I believe he sees Exxan as "weak enough" to fall under his usual protection. I'm still debating on whether or not Fang has had some experience in murder. It would make sense with his dialogue and his character and it would explain a lot... He'd barely spoken with Exxan, and he's never even met Xara before, but now he's basically begging for an arse-kicking from both of them. Does he have a deathwish? To be honest, all of Vaalku's behavior has been very erratic and inconsistent. Ignoring people's posts, walking out of conversations, meeting people for the first time and immediately insulting them... It makes zero sense from an IC or OOC standpoint. In fact, he's acting so completely differently to what his profile that it doesn't even sound like the same character. Very quiet. But at the same time very threatening. He doesn't like authorities whatsoever, and secretly respects Toa even though he has never seen one. And he is unusually soft. He's not quiet, kind of the exact opposite, in that he won't shut up. He isn't even remotely threatening in any way, shape or form, since all he's done it make a general nuisance of himself. And if he were soft, he wouldn't have started insulting Xara of all people. Seriously, I demand a freaking explanation. It took me a while, hence my earlier posts I used it very infrequently. It's a word for naturally occurring rubber There isn't too much to get about him. He's got a simpler goal and mindset than most; fight some good fights. People that don't have similar aspirations are those he dislikes. He also said "Your safety is my business" during said fight. I think everyone just finds him annoying, including Fang to be honest. Still, none of that seems to fit with his profile either, but then again, Fang's original profile was very different from how he's been acting recently. Vaalku just needs an update. I swear, Dane, Deadeye is just your way of getting Omega's revenge from beyond the grave, isn't he? But, like Exxan, Fang has had some major character development, which has given him a legitimate reason to change his behaviour. Vaalku has been acting like this from the start; he was never portrayed Ic the way he's described in his profile. First Sidonas, then Vaalku, and now Deadeye! revenge on Exxan in the process Angering the guy with nothing left to lose isn't a good way to get revenge. It's an excellent way to get yourself killed, though.
