IC(Ismekne): Ismekne's back was hit, and the Toa was sent flying away from Snese. Her back hurt something fierce - in fact, most of her arm muscle was no longer there. Concentrate...

And that's when the massive rush of water burst forth, heading straight for her two enemies. She was going to die. But she would rather die than be taken prisoner. This was a Nova blast. This was the end.

OOC: I'm pretty sure that she's going to die, so yeah. I'm not going to try to magically save her or anything. And Hive and Snese will probably escape...

Yeah no, that bolded bit doesn't work. You can't just decide "I'm going to release a nova blast" and then immediately release said nova blast; they take time to charge up, during which the Toa in question must focus, leaving them vulnerable.

That's aside from the fact that nova blasts are incredibly OP.

I established that she was charging it up a post before. I'd be willing to delay it a post more if that will stop the roaring of complaints.

She would at least try it though, since she threatened to do it a few posts before.

Yeah, I think it would be preferred if you didn't release a cataclysmic attack in two posts. A Nova Blast could easily wipe out most of the Wilted Forest, for reference. Four or five posts would be more reasonable, and I doubt Ismekne would have the concentration to spare to run and dodge all these attacks.

She was charging it up in the post before, then got shot in the back with a gas grenade.

I think something like that would break her focus.

Slight addition to The Puppetmaster's profile based on recent IC events - change has been underlined.

Name: The Puppetmaster.

Species: Great Being.

Power/Weapon 1: Psionics: he is exceptionally skilled in the use of telepathy, illusion and telekinesis, but cannot directly control or attack minds.

Power/Weapon 2: Hardlight rifle: a lightweight, bolt-action weapon that absorbs light from nearby and fires it as a fast-moving hardlight projectile. The weapon can also generate a hardlight bayonet for use in melee combat.

Power/Weapon 3: Ash Transmutation: he can transform body at will into a cloud of ash, which he can then control the flow and direction of using his telekinesis. This power also affects anything in contact with his body (weapons, armour, etc.), but not other beings who may be in contact with him at the time.

Power/Weapon 4: Hidden Blade: originally taken from a slain cultist, he has modified this weapon to be less… self-harming. Integrated into the gauntlet of his left hand, the blade springs out when he clenches his fist and presses down on a button built into the palm. This causes the blade to spring out from a section of the gauntlet near his wrist, extending to about a foot in length.

Appearance: With a similar build and height to a simple Glatorian, The Puppetmaster is covered in smooth, black armour. Due to a previous experiment gone wrong, his skin has taken on the appearance of translucent, electric-blue crystal, through which his bones and internal organs can be seen.

Bio: In his world, every plan to stop the core war and save Spherus Magna failed dismally, accelerating the countdown to the planet’s destruction. In the end, the shattering occurred before the Great Spirit Robot could be completed. When the planet burned, those Great Beings who didn’t perish or go into hiding became gods in the eyes of the surviving inhabitants.

100,000 years passed, the date Mata Nui was supposed to repair the planet came and went, and a new god emerged from self-induced cryogenic hibernation. He entered into a world without hope, torn by strife, and upon seeing the chaos that the works of he and his fellow Great Beings had wrought, something broke inside him.

He set off on a mission to end the new war through whatever means necessary, and sought out the Baterra, which had been shut down and stored away in an underground bunker. He succeeded in fighting his way through the Vorox inhabiting the place and activating the Baterra, but instead of obeying him as he’d reprogrammed them to do, they reverted back to their original function: attack anything with a weapon.

Badly injured in the chaos that followed, he awoke inside the Bionifight Facility. Having been in the audience for many previous tournaments in his youth, he knew full well what to expect, and what would be expected of him.

Personality/Other: His mind twisted by the destruction of Spherus Magna, The Puppetmaster’s original purpose in life - to create and nurture – has been replaced by a drive to control other beings and their creations – and destroy what he can’t control.

In spite of this, he isn’t cruel or callous; nor does he torture his victims – at least not physically. His favourite strategy is to observe his victim’s minds, tricking them into revealing their greatest weaknesses, then using illusions to exploit them. Because he has lost everyone he ever knew and loved, he tries to break his enemies’ wills by making them feel the same.

If approved, I'll edit the new version in over the original profile, and write out him creating the weapon IC.

Marionette Man changes Approved

Trying out a cultist

Name: Gadarene

Species: Matoran

Faction: Vapautti Sielu [sota/Hevias]

Power/Weapon 1: Gadarene is host to the greatest horde of Karzahni, his body and mind home to the some of the worst of the terrible legions that nightmare god possesses. When the need calls for it they take over, transforming him into one of them with a flash of brimstone. He gets their form, their strength, their powers, and, should he suffer any fatal wounds they will take the hit for him. The demon takes the injuries, and is banished back to Karzahni’s dark realm, leaving Gadarene living. Lesser wounds tend to be transferred back to Gadarene’s Matoran body though. Because demons can just be pillocks like that.

Power/Weapon 2: The current alpha demon possessing Gadarene has the elemental control over fire. He can control, create and manipulate fire and heat.

Power/Weapon 3: Heat vision. When using the demon’s form Gadarene can emit powerful thermal blasts, hot enough to bore through metal, from his eyes.

Power/Weapon 4: A large protosteel claw hammer, with a telescoping handle to accommodate Gadarene’s changing height. As a Matoran he generally has to wield it two-handed. In demon-form he can swing it about with one

Appearance: A Po-Matoran, burly and broad of shoulder. His armour is a mixture of browns and tans except for his mask, which is a rich and glossy black, marred only by the flecks of something like rust around his crimson eyes. His demon forms often differ wildly in minor ways (colour, or shape of spine) but generally fit into the same archetype of a burly anthropoid with a toothy grin and oddly twisting external spines, looking much like the Skakdi of other worlds. The current dominant form is deep red, the colour of fresh blood, with dark grey plating, its spine-crests vicious hooks.

Bio: Gadarene hails from a world in which Matoran are the only sapient species. Even the number of Rahi species is notably fewer than in other universes. As such, the Matoran live relatively peaceful and prosperous lives, happily working away, spending time with their families, and worshipping their gods.

Ah, yes, the gods. The gods of this universe abide on a different plane of existence entirely, but can make their will known through various small deeds. They might be invoked through prayers or curses, pleading and begging, to lend their aid or send down their wrath. Their names would be familiar to other dimensions: Mata Nui the Bright and Shining; the dark and dread Makuta; Artahka the Maker and Mender; Karzahni the Lord of all things Twisted and Broken; the enigmatic Spectral Mask who hides his name and face; and ancient Tren Krom who waits dreaming. These six figures all have their place in the world, but are frequently involved in power plays against each other for reasons that are often enigmatic and mysterious. Their ability to affect the Matoran’s plane is limited, the games of the god require servants to do their bidding, Matoran able to hear their commands and willing to follow them. But there is one trick the gods can pull. Each has access to an endless army of spirits, ethereal beings that infest their pocket demesne like dust afflicts the material world. They can control these spirits, send them out to a host Matoran who will then be able to physically transform into that spirit, gaining its powers in the process.

Gadarene originally came from a small town nestled between four mountains, renowned for the skill of its carvers. Gadarene was not one of these carvers. He was the one who mined the rocks and brought them to the carvers. Resentment for his role rotted his heart from within, until jealousy and envy overtook him. He turned to the dark god Karzahni begging that he blight and curse the works of his hated betters. His wish was granted, but possibly not quite in the way he expected.

Normally the higher beings that play their games using this universe only send one signature spirit to aid their servitors. Mata Nui’s disciples are known for turning into seven foot humanoids with elemental powers and blessed Kanohi, Artahka’s for being possessed by tall and stately beings with a gift for mechanics and wheels of energy at their disposal, the Makuta favours hunched reptilians with a back full of spines and enormously destructive powers. Karzahni’s deranged choir is made of mad brutes, all twisted spikes, jagged teeth and bulging muscle. And Karzahni didn’t send just bestow one of these servants upon Gadarene. He sent thousands. Gadarene was merely angry and bitter before, but with the voices of the legion in his head he was pushed over the edge to complete insanity. He wreaked havoc in his hometown before a team of Mata Nui’s chosen drove him off. It was there he learned one of the caveats to his unique situation; he doesn’t die, the demons inside him do. Though a host to hundreds upon hundreds of them, only one can possess him at any time. Should he be ‘killed’ in action, that demon is banished back to its home realm, only for another of the horde to take its place, usually with a new set of powers.

With this ‘immortality’ keeping him safe Gadarene began a small-scale reign of terror around the peninsula he came from, a bandit king that simply wore down all those who opposed him with a seemingly unending array of powers and forms. It was rare that he moved from his mountainous strongholds, even under direct orders from Karzahni, as he found too little satisfaction in even the more successful of his masters schemes. On occasions he did venture abroad he was regarded as a threat to be taken extremely seriously, his capacity for unpredictable destruction met only by the mightiest of other servitors.

He was pulled to the world of Saarella Kirottu years ago, where he quickly distinguished himself in the Sota Games with his capacity for brutality and violence. He has since become one of Hevias’ followers, spending his time prowling the Spine like he once did his mountain home.

Personality/Other: Malicious and devious, Gadarene regards the rest of the world as nothing but a toy to be played with or broken as he sees fit. He bears grudges like others bear scars, old pains that everyone can see. His craving for power is insatiable, and while he normally does his best to sate it by crushing others in combat, it is strongly believed that he hopes the Heralds will one day cleanse his own world of the gods…leaving Gadarene himself the de facto replacement for Karzahni…

This works, I may get his next couple of iterations approved via PM, so in the event that this one gets killed I can just switch to them instantly without having to hold anything up waiting for another approval

Gadarene Not approved. He violates the three slot rule, as well as being literally immortal.

Hey hey, staff. Aiyu got canned, sorry if you wasted time giving thought to his (un)balance.

Name : No Name

Species : Summoned Spirit

Faction : Prisoners

Power/Weapon One : Forgery of Swords. Both a literal and figurative power. No Name is able to perfectly analyze (and store away the information for) any weapon he considers a sword. In doing so, he gains the combat experience of the sword's user(s) and any powers the sword itself may possess. Only a single sword may be prepared at any given time, with more complicated weapons or weapons with longer histories requiring more time to recreate

Power/Weapon Two/Three : A ten count aria he was given after his death. It allows him to actualize his internal world and create a bounded field removed from local space time. From the outside, he and anyone in a ten meter sphere of influence around him disappear from view. Those inside are transported into an arena centered around an abandoned forge.

The forge itself is a large two story building at the end of a cul-de-sac in a town on the cusp of an industrial revolution. The sky is ashen, the temperature high and the scent that of burning iron. The building has a large open room on the bottom floor, this is where the furnace is located. Anvils, tools and weapons of all kinds and at all stages of completion line the walls. Attached to the forge is a simple home, styled as a studio/loft apartment. Outside the forge, the ground is cratered and cracked, evidence of a battle that has passed through and is now raging in the unreachable distance. Weapons without owners and beyond count lay scattered about. They represent all the items that No Name has analyzed and stored for use outside his bounded field.

While his bounded field is manifest, No Name gains the ability to manipulate (limited telekinesis, projectile armament and fire akin to the Kanohi Taiho) the weapons stored inside, up to three at a time. He does not gain the boost detailed in slot one when manipulating weaponry.

To summon the field, he must complete a ten count aria, it does not have to be uninterrupted. He can for example, speak the first several lines, talk with someone or engage in banter and continue on afterwards. Significant injuries will interrupt it, as will sufficiently strong mental attacks or effects. The field will collapse if he is sufficiently injured or allows it to do so. Finally, he is able to speak the first few lines outside the field and separate from the rest of the aria in order to gain a very short (1-2 seconds) Calix-esque boost. For OOC balance reasons, it will take at least three posts to complete his aria and usage of the boost ability will be severely limited in frequency

Appearance : Tall and sturdily built. His armor is all shades of raw metal, varying from the burnt orange of copper or bronze to the dull grey of lead or iridium. Wears a (now powerless) Kakama, silvery grey in color. Despite his classification as a spiritual body, he is very much (biomechanical) flesh and blood

Bio : No Name was once a hero, a man with simple motivations and goals. Near the end of his life, he found himself in a situation in which he was unable to fulfill his destiny. A terrible event was to occur and hundreds, if not thousands would be lost. Wounded and close to dying, he cursed the world, it's cruelty and what he felt was the futility of his actions

The world answered

An unknown entity offered him power to fulfill his destiny in exchange for service after death as a guardian. Filled by a desire to complete his self given, impossible duty and the madness of the martyr, he agreed and was given the strength to save the people he had labored for. New found power in hand, he fought on, one day meeting his end. After his death, he became an entity outside of time and was called forth many times to fight to protect the world. But, it was all too often not his own world. In fact, he soon learned that his world fell to the darkness after his death. Many of the worlds he fought for throughout time fell, the actions of one man were never enough to undo the evil of dozens or hundreds or thousands. From his unique position outside time, he was able to see the periods he was called to fight in and the eventual fall of those worlds as if they were overlaid onto one another. A hopeless and horrifying prison that was both an instant and an eternity. Time's passage was fathomable only when he was summoned, thrust into the fold of space and time for brief and precious hours

His most recent summoning was into a world soon to be conquered by the Cult. When summoned, he was given only the bare minimum of information ; that he must allow himself to be taken prisoner...

Other : Not a very fun person to be around. Being outside from time and having had to view it as a hopelessly confusing and depressing MC Escher painting for so long has taken it's burden on his optimism and sanity. He retains only the barest memories of his time as a mortal being, those few scant memories don't even include his name

No Name Not Approved. The staff are concerned he will begin the aria, then simply hold onto it for an exceptionally long amount of time before finishing it.

Two prisoners, two cultists. I think this fulfills my quota of new profiles for Landfall.

Name: Xara.

Species: Rahkshi.

Faction: Prisoner.

Power/Weapon 1: Rahkshi Electricity (Shadow Kraata Level).

Power/Weapon 2: Camera drone – constantly recording, this small, armour-plated hovering device is wirelessly linked to Xara’s brain, allowing her to see what it sees. It possesses thermal imagining and night vision capabilities, but only has a limited range, losing signal if it travels more than a few dozen bio away from Xara.

Power/Weapon 3: A protosteel staff – approximately 2 metres long, it collapses down to be half that size.

Appearance: Her smooth, streamlined armour is the standard white and blue of an electricity rahk. Her spines are a gleaming silver, and her eyes are violet.

Bio: A top graduate of Makuta Tridax’s “Corpus Rahkshi: Academy of Journalism”, Xara had always been an avid viewer of the Bionifight tournament (which definitely didn’t have anything to do with an alternate version of herself being a contestant). When the tournament abruptly went off the air, she saw the opportunity to find the scoop of the century, and set off to find out what had happened.

Over her two week search, she must’ve spoken to the wrong person – or maybe the right one – because after falling asleep one night, she awoke in a cell in the Muaka’s Den, now a prisoner of the Vapautti Sielu. But her camera is still rolling… perhaps she’ll be able to get her story after all…

Personality/Other: Open, friendly and encouraging, Xara is determined and ambitious, always on the lookout for the next big scoop. Well versed in journalistic techniques and self-defence, she is also a technical wiz, uncannily skilled at modifying, dissembling, reverse-engineering and jury-rigging all kinds of complex equipment.

Xara 2 Rahk Electric Boogaloo Approved

Name: Therex

Species: Modified Glatorian

Faction: Prisoner.

Power/Weapon 1: Due to mega-extensive training (And maybe some GB implants/genetic manipulation) Therex has the abilities of the Kanohi Calix

Power/Weapon 2: His armor contains advanced metamaterials that dampen kinetic energy. This mainly protects him from his own shockwaves, but it will also greatly dampen punches, kicks, etc. It does not protect him from sharp objects any more then regular armor would.

Power/Weapon 3: Implants by the Great Beings allow him to emit high-power shockwaves from his hands and feet. His special armor prevents him from being significantly harmed by these. He can change the power level at will.

Appearance: Therex is a Water Glatorian who is basically at absolute peak for the species. He is tall, but not big. His helmet looks like this

Bio: On an alt SM, the Shattering never happened. A faction of Great Beings stopped the EP from going boom.... But then tried to take over the planet on the basis that they saved it. They got about halfway, before the remaining GBs banded together with teh remaining Agori and Glatorian, creating a rival empire. A war started. Therex was created as a symbol of hope. He fought for a long time, until he was critically injured in battle and placed in cyrogenic stasis until a way to fix his injury could be found. When he awoke, the GBs having developed Protodermis and by extension Makuta and by extension Quick Healing Rahkshi, the world around him had changed. One of the principle changes was interdimensional TV. He was sent as an ambassador to another dimension, but was abducted by the cultists in transit.

Personality/Other: Therex is male, and has strong morals. He is an experienced leader and brilliant tactician

Therex Approved

what is this thing.

Changes underlined.

It’s all fun and games until you get captured by death cultists.

Name: Vinra

Species: Vortixx

Faction: Prisoner

Power/Weapon 1, 2, 3: One may find this tool absolutely ridiculous, and...it is. It’s a glove that heavily resembles the Nintendo Powerglove, except made to fit on a Vortixx’s hand. The glove does not require direct physical phrases to function, as it is now connected telepathically – this allows Vinra to utilize her tool while on the move, without diverting attention to typing things out. However, she still needs it on her person in order for it to function. Vinra describes it as a “hacker’s multitool”, and it is capable of the following:

-Data manipulation. Gone is the old, simple, wireless hacking. Vinra managed to break the code hindering her glove’s true potential. She no longer has to manually input code to hack things. Now? She is capable of directly altering data at its basest, much like a Toa of Data. This greatly improves her hacking abilities, and makes it much more effective on computerized opponents.

-The ability to produce a full-blown energy blade, much like an energy sword from Halo (Though only the bottom half). The blade slices through physical matter like no one’s business, but when met with anything energy it is absolutely helpless. The blade itself is strong as well, capable of parrying attacks from most standard, Toa-Strength foes. If Vinra is firing blasts of code while this blade is up, it is far weaker and more likely to break if hit by an opponent.

-The ability to fire off bursts of physical data. These function very similar to blasts of hot hardlight, and move at the speed of a crossbow bolt. She can’t fire off a bunch at once, however, and has to wait at least half a second or so between shots. If she has her blade out, she must wait a full second to fire off the bolts.

Vinra cannot manipulate data and use her blade/projectiles at the same time. She can, however, use the blade and projectiles at the same time, though both are affected when this is done, as noted in the specific section on that ability.

Appearance: Vinra is...your standard Vortixx. Black and silver armor, clawed fingers, tall, lithe, etc. Her 3D glasses are now cracked and broken, kept around her neck rather than atop her head. Her harness is torn and dim in certain locations, appearing more like an odd light here and there along her body. She has a few tattered cloths on her body, most likely from the broken harness. In the prison, she lacks her multitool.

Even after all of this, she still holds herself proudly.

Bio: Born and raised in the cyberpunk land of Xia, Vinra was a professional hacker and combatant in virtual fights. Renowned for her ability to “hack the mainframe, and hack the people”, she became famous on Xia for her incredible skills. No firewall was safe from her. No mainframe could remain unhacked. Of course, hacking was a sport in Xia, rather than a crime. Why else would she dress like a professional?

Eventually, her hacking competitions became broadcasted on the multiversal network – the first thing in her universe to actually be put there, and her island was the first to get the network. Of course, this made sense! A pathetic, steampunk island like Zakaz would never be as advanced as her own island! Especially since no one there was bright enough to make anything like that (She heard some brilliant mind wanted to fight the Island on Xia...) Her combat was never put up there, simply because of Bionifight’s overpowering control on the physical combat scene.

Her skills did not go unnoticed, however. She was soon plucked in the middle of a fight, and plopped right down into Bionifight. Looks like she’d be able to show her combative skills across the dimensions at last.

After the Bionifight facility crashed, Vinra began work on altering the code of her multitool. It did not take her long to successfully break through the dampening code on her glove, which allowed her to improve its strength drastically. Once she succeeded in doing that, she set off to fight the cultists who brought the facility down.

Vinra was captured and imprisoned by the cultists of Sota not long after.

Personality/Other: Vinra acts like a professional...for the most part. If you mention anything about Multiversal TV, she’ll start going on and on about her “Elite hacking skills”, and how “No firewall can go unbroken by her amazing code.” Not only that, but she, more than likely, will look down at other ‘stars’ on the Multiversal network, mostly because “They couldn’t hack even a level one firewall, even with tools more advanced than mine!”

Did I mention she has a bit of an ego in regards to her hacking skills? I don’t think I mentioned that.

Vinra changes Approved, but you're staff for now anyway.

Name: Asi

Species: Toa

Faction: Vapautti Sielu (Kuolema Cult)

Power/Weapon 1: Khanda: A large, double edged broadsword with a broad tip that is useless for stabbing. Has a large guard and knucklebow around the hilt, as well as a curved, blunt spike on the bottom, that can either be gripped as a hilt extension or used at close range to harm an enemy.

Power/Weapon 2: Elemental Power of Plasma. Asi can create, control, and absorb plasma, and some favoured uses include: burning enemies with plasma, burning things with plasma, coating Khanda with plasma to make it even more able to cut things and people and burn them.

Power/Weapon 3: Prince's Rage: If Asi's blood is spilled at all by an enemy, he flies into an unstoppable, brutal rage, until such time as that specific enemy is killed or retreats fully from the battle and escapes from Asi - if they don't fully retreat - such as, leaving for a short time and coming back - the rage will pick back up, and if they don't fully escape Asi, his rage will continue as he pursues them. This rage grants him strength equivalent to twice that of a Pakari, with the caveat that, after his enemy as been killed or retreats and he drops from the rage, he will be so spent of energy and weak that he barely has the energy to crawl back towards his comrades, leaving him open to attack from others.

Appearance: Asi is a tall Toa of Plasma, his body being primarily in shades of red and white, with decorations in gold, rather than in orange. Those decorations are, in fact, made of real gold. His mask appears to be a noble-shaped Kanohi Ruru, but it is powerless.

Bio: A warrior prince in his own universe, Asi eventually tried to defend his home from the Vapautti Sielu cultists, until noticing how powerful they were, and then he decided it would be great fun to join them insteads. As such, he helped exterminate all life in his home universe, and upon coming to Sarella Kirottu, he joined the cult of Kuolema, serving under Tuoni.

Even though he probably should've been with Hevias under Sota. Nobody is really sure how that happened.

Personality/Other: Asi is arrogant and haughty, although he is quite loyal to those he considers his friends. He completely lives for battle, considering that to be the ultimate activity to partake in in all of existence, and other than that he is quite fond of good food and drink and other such luxuries. Some people are wondering just how it was he ended up serving Tuoni rather than Hevias, but that's for the Heralds to know and everybody else to maybe find out some day but probably not.

She's not dodging anything. She's on the floor, about to be missing an arm.

Name: Dorian Shaddix

Species: Fe-Toa

Power/Weapon 1: In his home universe, Dorian was perhaps the most adept practitioner of his element on all of Mata Nui; he is able to infuse bits of his own willpower into his metal constructs and force them to fight for him, autonomously, for a brief period.

Power/Weapon 2: Mark of Anger; on Dorian's shoulder is an iridescent blue tattoo, circular in shape, that glows brighter when he or someone around him is feeling particularly irritable or enraged. This only augments his physical prowess. Even when inactive, it allows him near-Pakari strength and the former abilities of his inactive Kanohi Calix. When sufficiently furious, he can choose to amplify one of the two subpowers, never both.

Power/Weapon 3: Crystal sword, honed to tear open a finger at the slightest touch; former owner classified it as a "flamberge," but the dark weapon's ripples and t-shaped crossbar seem to suggest its usage as some type of keyblade.

Power/Weapon 4: Æsahættr. A double edged knife with a dark wooden handle, the name comes from the word engraved into it. It's blade is approximately 16cm in length. One edge is the shimmery incandescence of starlight and has the ability to cut through anything physical. The other edge is honed to an edge so sharp as to appear invisible, this edge has the ability to cut through anything non-physical. The blade was originally discovered by his former teammate Kale Ironshaper, who picked it up at the departure zone of a former walker between the dimensional planes and then promptly chucked it over to Dorian.

Appearance: Tall, muscular, and renowned as ~the handsomest man alive~ back home, Dorian cuts the typical heroic archetype with a Xa-Koran officer's jacket, black regalia slashed with gold, and his sword slung over his back. Tattoos of various Kanohi and vine-shaped design trace from his palms and the backs of his hands up his wrist, stopping all the way up to his heartlight. A cashmere black scarf is tied around his neck at all times, tightly as a tourniquet.

Bio: Dorian Shaddix was, by the time he turned 210, already renowned as one of Mata Nui's most unpredictable and tenacious mercenaries. As surgical an assassin as he was a rough-and-tumble brawler, he nonetheless became the most mercurial ally of the Guard forces of Mata Nui for his attempts at atonement for his actions, his preternatural ability to point out personal and factional weaknesses in both allies and enemies, and his dangerously unpredictable methods of combat - methods which brought low mercenaries, great Toa, and even the Makuta's nefarious lieutenant Heuani in a violent, fatal swordfight in the Kumu Islets. Eventually, as a loose consultant to the Ta-Koro Guard, he began seeking out traces of the remaining Makuta followers and Turaga killers, a quest that repeatedly brought him into a contact with a Guard coalition known as the Aggressors, many of whom he possessed a healthy frenemy relationship with. This status quo continued - for good and for ill - until the cataclysms that struck Mata Nui after the arrival of the Dasaka.

In a particularly pitched battle for Ko-Koro, Dorian was one of the ground fighters in a fight that quickly turned nasty upon the arrival of the Dark Toa Echelon on the field. Already carrying his wounded best friend and partner Cipher Compassrose on his back, Dorian was weighted down and unable to fight at full capacity; as such, the pitched second duel between the two elementalists raged through nine city blocks until Dorian was able to get Cipher some medical attention. With his friend secured, Dorian turned back to duel Echelon only to find that the Toa of Magnetism had vanished, and left two score of Rahkshi in his wake.

Cael Nimil and Krayn Inzaka, in a search for the missing, found Dorian two days later surrounded by the fallen of Makuta's sons. Through the power of his Mark and sheer desire to live, he had survived to finish the fight, though his trusty firearms had been twisted and destroyed beyond repair, almost a quarter of his bones had been broken, and his throat had been savagely ripped open by a Turahk's staff. The bones could be repaired, but it was too late for Dorian's throat; only his fleeting use of his trademark cashmere scarf as a massive tourniquet had held his neck together, and his vocal chords were totally demolished by the blow. The loss of the loudmouthed, smartass mercenary's ability to snark is, literally, too great for words.

He made his recovery in solitude, away from any who tried to visit him, and found himself teleported to the Bionifight tournament not long after returning to optimal condition.

Personality/Other: Male, pansexual, demiromantic. wound on his throat renders him unable to speak. This lends him a reserved, inscrutable air he never possessed when he was able to speak. Eyes glow iridescent blue when Mark is particularly active. Wears a small, beaten, silver cigarette lighter as a pendant around his neck. Unable to drink bourbon due to throat and windpipe damage. Thoroughly disgusted with this fact.

Hey hey, staff. Aiyu got canned, sorry if you wasted time giving thought to his (un)balance.

Name : No Name

Species : Summoned Spirit

Faction : Prisoners

Power/Weapon One : Forgery of Swords. Both a literal and figurative power. No Name is able to perfectly analyze (and store away the information for) and replicate any weapon he considers a sword.

For OOC balance reasons his aria must take at least/no more than 3/5 posts to complete and usage of the boost ability will be severely limited in frequency.

Here we go... one more time...

Name: Berekzo

Species: Multiversal Singularity

Faction: Prisoner

Power/Weapon 1: Realm Shard Construction. The layers that make up Berekzo’s “flesh” are actually formed from what has become known as “Realm Shards,” large, sharpened fragments of an alien stone that are able to move through the air at great speeds on Berekzo’s mental command. When the parts are combined with its “skeleton,” it is able to use their united power to levitate.

Power/Weapon 2: Dimensional Gates. Much like the Kanohi Olmak, Berekzo is able to open portals in space-time anywhere within its view, though it lacks the power to bridge the gap between universes. Objects that fall into these portals are stored in unique pocket dimensions where it seems no time has passed before Berekzo needs them again. In this form, it only has sufficient power for five unique dimensions, or five unique objects. Living creatures cannot survive within these dimensions.

Power/Weapon 3: Enhanced durability. Whatever Berekzo is made of is extremely difficult to break or even scratch. Temperature extremes, electric shocks, and acidic compounds seem to have a lessened effect on both its skeleton and the Realm Shards.

Appearance: When it was found by the Cultists, Berekzo appeared as a charred skeleton. Its frail, charcoal black frame is covered in what seem to be tiny, glittering gems that glow in darkness. Its six arms are long and tipped with three gangly fingers, while its legs are short and seem to hardly be able to support it. Its face appears as a strange cross between Toa and beast, though his short snout lacks any visible mouth. Its iridescent eyes shine from deep within sunken pits.

The dark, metallic Realm Shards complete its form, cloaking its “skeleton” in a mimicry of muscle. Their smooth, faceted faces are etched with mysterious designs that run across its body.

Bio: Berekzo was once a powerful but curious creature roaming through the space between universes. Its powers over time and space allowed it to sojourn between these realms, always seeking the strange and new sights unique to that place. Where it visited, many peoples heralded it as a god, and in return for the honors, it left a portion of its being with them, the stones that would become the Realm Shards. After millennia of traveling, its substance was spread throughout the multiverse, and the weakened Berekzo remained with a choice people, overseeing their progress as their deity.

At last, the Vapautti Sielu caught up with it. Without its Realm Shards, it proved simple to capture and take to the Muaka’s Den, where it waited. The Realm Shards knew their owner, and they began to return to it, restoring Berekzo to its former glory and power.

Personality: Berekzo is curious and eagerly searches for new discoveries. If you show it something it has never seen before, it may reward you with a favor or a token of appreciation, especially within the Muaka’s Den, where new scenery is scarce. Its former energy and youthfulness have been worn away to a long-enduring patience. It is able to sit, without moving, for years, and it has. Some question whether it still lives, or if it has long since perished in its confines. Though it is able to speak Matoran, it rarely does so.

Name: Parasite

Species: Unknown

Faction: Cultist of Plague

Gender: none

Weapon/power 1:Body of the deathly masses In being a horrible mutated fleshy creature, Parasite appears to be made of fleshy bio mass. while injuring it is not difficult, keeping it down is harder, as any wound sustained will begin to regenerate a short time later. It can speed up this process by consuming biomass.

Weapon/Power 2: Bones of the unending. Parasite can pull up to two bone weapons from its body these weapons take the form of milky white sharpened bone swords.

Weapon power 3: Shifting graves. Can summon up to three zombie like creatures similar to himself from the masses of dead buried in the earth all over the island.

Appearance: Basically if you took a Glatorian and exposed them to the Flood from Halo. He's got whip like appendages on his mutated and strengthened right arm. the original head of whatever host body Parasite infected has been pushed up and aside, lolling at a sickening angle. its body is covered in sickly greenish grey tumor like flesh, and it walks and moves with a disturbing wetness. Feelers extend from the chest cavity, sensing more than seeing it's surroundings, though it is capable of sight.

Personality: Vicious, almost feral, and always hunting for prey, this Parasite -is- sentient, but has not seen fit to learn speech, or perhaps simply does not care to. It hunts constantly for prey, which tends to be glatorian and agori, as they have more biomass for him to ingest.

Bio: Once a simple parasitic spore,Parasite was exposed to one of the lesser, but more fit members of the cult, and overtook their body in a matter of hours. Now they serve the Herald of Plague for reasons unknown to any except them, and it is possible only because they can infect others more easily. its strength is immense(but outmatched by Pakari users) due to the mutated flesh and lack of self preservation holding it back.

Parasyte NOT APPROVED, mostly because Shifting Graves lacks clarification. Does he have total control over the undead he summons? Partial? None? If a zombie is killed, how long does he have to wait to summon another?

Ah, okay. It has no control over them, they simply attack anything in the area. And it can only do it once per fight.

:/

If it's still too iffy I can change the power.

With clarifications, Parasyte is now Approved.

You know, since I'm not going to be posting any more profiles (hopefully... I can't bear any more), I thought I'd share what I've come up with. Here's the 31 unique profiles I've come up with over the course of this game, only 10 of which were actually submitted. I've got Halkenverse characters, Elementals, shameless expies, joke characters, characters deemed too OP to submit, unwilling Cultists, living wood and dead Toa, and plenty more. Feel free to use them for ideas or NPCs or something.

I'll admit, I've had a lot of fun with this game, and I'll probably keep writing up profiles when I get ideas.

I don't think it would take that out, just the Containment Center.

She was charging it up in the post before, then got shot in the back with a gas grenade.

I think something like that would break her focus.

I edited the orginal post to wipe out the waves of water. They're not coming yet. You'll have a chance to kill her before it goes off. Or kill each other.

Sorry for confusion and post swinging here. I'd like to get back to interacting.

I don't think it would take that out, just the Containment Center.

I think you're underestimating the strength of a Nova Blast. From BS01:

A Nova Blast is an explosive release of all the Elemental Energy that a Toa contains. Although the effects will vary, the radius of damage that can be inflicted through a Nova Blast released by an average Toa will encompass an area larger than the city of Metru Nui.

Ismekne probably isn't in any condition to unleash something nearly that powerful, but it's still easily going to decimate a massive area - well beyond just the containment centre.

I could be wrong, but I've been under the impression that this island we're all on is pretty small.

As in, much smaller than Metru Nui was.

EDIT:

So, I got bored and did some very rough calculations using my vague memories of year ten maths, and some measurements I pulled off BS01 and Wikipedia.

First off:

Metru Nui was roughly 65 times smaller than Mata Nui, being only 47.6 Kio long and 24 kio wide (40.51 miles/65.2 km long and 20.43 miles/32.88 km wide).

Now, if we were to apply those same dimensions to the Containment Centre, and use that as a gauge to determine the size of Saarella Kirottu, like so…

…it already looks ridiculous.

Now, obviously these numbers will be far from perfect, but that would give the island an area of approximately 68644 kio, which is 58,347 square miles, or 94042.28 kilometres squared (it’d actually be less than that, but for the sake of my sanity I’m just going to pretend it’s a perfect square).

To put that in perspective…

And for those of you who use miles, I found some comparisons for you as well:

  • Georgia is also bigger, at 59,425 square miles.
  • And Illinois is smaller, at 57,914 square miles.

Suffice to say, there’s no freaking way the island is that stupidly huge, therefore the Containment Centre couldn't be even remotely close to the size of Metru Nui.

repost, clarified how the amulet works, hope that's enough

Name: Miira Ac Drachares
Species: Vortixx
Faction: Prisoner
Appearance: Miira is an athletic Vortixx, skin armour coloured completely black. She's quite agile and quick, although not particularly strong. Several scars are scattered across her body, green and red swirls tattooed on her back. She has sharpened her finger claws and teeth. Her eyes and heartlight glow light blue.
History: Miira was Dartakh's lover, and comes from a universe where it was her who survived. She spent years aimlessly wandering after Dartakh's death and the disbanding of her mercenary group, without any motivation to keep living. Like Dartakh in another universe, she later continued to work as a mercenary and became obsessed with violence. Her universe was conquered by Vapautti Sielun and she was imprisoned.
Personality/Other: Miira is serious and cunning. She has always been an adept liar and usually lacks compassion for others. She trusts nobody and lacks any sense of humour. Before Dartakh's death, Miira was happy, compassionate and loved joking, but those days are long gone. She's not sure if there's any point in escape attempts and doesn't really care about freedom anymore.
Weapon 1: Poisoned blades: Miira's favourite weapons, two identical daggers coated with a permanent sheen of poisonous matter. The coat poisons organic matter upon contact. Resulting symptom is dizziness that slowly escalates until the person loses consciousness. This process usually takes about fifteen minutes. The daggers are good for both stabbing and slashing. She calls them 'The Deadly Twins".
Power 2: Tachyr amulet: While it appears to be a mere golden necklace, the wearer may press the amulet's yellow gem and become temporarily invulnerable by making their skin immune to physical damage and pain. This effect lasts for a few seconds, but can save the wearer's life. After use it takes quite a while for the amulet to recharge.
Weapon 3: Throwing daggers: She owns a set of daggers designed for throwing. They are balanced and sharp, deadly in the hands of an experienced user. Unlike her normal daggers, these ones aren't poisoned.

still alive somehow
