else to shush was a bad sign- By Tridax's nostrils, was I getting soft?

I sigh, and turn away. No spars today. Silently, I exit the gym, and jump onto the ceiling, before making my way to the library.

 

IC: Draco

I enter the gym, where I see some of my fellow prefects confronting a pair. Frowning, I move over to them, standing at the back of the group.

 

IC: Malattia

I stay silent as Haru lands lifelessly at the edge of the Causeway. I'd have to get that back to Teer... If she could ever forgive me. "Well, that situation behind us, I say we get back inside. Don't want some rabid Rahi divebombing u-" Unfortunately for me, that happened. A black smoke hawk flies straight towards me. Yelping, I hit the deck. The bird then... Lands on my back, as if I'm a perch. Wow. I should learn to shut my mouth... "Ravyn!" A voice calls out, almost like a croak. At this, the bird flies off my back, to a black, sad looking Rahkshi.

 

IC: Leviathan

I let go of my blade. How... Unexpected... "Ah... Of course. I cannot currently aid you, as I have other maters to attend to." With that, I turn to my dorm. I knew I was giving up a body, though not to Icarax, obviously. The fact that he was dragging the body away from his office... It didn't matter. I had to keep a low profile.

"Sorry about that." I say as Ravyn flies back onto my shoulder. "Ravyn gets... Excited when he meets new Rahkshi, and since we haven't seen any for so long.... Well, he was enthusiastic." Ravyn caws in agreement. "Anyways, my name is Revenant."

"Off to the gym to meet Icarax."

 

He dragged the body towards his dorm (which was in the direction of the gym). As he opened the door, he looked around to check for any followers then quickly shut it.

 

"Now where shall I begin..."

This time Pyre was ready to dodge out of the way. He jumped to his right. He had to be careful not to tire himself out.

Appearance: White/grey with green eyes and an abstract armour decal on her right forearm.

 

Personality: Nenriki is normally confident,strong and a pretty alright person overall. But,as her variation suggests,has huge anger issues. The slight insult can make her get violent very quickly.

 

Bio: Nenriki does quite a lot of sports and spends most of her time at the gym.

She doesn't really have any friends as of yet,due to her anger problems mostly,people try to avoid her.
