Of course, you'll have to convince him of that first, but as far as places to approach him safely go, an Infirmary bed is one of your best bets. Especially with friends there. Now for a helpful pet, stick with what Rider has: an ussal crab, and name it Chomp, because it would bite your characters hand to memorize you! I have long thought ussal crabs can see, fight, smell, and memorize through taste, sight, and smell. Also for the directly above, name the toad...Lux. Exxan will start treating Omega better just as soon as Omega gives him a reason to do so. From day one, Omega has been an absolute dick to Exxan, and it's only gotten worse since Exxan has leveled up. From Exxan's point of view, Omega is insecure and spiteful. Depending on how Omega starts using his newfound powers, that opinion could get better, or much worse... Although Fang did have that big moment back on Nynrah where he accused everyone who came up to him of being a spy for Exxan. That, admittedly, was paranoid. I think the Exxan's worst moment was challenging anyone with an issue to come fight him in the gym, but that was because he'd just overheard someone asking Fang if the mob was still a thing, so it was somewhat justified. Apart from that, he hasn't really done anything paranoid-ish.
