Logan McOwen
When I moved on to primarily CCBS-based MOCing in 2015, I sold the vast majority of my G1 parts, only keeping my masks, some select armour and weapon pieces and a few of my favourite G1 sets. Since then however, I've started collecting more of my favourite G1 sets to keep - a few which I previously owned before the 2015 purge, and a few I've never had before. I've even started collecting Slizers sets, hoping to eventually end up having the entire set. Currently, the vast majority of my G1 collection is in pieces. Each set bagged up individually and archived in a big white box, so I can build them again at a later date for display. Four Roboriders, three Slizers and my Exo Toa however are stored - again, in pieces - in their original packaging. Currently, only Roodaka, Millenia Slizer and three other Slizers stand built on my shelf, as these are the most recent additions to my collection and I want to have them out on display for a bit before I go ahead and archive them. I mostly do this archiving business as I don't have much spare space in my room - my one shelving unit is already dominated by MOCs and books, and every other surface in my room either has storage or electronics on it. I could put up more shelves on the wall to the side of my bed, but they'd likely cover the entire wall and make things look messy. Maybe I'll be able to have all of my sets out on display when I move out on my own? So anyway, how do you store your Bionicle figures? Do you archive them like me? Are they all jumbled up in one parts bin? Or are you lucky enough to have them all out on display?EDIT: Apologies if this has been asked lots and lots before. Hey, I guess this is better than necroing an old thread, right? Edited April 14, 2016 by Logan McOwen 1 Quote I inadvertently predicted Vorox armour's use in G2. Arcee
Sadly when I moved across the country last year I had to sell my old collection, save for the masks and other rare collectibles that I kept :,( When I was younger, though, it was all just in a bin. It really made MOCing tough, having to spread everything out on the floor Since then I only have a handful of gen 2 and Hero Factory sets, not enough parts to get back into MOCing. As such I've got a little spot on my shelves for them (my partner collects My Little Ponies and similar 80's stuff so we display them with those, we had a pretty silly display where Lewa was having a tea party with some other toys, the teacup handle fit right into the slot in his hand!) Archiving by set seems like a pretty good idea though and if I ever start collecting again I might borrow that idea. I always had the problem of never being able to reassemble figures as a kid because everything ended up scattered around.
Toa Smoke Monster
My Gen 1 sets are currently standing on shelves in my closets or standing on the floor of said closets. My Gen 2 sets are all currently standing around on the floor in my room, because I don't have anywhere else to put them and I don't want to take them apart. I really need to put more shelves up in my room. 1 Quote Everyone is one choice away from being the bad guy in another person's story.
Tarn
Pretty much all my Bionicle/CCBS parts are in boxes under my bed, completely uncategorized. Whenever I MOC it makes it kinda...difficult.My G2 sets are sitting on a shelf. Very top, because they deserve it I guess. Can't bring myself to take 'em apart yet, mostly because I don't have any of their 2016 incarnations yet. 1 Quote [BZPRPG] (shout out to max)

Dogbert
G1 sets remained hidden in a bigh cardboard box until I install big enough shelves to display them. G2 sets roll around my desk and my dinning room, mostly beacuse I use them as models for my fanfic. I have been careful, so as not loose any pieces. 1 Quote My epic "Volver a comenzar": http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/21137-volver-a-comenzar/
MrSciFiGuy
I have large container stands that hold about 12 canisters each, perfect for the two waves of 6 releases. I used to have most of my titans built, but I deconstructed all but the 08 and onward ones (because the joints tend to break so its not worth taking apart to rebuild). It takes up a lot of space but that's not counting my MOCing tubs of spare parts. It's all very well organized though 1 Quote Bionicle: ANP aims to create narrated versions of all the Bionicle books, with voice actors for each character, and music taken from various media to enhance the story. Kid Icarus
At the moment, parts of the Skull Villains are sorted by piece in a big tackle box. Big pieces, like the skull axe weapons and chest armours, are stored at the very bottom along with "chunks" of sets I didn't want to take apart (namely the remains of LoSS who's claw parts are sorted out.) In a much smaller tackle box I have 4 of the protectors and one Hero Factory set I bought for parts. (I think his name was Speed Demon or something.) The top tray for that holds all of my masks, including the protectors' since I feel they're hibernating or something when they're maskless. Idk, it just felt cruel to shove them in boxes if they weren't.

Bionicleboy8730
My g1 sets are lined up by wave (like the tohunga, mata, bohrok, nuva, bohrok kal, rahkshi etc..) lined up behind each other on my bookshelf (I have a very big one) some however, are in my closet in their canisters. My parts are organized by those storage containers with drawers and my weapons and miscellaneous parts are in a big plastic bin. As for my g2 sets, they,re mainly put together in custom combiner models or have their parts store in their box till I get to making a moc with them, but I keep my fqavorite ones like umarak or certain creatures or favorite titans displayed on any room I have on my desk. -Windrider-
Honestly, all my parts pre-reboot (except for Lhikan, who is assembled) are buried in containers somewhere in my parents' house. My MOCing days are pretty much over, so I don't expect them to see daylight anytime soon. And I don't really have enough room in my apartment... CyclonatorZ
My current Bionicle display consists entirely of G2 sets, which means only about 10 percent of my collection is sitting on shelves. All of my G1 Bionicle sets are currently being stored in their original canisters or in plastic bags - with the notable exception of Maxilos, who has been modified into Makuta and is being displayed with my skull villains in lieu of an official G2 set of the Master of Control. And my loose pieces from both eras of Constraction figures are sorted and stored in bins and fish tackle boxes for easy access, as I have done with spare Lego parts since the very early days of my hobby.
