IC: Snarl - Training Sector.

He recoiled, eliciting a noise that made it very clear how he'd gotten his name. He should've known to avoid her; clearly she'd taken their battle in the arena a little too personally. Too late now....

Flexing his powerful leg muscles, he sprang to the side, turning his head to spit a paralysis bolt at her gun hand.

IC: Lady Dajik - Training Sector

The smoke whipped around as the hound took to the air. The tendril's followed, giving her a good idea of where it would land. She fired off another shot towards its head just before the same stinging sensation as earlier filled her hand, forcing her to drop the weapon.

"You couldn't just leave me be," she snarled right back. "You had to come crawling back to finish the job! Well not this time!"

Her hands slipped into blades and the smoke curled around her, covering her path as she wove closer and closer to the mutt.

IC(Kalatin): The gelatin ignored both the Enforcer's and Xara's comments. It remained flat againest the left wall, and shrank back, hoping to fool the pair into thinking that he was just a dumb beast.

He decided if the two choose to pester him, he would leave. Remaining on good terms with the tournament organizers and maintaining his alliance with those unfairly treated was more important than obtaining more information. It was unfortunate, but it was the right thing to do.

IC: Dartakh (Comfort/Commercial Sector | Talking with Ravyn)

Dartakh gestured at Ismekne with his hand in a way that was similar to giving someone the finger in our western culture and walked out of the room. He headed towards the Commercial sector after waiting for Ravyn to follow, and later said "I should stop drinking the exotic drinks here because my body can't bloody handle them, but I haven't found any of the familiar and milder brews I used to drink back in my world, so I keep trying them out, trying to find something decent. So far I've only managed to get drunk in record time. Do you have any recommendations?"

IC: Feli Gemshimmer (Training/Knowledge Sector | Talking with Dayeth and Turbo Vixen)

She nodded and said "You do not want to anger the gamemakers. They are very strong, and by that I do not mean their physical strength.. they can intrude our minds, use our own powers against us or take them away, for example. But we will be given freedom sooner rather than later, so don't worry. I've fought in a tournament before, and I'm still alive."

"I've done enough talking for a lifetime. I'd like to get this tournament over and done with so I can stay dead. Nobody seems to want me alive anyway. I'm just a ghost."

IC Kat:

"How can you say that?" I spoke in almost a whisper.

"I wish you'd never died in my time. I wish I'd been there to stop the fight, so I didn't.... So I didn't have to walk in and find Exxan standing over you...."

"We were practically kids then. Barely a year old, if that."

I shook my head. "I was too headstrong and adventurous. Always looking for the next challenge, the next fight."

"It's cost me too many friends."

IC Belitun - Knowledge Sector

"Are you familiar with Spherus Magna, Toa? I was part of a people born with the planet. We were caretakers of a sort for a very long time, until one of my sister's lust for power drove her to commit unspeakable crimes. My other sisters chose to fight, either against her or with her, I instead chose exile. I forsook my higher powers and took nothing but the Riftwalker's knife with me." At the conclusion of her sentence, she unsheathed the knife and held it up for Sesdec to inspect. "It was given to me by a shining knight, Ser Artorias. He was a Toa, much like you, but passed away a long time ago..."

IC: Omega

Omega just spat. "You barely know me. Think about it. How much DO you know about me? Stop acting like we're old friends or some ###### like that."

IC Kat:

I stared.

"You're stubborn. To a fault. You like fighting, dunno why but you do. You thought you were some kinda traitor when you helped Fang out and I'd be willing to bet you were torn when it came down to the thought that you'd have to pick a side."

My gaze was hard, but not angry.

"Regardless of what anyone else says I know you aren't perfect. And I don't expect you to be or have been."

"The only thing I expect is that you tell me if you have some issue with me. I know.... Or at least knew you, Omega. And you know enough about me to know that I treat people like people. If you need to have a go at me, I'll gladly go to the Training Sector and give it to you."

"But I'm not gonna fight you in that Arena."

IC: Omega

Don't rush in this time. That's what happened with Exxan. Omega took a deep breath, and began to circle Kat. His hands were curled up into tight hammers, ready to smash. His eyes narrowed, and his back straightened. His fists came up into fighting position, and he lunged forward, swinging his hand like a gigantic mace, headed straight for Kat's face.

She's right, that's what happened last time. The kick bounced off his muscular body. He span round, and lunged forward, snapping his head forward for a headbutt.

He shook his head. The name was unfamiliar to him, though he had read nearly every book he could get his hands upon. His head fell sympathetically as she revealed her history, only to raise again to admire the strange blade. The great gift and the loss of its giver seemed to bestow a sanctity upon it beyond its appearance.

"I... h-had n-not read of such h-happenings..." murmured he, reverently.

IC: Arkrax - Knowledge Sector

He watched Kat go, a flicker of curiousity growing within him. What could be so important that she would disconnect from the conversation?

It was none of his concern, that was probable. He looked back to Venga, unsure of how to continue the conversation with the Rahkshi. Perhaps it would be best to depart back into his data collection, but he decided to politely wait to see if Venga had any last remarks for him.

IC: Tomo

"Oh, you're from Spherus Magna too?" Tomo asked Belitun. She then turned to Sesdec and said:

"Like I said, interdimensional fighting tournament. There are a lot of people from various different locations and even universes here. Have you read any books dealing with parallel universes before?"

IC: Sesdec - Knowledge Sector

He thought for a moment in silence, considering his vast library. Alternate realities were sparse in his selected genre... but they were there. None had... fleshy creatures in them, however.

He just nodded his head weakly in response.

"Yes, I come from Spherus Magna. Whether it was or is the same as yours, I do not know." She turned back to the Toa, "may I ask where you come from, good Toa?"

IC(Ismekne): As soon as the pair left, Ismekne inspected her door. It seemed to be intact. Probably her first guess about the door being unlocked was correct, or the Vortixx used a lock pick. But he didn't seem the lock picking type.

She decided to go to the Commercial Sector. She knew how to fix this problem - it was time to implement a solution from her home universe.

IC: Sevyn (Comfort Sector, With Donri)

"Not as bright a place as Stelt then!" He replied with a grin, hands moving to accent his words.

"I don't suppose you could help me orient myself better, my friend? I will freely admit that I have no experience in this arena, and what secret ingredients it may hold."

IC: Nisaduf (Hallways)

"Arenas are always pretty random," Nisa replied, not noticing Riss's shaking.

"Though I have noticed a general trend where Mahri Nui is often chosen for team rounds, and sometimes even the first team round like it was this time. I had the data at home but that's at home and not here so it doesn't really matter though I wonder if we're allowed to keep anything from our time in the tournament.."

She pauses and shrugs before continuing.

"Maybe the Host finds it amusing for some random id-ehem, unsmart individual- to always pop the bubble."

IC: Zakaro (His Room, with Olari)

He chuckles listlessly at the joke before listening to her continued comments and then nods.

"I sup-pose, at least now. Pretty sure my motto for at least one tournament was something along the lines of 'Sanity is overrated.' I didn't get far, but it was fun. Maybe that's why they keep bringing me back, other than the fact that I actually didn't happen to mind all that much. I make the battles interesting to watch, I suppose."

...This guy is odd.

"Well, it's the Bionifight tournament. Apparently broadcast across the multiverse, for everyone to watch, and all of the contestants got picked. right now we're in the...er, Comfort sector." She gestured around the lobby. "Back a bit are the sleeping quarters for everyone. There's probably one for you already set up or something. You can do whatever you want to your room to customize it. Uh, there's a food court a bit down the ways, the food is pretty okay..."

She tapped a finger to her chin, before continuing. "Also there's a...training sector, apparently. Some other things, but I'm drawing a blank right now."

IC: "As you wish." Skrall was happy to let the lesser beings continue along whatever meaningless tasks they wished since it generally meant they left him alone.

"Unless you wish to test yourself against me?" After the round starting had interrupted his duel with Tarsus, and the round ending had left his fight against CinS with no real conclusion, Skrall had a real craving for an actual victory. Or even a fair defeat. Something concrete at the very least

IC: "Attack someone you say?"

Oh this would be good. See how the sneer on that smug so-and-so's face lasted when a solid steel disk smacked into it. The Vixen's three fingers twitched as they readied to summon the metal...

"I wouldn't recommend that."

Someone new. Another bipedal alien thing like tseemingly everything else around here, only covered in rocks. Clearly from a different sector than the other two.

"The organizers of this place are extremely powerful. The Host, the one running this show; he can teleport as easily as he can breath. His companion, the Queen, possesses Psionics power far beyond even the Dasaka of old. And the Enforcer? Not only can they cancel out any known power... I'm not sure exactly what happened, but I hear that apparently they took an anti-materiel round to the face, a bullet capable of punching through carbon steel armor. They lived. Challenging any of them to single combat would be suicidal. They wouldn't willingly bring anything more powerful than themselves here."

Some of those words made sense. Turbo had no idea what a Dasaka was, or Psionics. But bullets and steel? Those she knew. But all that speech told her was not to challenge them to single combat. Just pick them off or wear them down from a distance.

"You do not want to anger the gamemakers. They are very strong, and by that I do not mean their physical strength.. they can intrude our minds, use our own powers against us or take them away, for example. But we will be given freedom sooner rather than later, so don't worry. I've fought in a tournament before, and I'm still alive."

"I don't want freedom later. I don't want freedom sooner. I want freedom now. How is that so hard to understand?" She revved angrily, "Look, I clearly don't belong in this crazy world, so just show me to this Host and I can talk it over with him. Or just beat him up a bit until he agrees. Whichever solves the problem fastest."

IC: Venga looked inquisitively at Arkrax, a being of such that he had never seen before.

"So, and don't take this the wrong way, but what are you?"

IC: The subject had been skirting around sanity for too long for Olari to ignore the questions bubbling around in her head.

"After being in so many battles, have you not started to feel...thin?" She looked at her arm. The arm she absolutely should not have because it had been blown off last round. She'd felt every burning second of it being blown off. The arm she had right now was a ghost, no matter how solid it felt. "Thin or unsubstantial. Like bits of you are flaking off?"
